    This video is my introduction to your channel. Sparks of excitement and inspiration is the vibe I get from this video. I feel like running straight back to my studio and spend the whole day playing with the digi.
    But then again that would have been a thing of 2003 simpler times when there were no bills to pay and no people who depend on you. ;-).
    Love your music and style. Keep it up and thank you for sharing your knowledge.
    Much love from Belgium.

      man... first of all thank you for the kind words...
      second, I felt it in my chest when you said "no bills and no people who depend on you" ahaha damn I feel you bro.
      but the second part of that sentence is kinda lovely tho...

    If you don't want to quantize and prepare loops, just use repitch machine, resample it in Digitakt at any tempo you like then use the Slice machine and the slices will be at the perfect tempo for your tune. Cheers!

    Dope stuff, thinking about getting one of these or something else to start my hardware journey.
    Biggest thing I'd like it a nice way to work with breaks as I'll just do everything else in DAW. Any suggestions?

    • @BIGUMAMI
      @BIGUMAMI  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      honestly, if you wanna have more flexibility, I'd suggest a SP404MKII, which is way cheaper by the way!

    this one pretty good. didn’t know that lfo bitrate would be so effective
    edit: a lotta great stuff in this one. mind telling me how you got to a lot of the fundamentals? do i just need to google characteristics of jungle and then fit the digitakt in? never tried to make something like this

    • @BIGUMAMI
      @BIGUMAMI  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      aw man, i've been producing jungle for years now - it's just a matter of adapting whatever I did in a DAW on the Digitakt. I see you also commented on my other video about ps1 jungle, that's a good place to start!

      definitely a computer ahahah! this channel is mostly about hardware, but I might start another one dedicated exclusively to software.

    if you wanted to do a little hardware setup you would need about 4 digitakts as they dont have individual outs

    • @BIGUMAMI
      @BIGUMAMI  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I mean, yeah, that'd cost you a pretty penny though ahah!

    Software is much more deeper then the digitakt ofcourse but the hands on tactility and portability of this guy is pretty sensational.

    • @BIGUMAMI
      @BIGUMAMI  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      yeah I mean, a DAW will allow you to do pretty much whatever the hell you want, but I gotta say, overbridge works like a charm and I find myself super inspired when using the digitakt. so there is something to be said about the value of a hybrid setup where you get started on hardware and finish up in software!
