Wonderful airline .....i live still in the shadows of Gulf Air ...me as a staff gave my best to all the three stations i worked ..Bombay the then name in 80s ,Riyadh,Dubai ..memorable years ...🎉
Gulf Air L1011 with its Golden Falcon livery is nice and memorable one which I saw at my young age when I visited to CMB airport to bid farewell to send off a relative. That image is still in my memory

I have flown Gulf Air numerous times. The old Bahrain airport was nice and cozy. Looking forward to flying through the new airport soon.
Happy 70th Birthday I loved my time in Bahrain in the 80s working for Gulf Air . Gulf Air was the best airline , The kingdom of Bahrain and the airline will always hold a special place in my heart .

Happy Birthday! I always had a soft spot for GF since starting reading Flight in late 70s. They always had an ad for aircraft for sale or crew needed. I still need to fly with you. I had a 23h stop the 4th dec 1983. BA from MCT-SIN got a bird strike, and a new plane had to be flown down from LHR. We stayed at a very nice hotel. We arr in SYD 24h late. Greetings from Norway!
Never travelled with GF in Gulf Aviation days but remember well the L1011's and 737's and was always impressed with the company.

Bahraini hospitality, the best in the world. I’m so happy and proud I had he chance to work for GF! It was the best time of my life.
Beautiful airline. I wish them all the very best in their endeavours. Gulf Air now has a spanking new hub terminal in Bahrain, a modern fleet of Boeing 787s and therefore should be able to become one of the most successful airlines in the Middle East when the COVID-19 epidemic is over !
I flew with Gulf Air from London Heathrow to Abu Dhabi. At that time they were flying all around in the Persian Gulf Arab states (GCC) & it was in the mid 90's. GF were flying with Lockheed on that route.

موفاهم ليش الفلم باللغة الاجنبية... يعني ميزانية الشركة منشفة ميزانية الحكومة. على الاقل كعرفان وشكر المفروض يكون الفيلم عربي ويترجم او يكون في نسخة آخرين باللغة الاجنبية.. لازم يكون في اعتزاز باللغة بس المشكلة حتى الوزير يتكلم انجليزي...شكرا شيخة هند وكبتن يوسف
طيران الامارات. اخذ حيز كبير في صناعة الطيران في الخليج. اما شركة طيران الخليج لها تاريخ عريق و يصح لهم يفتخرون فيه البحرينيين و الخليجيين

@@dod-rw9xl كان اسمها طيران الخليج العربي. بعدها ايران منعت طيرانها على اجوائها و قالت بنسقط اي طياره تابعه لهاذي الشركه اذا ما تغير الاسم من الخليج العربي الى الخليج الفارسي. وصلوا الى حل وسط و سموها طيران الخليج َ هاذي قصة التسميه للعلم فقط لا غير.
Pathetic airline , i wont recomend this to even my enemies. There customer service representative are actually paid for dis-service, while trying to solve the issue there representative actually got hostile towards me and didn't apologise for his behaviour.
