Another thing I worked on mentally is it's not necessarily about thinking about getting around the player, it's about doing whatever it takes to get up the field. I always just used my quickness to do something as simple as a head fake that allows me to move upfield as quickly as possible

The video is true. I played D1 football as WR (all American 2000). I could make first guy miss but I wasn’t good at making multiple defenders miss and that’s what league is looking for, athletes with high agility skill. I don’t believe however best way to learn this skill is to mimic other athletes, rather improve your footwork and BALANCE. Balance is what’s missing from traditional agility training and balance is key ingredient for being shift or agile. Look at foot ladder drills and notice how often feet together in all patterns. Also missing from traditional agility training is a skill called touch and control. I am a certified expert in agility training and there are vids on my channel to help with training yourself to be elusive. I knew traditional agility training was incomplete 20 yrs ago.

From the clips of juking it seems like theres a little trend. Out of the clips, i noticed that, most of the time, the ball carrier juked towards the defender. Lets say the ball carrier was running straight and a defender comes up on the left. The ball carrier then makes the defender think that they are going to go to the right because that is where open space is but they actually end up juking them and go left. This makes sense though because the defender would then have to shift their momentum to the to the other way. This isnt all the time but it seemed like it worked a lot of the time. If a defender is completely squared up and you and straight aheas your gonna have to do somethin special to juke them.
Well If someone is running full speed at you, Going the opposite way at them will force them to stop, but going the same direction causes them to keep momentum. All in the science

I have tried that but only took the open space because most defenders I have went up against would think I'm going the opposite from the open space
To juke well u need to identify where space is as the the defender will be playing to protect the space and is usually shifting his weight towards the expected alley; the sideline so to juke that u just move opposite his momentum that usually works if he is still get his momentum moving one way by faking movement in one direction in a slow way to provoke a quick reaction then spin opposite/ cut back and go opposite away from the defender’s momentum

I was a small Quarterback, so I didn't wanna get hit much at all. However, I could run. If there was too many players around I would prolly slide, especially if I had gained a few yards. However if there's 1 or two players around I just juked them out...

slow down a tiny bit before they come up on you. then juke and sprint after your past them, very complicated but once you have it down it works almost every time
