Hi everybody,
Doston Indigo airlines bharat ki sabse badi airline hai aur Indigo ke Indian aviation business ke aisi uchaiyon ko chu chuka hai ki aaj jahan Vistara Rs. 581 crore ke loss me hai, air India rs 7,000 crore k loss me hai, goair band ho chuka hai aur Indigo akele hai ₹8,172 crore ka profits kama raha hai!! Aaj jahan Vistara ke pass 70 Aircraft ki fleet hai air India ke pass sirf 144 Aircrafts hai, akasa ke pass 24 aircrafts hai Indigo ke pass akele hi 392 aircrafts hai!! Isliye doston bharatiye aviation market ko graveyard of airlines kahan jaata hai!!
Toh savaal ye hai ki itne tough market conditions me Indigo itna bada aur successful airline kaise bana?

Bro atleast make English subtitles available for non Hindi viewers
why is air Asia so cheap in international flight ?
Hindi me apki video dekhne pe hassi aa rhi hai
Boeing Bad 👎👎
I love IndiGo because of its on-time performance. It does not commit its passengers so much so that the bar becomes too high to achieve. It maintains its two big components for Indians- time and price.
Deccan Air was the first low cost no frills airline, it also had Airbus aircrafts, yet it failed. It would have been nice if you had compared Indigo's strategy with Deccan Air's strategy.
Deccan did not fail …janardhan sold it to kingfisher for a huge profit and diverted to business air service which is more profitable segment …..
@@123xyzabccba😂😂... someone got drunk
Indigo before venturing into airlines was a ticketing company. It was taking care of Air Deccan's ticketing. It stole the info of Air Deccan and started Indigo airlines.
@@paragvnit : what’s there to steal ……everything is open in the market …..Deccan was a no frills model and it succeeded because of cost cutting wherever possible and by doing so it made air travel accessible to the burgeoning indian middle class, whereas Kingfisher tried to provide service quality which was in between premium and economy class segment at competitive prices and did not succeed. This was the apparent reason behind its failure the non apparent could be many …
It sold the Business to Kingfisher at Bomb !
Flew 4 times in last 10 days... 3 of them were Indigo... they hv simply entered Indian society way deep...
I followed you Ganesh bhaiyo since 1 year. And I love your all the case studies.

Very informative case study. There are many airlines fall in Bangladesh market. There are Regent Airways, United airlines etc. Already running Novo Air facing profit loss problems.
I like how Indigo quietly entered the market without much fanfare. Deccan had the first mover tag, kingfisher's image was associated with its flamboyant founder, Go Air was backed by a big business house. Indigo just started showing up on the booking websites, there was not grand story or identity connected to it. It continued that way, non-chalantly for a few years as it grew slowly and steadily.
आपत्ति (objection) नहीं विपत्ति (state of being in danger)
शातिर (wicked) नहीं चतुराई से(cleverly)
तुम नहीं आप
Really awesome. I think ,Think School should make Hindi Videos as well.I have improved a lot from your case studies.... Really very good and like to watch more complex case studies form you.
Some more things to add here :
1. All female crew. Less take off weight, less fuel needed.
2. Faster TATs. Their planes turn back faster. Helps them achieving on time performance, less airport rents for parking, more money generated from these leased planes
Hi Think School this video is again a masterpiece as your other videos.
I have followed you since last 2 years and tbh I have learnt more than my college by just these videos.
Here's an interesting case study of big fail acquisition of 2 giant companies
Please make a video on BAYER MONSANTO ACQUISITION OF $66B . HOPING TO SEE THIS VIDEO SOON
Thanks Bhai tum ne mere bato pr gor Kiya or Hindi me video banaaya karo thanks Bhai ,❣️❣️
The best strategy adopted by Indigo is asset lite model. It means no heavy investment nd no liabilities on BS. Thus no need for bank loan nd no interst burden...
As a passenger indigo is everything that I stand against I have banned taking any flights on low cost carriers indigo is when I checked is a low cost carrier. Last year I spent 8.5 lakhs in flight ticket in full service airline.
But as an investor and my knowledge on airline being an avgeek Indigo looks promising I put my money on indigo and made profits.
As a dutch, It feels go to see IndiGo do well thanks to Pieter Elbers
We look forward to seeing even better content from you and are confident it will continue to improve.
Love this video, need more videos taping into aviation sector.
Your english version is the best , I know you are struggling with Hindi alot , as you told in the podcast with ranveer, it's just that we have seen your podcast in english, that's what we are use to...
One last feedback: you are the best youtuber..
10/10 for this case study video. Expecting many more detail case studies with different topics. 👌👍🕺😎🙌🙌🏆🕺
Prasad bhai how to invest in stock market sip pe course launch kro😢 sbse genuine aadmi ho aap❤
8:42 their are many india one customer that don't use airline for travel as they don't need to go at any place so urgently as of now... But i am witnessing that this is changing So i think that their is more market going to be in upcoming years for aviation sector
Indigo’s monopoly is dictating passenger harassment. From stalled plans on taxi to pilots denying additional flying hours or their ground staff having not customer centric behaviour. It’s a matter of time when people would change to other airlines for metro cities. It’s only tier 2 cities where people don’t have a choice that they would have wait for other operators to start.
Well thankyou I used it as an inspiration to present my casestudy in FMSR .

I travel with ryannair regularly in EU. i can say Indigo can become the ryannair for Asian continent 🙌
Indigo is far better than Ryanair pls don't compare it with low cost yet low standards airlines
This was a fantastic video and details were very well explained. Coming from a A320 experience I really liked the operational economics explained. Well done and feel free to connect if you guys need any information. Good going. 🎉
Such a fabulous video , learning lot of lessons
Indigo became the boss of all. 😎
Great attempt! I loved the content in Hindi, too❤
IndiGo deserves this success....
Thank you for this informative and motivative vdo. 👍
Never fly in a Boeing aircraft, airlines are playing with the lives of their passengers, pilots and cabin crew by having and buying more Boeing aircraft, since the merger of Boeing with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Corporation they are only prioritising share price and not their aircraft safety, If it's Boeing I ain't going 😢😢😢
😂😂😂
😮😮😮
Can you figure out the aircraft model before booking?

