Living in the desert, it looks like just a major thunderstorm to me. They most definitely can cause destruction like tornados because the winds are sometimes upwards of 100 MPH. Have experienced some where I lived on the 2nd floor and I saw transformers blowing up and the rain and wind so hard that as it neared my apartment, other high rises, lights and everything else disappeared.
*Just how Incompetent is their Forestry Department, ESPECIALLY after the Little Bear Fire just a mere dacade ago. One would think to get and BE prepared for another one, perhaps even bigger!*
It's actually arson. I live there, Monday there wasn't a cloud in the sky. I was having coffee with my friend at downshift by the river when all our phones went nuts and you could see billows of smoke creeping over the town. This was the most terrifying fire I've ever seen. People are sleeping on cots in crowded gymnasiums. It's heartbreaking, I'm very blessed to have family nearby.
@@ardene6301 You are probably right. I know there are a lot of people who would do such a horrible thing. But mis management of the forests is also a thing. I grew up there and I remember seeing how the forest floors were layers upon layers of pine needles and how the trees are so crowded that none of them can really grow big. I always knew it was just a matter of time before something like this happened.
@@thelatearthurmorgan6158unfortunately we had not had very much moisture this year. Fortunately the rain over the past few days is actually making a difference. Thanking God, and everyone for their prayers
COME ON MAN the dude is NOT overly concerned it was LOSING MONEY and this way a BIG FAT INSURANCE CHECK will make him smile beyond all smiles come on dude we know the score, just looking at all the FAILED or non existent MITIGATION i can clearly see WHY so much went up in smoke
I'm so sorry for these people. This is my biggest fear as I live in a fire prone area. Now my grandson is a Wildlands Firefighter.
Thats so sad, its getting so hot it could happen so easy now.
Mismanagement of the forests.

Prayer to God’s Country.
He doesnt sound like he has 1 oz of concern, or sense of loss in his voice.
