I wish more people were less stuck at level 3 because of being indoctrinated by their society. I know this sounds like me moaning, but you'd literally get killed in some countries for questioning their very questionable understanding of the world, so I'd rather stay away from it all together although it makes me very sad.
I think the unfortunate aspect of "getting out of" level 3 is that, like the video says right away, it takes a lot of energy and a healthy holding environment that also has adequate challenge. Most people don't get this at home, much less at work. These environments are not especially common. I myself am in such an environment now and really need to make sure I use it as much as I can, because I've been in many companies and never felt it before.
I'm stuck at Level 4 and I hate it. I need an environment that can hold me while I travel up and there doesn't seem to be any such thing. Not a "business" or "company". Business is about making a profit. And that requires appealing to people's lower impulses because they are dependable and strong. In both employees and customers. And making a profit is a 1st Level function anyway, at its core. Business isn't going to help move people upward - as much as the Neo-Libs want it to - and it can't transform itself to become something that does fulfill this function. We've had since the 80's to see if it can and it failed. We've run out of time now. My guess is that the next phase will be what is left after everyone who is ready to function at Level 4 just leaves all Level 3 and lower contexts behind and loosely organizes themselves in temporary groups to reach small goals. Corps and Govt's will run out of things to do because stuff will be getting done with less drama and less waste and destruction without their help thankyouverymuch. It won't be any kind of Grand Scheme, but will instead simply be people gettin' shit done that needs to get done - something that most people can't even imagine right now because they've been conditioned to try and figure out who's job it is to get something done and ask them to do it and then go back to watching GOT. I won't live long enuf to see it. I'll die of exhaustion and despair long before that.
