I met him in a costa coffee in the city centre years ago and he bought everyone a coffee and stopped to chat and have a pic with everyone top bloke (even for a city fan)

Between 1890 and 2021 1,876 people have died in the ring as a direct result of injuries sustained in bouts. So how has he not or any boxer for that matter not put their life on the line?

Watched most of hattons fights and not only one of my favourite fighters with his all out action but even more likeable is his down to earth genuine guy whos never forgot his roots and always been so passionate and grateful to his army of fans and truly wanted each any every win not only for himself but the thousands of fans who travelled all over to follow him.
Great guy had a good chat with him when I boxed on PRIZE FIGHTER it’s great to see legends stay humble 👍👍👊

@Jed Eye I've not finished the video yet but so far Hatton's body language suggests discomfort, that's it. He might just be uncomfortable talking about personal issues on camera.
Everyone gets depressed sometime in their life, some more than others. Everyone gets anxiety of some sort some time in their life, some worse than others. Doesn't mean that people don't enjoy their life. Being depressed doesn't mean you want to commit suicide, there are many different ways people suffer from depression and everyone is different. It's a strange that a few people out there often put depressed people in the same scenario in their heads, "ah, so and so is feeling a bit down this week he obviously wants to hang himself".

By chance I met Ricky Hatton in the VIP area of the Dubliner in Las America’s Tenerife around 3.30 one morning, I bought him a pint o’ Guinness and we chatted , so down to earth, he and his girl were lovely people. I've been lucky to meet Ricky a few times, mostly in LONG LEGS 🙄 🤫🤣 He bought me a drink once. What a lovely down to earth man and a true Manc 👊
Ricky always put on an amazing fight. The walkout for the Kosta fight is insane with energy and it all changed when he won that fight. Super status CHAMPION.

Used to do the bins on his street and always wondered what it was like in there.
Absolutely loved this,ricky was so entertaining and one of the best.now we go again with Campbell.🥳🥊
His son is never going be anywhere near as good as his dad, he's just living off the fame of the name. His last opponent got the bus to the fight, calls himself a journeyman after only 4 fights and is trained by an ex journeyman with a record of 52 fights 52 losses. And he didn't look that good against him.
