I grew up with many majorettes. aside them having the best suspension ever (the only diecasts you can make bounce), the interiors were often very detailed, with extra stuff in the trunks or on rear decks. like a golf bag in the rear of a VW Golf... some had detailed dashboards, and some came with extra parts like grille and rear mirrors, and somesuch. things you couldn't find anywhere else. lovely work here, nice detailing, it looks pretty spot-on. :)
Majorette toy cars were cool. And tough. My brother and me had them in the 1970's, and whilst we were not destructive kids, as money was tight then. I don't think that we broke any Majorettes. Ever. They made some crazy beautiful models, too, of types nobody else did. I had a snowmobile with steerable skids, and a working caterpillar track, and a six-wheel amphibious buggy, with spherical wheels. Try and find some of their VW delivery vans. They were sweet, and begging to be customized. Great looking Volvo. Love the green. In the 1970's, my uncle, a motor engineer, worked for Volvo UK. His job was to take random samples of newly imported Volvo cars... and test them to destruction, to ensure that they were the safest car you could buy. Hell of a job. When the automotive manual publishers, Haynes (very famous here in the UK) created workshop guides for the Volvo 240 and 245, the hands seen in the photographs displaying various maintainence tasks, are those of my uncle.
Love the Canadian'isms...and if that is not a word it should be. Nice to see a volvo get some love. The details are spot on and not sure i've ever seen a headlight assembly like that before.
Hell yeah! There were a couple of late 240 wagons getting around my town with the whole 850R style body kits and V8's back in the early 2000's, those thing looked awesome (1 white with blacked out body kit, 1 silver with black black bumpers and rear wing).
Super Nice casting. I love theese old volvos. Dont have one myself, but i had the 1:32? When i was a kid. In my youth i've had 6 volvo 240's. To wagons,3 sedan 4 door, and one ambulance.
Yeah window tinting is tricky. I use VHT nite shades & only spray in very light coats (usually 2 coats max). The windows always appear darker once the car is reassmbled for some reason. Nice job on the volvo
Nice to see you do a sturdy 'Made in France' Majorette, I have quite a few playworn ones on the back burner for restomodding so this is a great indicator of what I can expect. Love your videos, keep 'em comin'! 👍
that looks awesome, the grille turned out great, ive been a Volvo Technician for almost 30 years now, and thats definitely not a color ive ever seen on a Volvo 240
Hey brother, if you can get your hands on another one of those, that classic burgundy that they're famous for would look great. Love the tint job - it works for that car.
Finally, so cool! But the trim on the 200's was black rubber with a faux chrome centerline, and the rain gutter along the A-pillar and roofline is trimmed with polished tin.... I look at my '89 too much... Glad people like them more now, for the price they're still a perfect classic car to get into. They should get into watching more of your videos too! 😎
It turned out nice. Looks like it got 19" on it. Love the spicy collour and Nice/true details. Way to go. Had to wait a bit to se this one, until i knew i could watch it uninterupted, haha. Been waiting like a kid for Christmas eve
Tamiya makes a smoke paint for windows as well as transparent yellow transparent red transparent orange in a transparent blue are great for lights and windows
LOVE this - I have a red version of this casting (unfortunately the clip in the back is broke and the casting separates at times). I love the color you chose, definitely looks like the owner has something hiding in that bad wagon! (A little too dark on the tint - but still looks good). I just wish Majorette when they have opening tailgates had "glass" in them.
Nice job !! You're not kidding about the custom wheels costing a pretty penny. I looked into getting some, for some cars I wanna do here in near future. I changed my mind fairly quick.
Car looks beautiful. Have you ever tried testing how new colors, techniques will turn out on scraps? Say flattening out a pop can to year out body colors, or maybe using some clear film to test out tints.
sweet job👍 I've been dropping M2 bodies on kings of crunch chaise. makes for a pretty sick monster truck.. if you like an impala monster truck anyways😝
Really loving these Euro castings lately, Majorette were lovely things in this era. Corgi did a similar 245 estate but the Majo is nicest. If you want to do one in a larger scale both Matchbox Superkings and Dinky made them - the Matchbox is the better version. Hoping there will be lots more cars like this, I'd love to see what you can do with the Matchbox VW 1600TL
Hello happy sunday, I did this volvo this morning! Hope you enjoy! Leave a like 🍺🍺👍👍
Awesome work man
I need to send you the new 79 Nova from Hot Wheels. I'd love to see you make it a pro touring mean machine.
Hi new sub Greatins from Panama City Panama 👋🇵🇦
Wow that is just a skake away from a Jurassic Park transport. Lovely work today!
The on-screen comments were hilarious in this episode. Nice work as always! Love those Matchbox wheels.
Majorette always had nice castings. Not so much lately. Great job on the stock look. Love it!
Sweet Volvo 245 DL Austin , perfect surf wagon 👌 .....
This Volvo looks like it can destroy a Lambo ! Keep 'em comin' !
I always was a big fan of ground effects kits on Volvo's also liked the old square body sedan back in the late 80's
Love the color and the limo tint looks awesome. Fits the car perfectly.
Lowered, LS swapped, tinted, AND surfboards! What's not to love? Great job bud!
a bunch of people un-subbed lol usually happens whenever I do anything that isnt American
@@DiecastResurrection There are Volvos in America. I'd love to have that wagon 1:1. Some folks may not recognize great work when they see it..
That Volvo is absolutely gorgeous! :D
Your like the Chip Foose of small scale! Love it.
I am looking all over the internet for this model !
Looking sweet ☺️ thanks Lee
Wagon came out great. Love the color
I fully tinted my Pontiac Bonneville dark tint. I was stoppd twice for it since i had the car. I loved it.