There are talks in the market that Indigo is going to procure Boeing 737 MAX which is prone to accidents. Suicidal to putting money on 737 MAX. Well explained bro. Nowadays the price of tickets have been hiked. Well explained bro. Awaiting more videos from your end as regards airline industry
really nice try in hindi... from English to hindi we are here❤
You deserve a seat in Indian politics
Loved this one!
Hindi is interesting one 😊
Keep uploading the videos and educate us.
Indigo operates on a point to point basis and not hub and spoke model. Hub and spoke is generally used by full service carriers to feed passengers onto their bigger aircrafts for international flights
Ganesh & Team!! keep grow keep shine
You should also add the things that happened during Covid and how the company came out of it
Indigo is no more low cost airline. I am a regular traveller most of time I compare prices with vistara and air india, indigo prices are equal to or Greater than. For international they are charging even more than world number 1 qatar airways.
I love Vistara ❤❤❤❤ they provide delicious food ❤❤
Ingigo deserve respect
Great video. In-depth knowledge. But I really wish there should be competition in the air industry. Shut airlines should be given relaxation by Indian government
Hub n scope model will use more fuel than than the point to point model for the same destination which will also incur some losed in fuel.
IndiGo is in a position where it can launch a full service carrier for international long haul services . . . a subsidiary airline . . . a IndiGo full service carrier will be just as sustainable as it's existing low-cost budget airline . . . IndiGo is India's version of Emirates . . .
Excellent
Great video! I’ve been following Think School since I was 17. However, I unsubscribed when they started getting involved in political drama and their content became biased. Now, I'm subscribing again with the hope that, since this channel is powered by Zerodha, the content will stay unbiased and free from political discussions, at least on this channel.
Bro video is really informative, please don't mind, you are way better in English

Sir par ek doubt hain ki
Jo indigo ne kuch saal ke liye rent pe liya aur uska kiraya wo dete hain aapne kaha is video mein PR INDIGO NE JO RENT PE LIYA TO KAB TAK UNKE PAAS RENT PE RAHEGA YA LIFETIME WO RENT PR HI RAKH SAKTE HAIN KABHI KHAREED NHI SAKTE PLANE KO ?

Can you make content on brands like Gucci, Armani, Prada. How did they make a brand and why people are willing to pay so much for their products?
Congratulations for starting the Hindi Podcast, few observations which might be of some use
1) while showing the new clips, use more clips of the Hindi News Channel, People will relate more
2) while addressing the Hindi Audience use works like "aap" "aapko", the Hindi audience will really connect with that &
3) 1st time I have noticed you have left the topic without explaining the reason in debt.
Wow, u know so much, I'm not even 20% being wt them for 17th years

20:18. Great video, but there maybe you mean Aapada me mauka, not aapatti me mauka 😂
Thanks for the Good analysis, but request to consider realistic examples, like used crude price as $36 and jet fuel price as Rs. 100 per Litre.
Hello!
We can't generalise the conclusion part of this case study for other industries.
For ex: Enhancing the customer experience of movie screening from low standard single screen theatres to premium multiplex theatres
Avg standard passenger mobility services by state transport units vs premium service by private players
Other trains vs Vande Bharat train
Same applies with car brands as well where the quality couldnt survive because of people preference over other things.
Brilliant case study
Thank u for this great lesson
Indigo was a good airline in the initial years it had good customer service, being on time reputation as well as good pricing of it's tickets. We need to know that once any company tastes success it is next on the ambition to grow. While growing it forgets customers, it's perception it had initially and being socially ethically responsible to the customer. Thats what happened to Indigo it forgot to maintain its consistency in how it was initially perceived by the customer. The very same customer who initially lauded the airline now prefers another airline. Growth, market share and profitability will always replace customer satisfaction, ethics and consistency of customer perception. But indigo has been smart in how it does business thats why they are able to sustain in such a volatile aviation market.
FROM LAHORE PAKISTAN ❤
thanku sir

Please make video on business model of small scale airlines such as Fly91 and star Air.
The founder of Indigo was the president and chairman of United Airlines in the USA
Being On Time. This is one of the factors why many business teams prefer traveling on Indigo.
Before Tata's took over Air India, there was no guarantee, if and when a flight would take off.
Those of who blindly believe Tata please do check the average delay of Air Asia India
@@divyeshthadaniAnd their quality services too which hasn't changed much even after they cameback to their original owner...The best phase where Air India which was riding success when it was under the leadership of JRD Tata becoming role model of Singapore Airlines thanks to their business model keeping them afloat in position and revnues
@@divyeshthadani Tata's own stakes across 3 firms, one of them being AirAsia. May be 5 to 7 percentage of the market.
This dimensions changes when things go international. And there us a real delay in getting new aircrafts.
Factor for growth will be connectivity followed by budget and the other things... that will win a bigger piece in the pie.
Great strategy.🔥
😊 very good case study
mazaa aa gya!!
Lesson 1 is not applicable that much in today's India(imo). That is because, the size, income, aspirations and behaviours of the upper middle class has changed drastically over the last decade. Think of cases like Blinkit where the customer is ready to pay(time and service is of paramount importance). I believe that Air India will bring back the much needed class that is needed in Indian Aviation industry that Kingfisher/ Jet Airways wanted to give at the wrong time.
Amazing analysis
Very informative video
