Wow I live in New York and I never went to Times Square on New Year's Eve. Too crowded an the tv offers more details of the ball falling and fireworks over the Hudson River. It's beautiful!!! 2013!!! :)

Going to Times Square on NYE is on people's bucket lists. Times Square cannot do a huge fireworks display due to the amount of taller skyscrapers nearby, but Central Park does it, NY Harbor, and Prospect Park.
Man 2013 has been fucking awesome for me, year of a bunch of firsts for me. Got my first job, first car, first time getting laid, first time getting piss drunk, first time having a really big party, got my braces off and the year isnt even over yet lol. I swear Im going to times square in 2019 to bring in the next decade 2020!!
Ok maybe the fire work explosions aren't as spectacular compared to other places but our vibe is so different you can feel the excitement from New Yorkers! Btw frank Sinatra New York song makes new year even better!!! I love it
I was in China and it was Jan 1 noon when this was happening. All I did for Dec 31, 2012 (chinese time zone) was watching new year show in China and went to sleep at 10. When I woke up, it is 2013. Before watching this video, I was watching my own recorded video of the 2012 countdown. Suddently I realized, it was only like yesterday that we are all still counting down to 2012 in 2011, hoping the world doesn't end on Dec 21, and in a blink of an eye, we are counting down to 2013 in 2012.
For all those inquiring minds about this video upload date. It was actually uploaded after midnight on Jan 1, 2013 Eastern time but TH-cam is located on the West Coast on Pacific Time 3hrs difference, so I am amusing that was reason why it shows uploaded Dec 31, 2012.
The celebration in NYC on NYE is so unique and special! It stands out from other cities fireworks displays....I hope to go one year!