Those tints look awesome! The whole thing looks awesome! Thanks for posting.
No problem homie👍
I'm in love with this!
Looks rad, really smart color choice.
Now this is a Volvo!!!🍻
Looks like someone's first car. A Mom ride with some cool rims and blackout windows. Just missing the loud music and silver tip exhaust.
That was pretty cool. Majorette isn't where I would go... But Dazzam! That's awesome!
Great stance. Looks fantastic!

Great video, as always. I had a Volvo 245 DL Wagon and a 240 GLE Sedan.
Beautiful ❤️
Amazing details..so sharp 👌🏼
Nice. I watched a video a few days back. This guy built-up a 700hp 245dl.
It is amazing.
As an owner of what you call a wagon .. a 1995 Volvo 960 (estate as we say here in the UK), it's nice to see the swede brick get the DR treatment :)
More Majorettes please! I have a shelf full😃😃
This turned out really nice.
Very nice work as always this u know I love all your work u Do so cool thanks brother always Lee
Love this one!
Nice upgrade an paint
Love the old brick Volvos. Guess I just have a thing for boxy vehicles lol
Super Nice casting. I love theese old volvos. Dont have one myself, but i had the 1:32? When i was a kid. In my youth i've had 6 volvo 240's. To wagons,3 sedan 4 door, and one ambulance.
That looks so good 😎 The wheels and lowered combo with that color...Perfection 💯 I love it! 🥰 ❤
Way cool! And great 'save' on the tailgate.... definitely turned that lemon into lemonade! 👍😁👍
Room in the back for a two four, a set of blades and couple of sticks and a box of diecast for Resurrection!
The Volvo came out awesome! Love the color, stance and detail!
Very nice work sir.
I am not a big fan of pastel colored cars, but I make an exception for this one cause it be looking damn fine!

Paul Newman had a Volvo station wagon with a Ford 5.0 in it. It was on Chasing Classic Cars on MotorTrend
I like it,I like it very much!!!!
Blubb Blubb Blubb
Nice job !! You're not kidding about the custom wheels costing a pretty penny. I looked into getting some, for some cars I wanna do here in near future. I changed my mind fairly quick.
The Majorette Chevy Impalas are also nice, they go for a decent penny on Ebay, same for the 80's Ford Thunderbird they've also done.
Car looks beautiful. Have you ever tried testing how new colors, techniques will turn out on scraps? Say flattening out a pop can to year out body colors, or maybe using some clear film to test out tints.
badass !!!! 😊👍
sweet job👍

The quintessential dad car
Great Volvo wagon build. Austin damn it man is Jimmy on vacation bro? Lol...great content warm vibe from the south USA 🇺🇸
Surprised to see a video today. I would have figured with us getting up to a balmy -15c today you would be out mowing the lawn.
That things awesome! Very cool to see some euro cars :D
Everytime I post euro cars I see a noticeable loss of subs, including that volvo video lol
@@DiecastResurrection really?! why though haha
