Really nice build! That t-slot is a game changer!
Great job one of the better home built consoles I’ve seen keep up the good work.
Much appreciated, amigo...
I like this design...I have the DDJ-1000SRT... I'm mentally doing LED lights on yours... playing with ideas and bright white paint and or TV mount for upper tier racks...
Thanks again for this informative video 🙂
You're very welcome...
the best one that i have seen so far genius..
Much appreciated, amigo...
Excellent work, I’ve been wanting to use extruded aluminum for a long time. Great design, very well thought out. DJ furniture is grossly overpriced. DIY is the only way to go
Thank you... I agree its extremely overpriced. But I've always preferred to diy my stuff. It feels good.
It's a nice console. Honestly I think I'm gonna give it a shot. But you will definitely get credit for the design. Looks good man!
I love your stuff! You should be selling this.
Thanks amigo...
Very nice work! I'm sorry alot of people will take advantage of your design. Hopefully they will give thanks and shout outs to you for all of the "pro tips" you have saved alot of time and money for some
Yeah, some folks have no honor... but as long as I can help some, I'm ok with that.
Thanks
I need one of these booths. Great craftsmanship.
I see alot of booths but yours is definitely the best!!. Wish I can just buy it.😊
I'm contemplating building another one to action on FB.
One of the best DIY consoles I’ve seen. Great job and thanks for sharing!
Much appreciated 🙏
Superb craftsmanship 👍🏿👊🏿🙏🏿
Extremely well done console!, Love the design and your attention to detail. I’ve built a few consoles. Yours gave me some great ideas for my next build. Thanks again
I'm happy to hear that... there is nothing better than using diy equipment and getting accolades for how professional it looks.
That's a great design! I love how you used aluminum to make it more lightweight! Great job!!
Thank you very much!
Dope! Huge upgrade. Enjoyed watching. Only recommendation that immediately came to mind is buy some shorter length right angle xlrs to remove cable tension
Thanks
NEXT LEVEL!! Amazing stuff!
Thank you
Great job on this one!
How heavy is this one compared to the other one?
If I had a trailer I’d want something like this 😂
This one is about 30 lbs... without all the gear... 75lbs fully loaded.
Putting in that DIY sweat #strongworkyo
Great Job. Thanks for sharing.
nice build!
Great Work Sir
Thanks
I like it alot
Dammm that’s nice will make and sell them 😊
Thanks... I'm working on a mobile friendly version. Should have something soon.
@dj_southern_comfort, you killing me man!!! This is your niche. You were made to make these consoles. You can bake so much money, more then you DJ for, because a lot of business will come your way. You want to know why? Consoles like you are making, cost way over $2,000 to $2,400, and you can undercut the greed that’s out there. If you get 10 orders a week, and you sell them for $600 to $700, you don’t have to DJ no more. I’m telling you sir, the people will come. I hope you reconsider.
I truly appreciate you, brother... I've gotten a ton of requests. I'll just say this, I have designed and built a one of completely portable and affordable console... I'm in the process of getting a patent. Stay tooned for a video coming soon.
Thank you
@@DJ_Southern_Comfort, yes sir, your welcome. I’ll be waiting.
Awesome 👏🏾👏🏾 what are the measurements for the top console please? What’s the height between the two plywood please? Did you have to trim the plastic to get it this height? Thank I bro!
It's a 24 x 48 inch top x 4" thick. The translucent material was cut to fit the 4" thick center piece with a mitter saw.
Thanks
You should try to sell your creation I like it , great job
I'm designing a dumb down version of it, you know, not everyone has a trailer. My goal is for it to be collapsible and portable.
@@DJ_Southern_Comfort i would like to buy one of those from you
@hmejia30 I will let you know. Thank you
Great job. Round over bit was set a little too deep leaving on a ridge on top but not super noticeable.
I did that on purpose... I like that look.
Nice clean job! What did you use for your laptop stands?
I found a surface speaker pole mount on Amazon and a 16" screw in speaker pole. I cut it down to my preferred height and fabricated/ adapted the tray of a laptop trypod.
I made the first one I just don't know how to send you a picture I have a video of it don't worry my friend you get all the credit for this build. Thank you. P.S. tell how to send or put a picture up my controller Rev 7
If you have Facebook, I recommend you join DIY DJ Booths... it's free, and you can showcase your built.
Hi firstly i love your videos, without doubt the most insightful ones online which is going a long way to help me build my stand, and love that you have shared the links to all the parts you have used. Question the tripod laptop stand, you mentioned this is modified. Could you share how, and what other parts you used? Did you still use the Speaker Mount Adapter with M20 Threading, Black? Any guidance is appreciated, thanks again for the great video!!
Thanks for watching, I'll put something together and share soon. I just had eye surgery, so it might be a few days.
@@DJ_Southern_Comfort no problem at all. I hope you make a full recovery, thanks for the quick reply.
@@djrroy1 I basically cut the top area of the tripod, about 3 inches below the knob. I then cut the Speaker pole to my desired length. Fortunate enough the tripod poles fits almost perfectly inside the speaker pole. I slid the laptop pole portion into the speaker pole and fastened with a couple of self-tapping black metal screws. You can use black tape to thicken the laptop pole to better fit (Snug) inside the speaker pole.
I hope this is clear as mud.

@@DJ_Southern_Comfort amazing thanks mate!
Great work. How heavy is the upper part without the base?
With controller, 25lds

@@bizzybdj imin the north Ft. HOOD area... South of Waco.
@@DJ_Southern_Comfort cool. Thouggt u might be closer. Im in lake charles. Anyway keep up the good work
That is awesome! Do you make them to sell? White? I'm looking at some now.
There is a white raptor liner... I don't make them for selling yet😊
You should sell it and make some money 👍👍
Outstanding work.anship. how many hours you think UT took you to get everything finished?
I took my time with this one and also spent a few days waiting for shipments. But It could be done in a couple of days, given that you have all the materials on hand.
Good work. Love it. I never use this type of mixer before "the Rolls MIX MATE 3 Mixers". That is just like a regular external mixer that runs from your controller to your speakers?
Correct, I run my controller to Ch1, my mics to mic ch 1&2, my Bluetooth receiver to ch3, and I have ch 4 open in case I need to plug something else in.
Oh, and I also run my main pc to ch3
@@DJ_Southern_Comfort thank you! I appreciate it.
@@DJ_Southern_Comfort also the Ectrusions, how many you used for the base?
If you're referring to the 80/20 brakets. You'll need 8 for the bottom and 4 for the top if your sliding panels in between the 80/20 bar channels. @@djc-lowdamixinwizard7728
How did you modify the tripod stand to fit the speaker pole? What did you cut the speaker pole with?
I cut it with a grinder and metal cutting wheel. I slid the one side into the other. I used some electrical tape and rapt it around the inner pole till it fit sung. I attached the with a 1/4 flat top self tapping screw.
WOULD YOU SELL YOUR FIRST CONSOLE?
Howdy, unfortunately, I already sold it to... facebook.com/share/p/KVDjn76hbuTPRBtX/?mibextid=oFDknk
