    I'm in the process of building my own so love to see the creativity...
    I'm on the fence because well I absolutely appreciate the ingenuity and building something yourself and saving thousands of dollars... On the other hand... Like you said in the video you built it over a weekend... And it Looks like it too. It's not bad, it's just everything looks kind of rushed thrown together. Super fast and not really embellished to give you that pro look .
    Only thing it would take is smoothing out some rough edges, throwing on a fresh even coat of paint and that's really about it bro 👍🏾

      Did you used a router at all or any special tools besides the pocket hole tool ? I’m pretty new at wood working 🤦‍♂️

      I only used a Table saw, a Miter Saw and Drill and Pocket Hole Jig (Kreg). I had some of the wood cut to length at my local Hardware (Home Depot) Store.

    Love your build and have a few ideas for tweeks. Can you send me your blueprint sheet for stand? Going to see if i can make my build in a weekend too. Thanks

      I did not use any type of blueprint. I just designed it from something I drew up on paper. But I will try and send you more information on the dimensions I use. I hope that will help you.

    Very very nice . I have flx 10. My idea is to put the laptop inside the column and put a usb c monitor in front of flx10 just to made a custom stand alone like opus quad. What do you think?

      I think your idea is awesome. It would be great to have a high resolution screen to see things more clear

    Great effort, good for you for saving yourself a lot of money, and it looks great. personally, I think the mobile djing movement has become a joke with this podium trend, now we have to be carpenters too, and bring a kitchen counter to events just to look good. you have to admit, it is getting out of hand.

    Are you building these for DJ’s, or would you rather not? I’m not a builder, but what love to have one for my Pioneer XDJ-XZ, or my Pioneer CRSS 12’s with an S11 mixer. Lets me know please, thanks

      I just built this for myself. Although it Looks hard, it is very simple and Only used a few tools. When I build my next one I will try to Video it to show how I put it together.
      But thank you for your comment.

      I was thinking, you could make swappable cutout tops for different controllers rather than have multiple podiums.

    • @biggecaps
      @biggecaps 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Cool but controller are in to different places

    • @technomikelyons
      @technomikelyons 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @biggecaps the custom swappable top would be cut for the shape of the specific controlker. And perhaps inside have lareger velcro areas to accommodate the possible locations of different controllers'feet.
