Hi Richard. I have been watching your content for a while now and I really enjoyed this new, more interactive approach. This was a great episode and really informative, both about the kingfishers but also your approach to getting these shots. I have two questions....1. where was this footage taken....2. Where did you get the mobile hide and is it effective for the purpose of getting close to your subjects?
Hi there thank you so much for the awesome comment, there’s a lot more to come in terms of this style of video haha! The footage was taken in my garden in Richards Bay, South Africa. The hide was bought on Amazon, it does work well when wanting to get closer to your subject!
Wow, brilliant footage Richard. Did you ever find the nest, or see any youngsters?
Thank you, no it was in the embankment behind the thick vegetation...
Hey buddy where you been? You've not released more content recently, which is a real shame. I look forward to your vids. I hope this prompts you to get back in the saddle and start filming again. Hope you keeping well. 👍
