I have watched one or two of your other videos, when I saw this one pop up. We are in the Cape, so too far for a short visit, but planning a trip to Kzn. Really enjoyed this video, very good photography and the way you put it all together really conveys the feeling of being in the bush. Also appreciate the captions for the bird species, to help learn more and appreciate the birds. Many thanks Barbara
Thank you so much for the awesome comment! If you have any questions about where to stay and which routes to travel in Northern KZN send me an email on vanhaghtrichard@gmail.com I will be happy to help!
Some cracking birds there, Richard and another excellent video.I saw the broadbill but I'm not sure if I saw Rudd's Apalis there or Mkuze, I need to check my notes.
We were there in 1986 and there were lots of crocodiles. However, they don't appear to be there anymore, or did you seen them but haven;t shown them in this video? Also the bush war was still in progress and the game guards had FN automatic rifles, and there were a lot of army camps round about outside Ndumu.

I was there in mid '70 in a old vw beetle
How were the sightings back in the 70s ?
Another mesmerising video of your bird sightings, thank you. I was also at Sodwana in the 70's 😊. Came down from Swaziland every summer 💚🤎💚
So nice of you! Thank you for your great comment, Ndumo must have been so different back then!
Definitely places I would love to go birding! Thanks for the video.

Thanks a lot Dave! Plenty Rudd's Apalis at Ndumo!
In Zimbabwe we called that tree with the pink and yellow flowers "tassels for the chef's hat". Apparently used for toothache (don't know which bit).
Interesting!

There were no crocodiles in that body of water(that I noticed). Thank you for watching!
You should try the scuba diving!
Haha next time I definitely will!
