When you get a car, its "some assembly required" but it doesn't faze you, you just take it in stride and getter done as larry the cable guy says. I am proud of your work ethics. Not many guys see it done before they put it in gear to go around the block. Hell, if you see a stop sign, you can stop or give it some gas and smoke the tires. You can be proud!!

Congrats on getting it into a driving car. I've watched and loved this build from the beginning. You've done a great job on it. I've seen others convert 4 drs to 2drs and you've done it the best. Do yourself a favor and find a electronic wiper motor for it. Every time you touch the gas pedal you will pretty much loose your wipers. I've had a couple of vacuum wipers and they suck. 55 came with the vacuum or you could get a elec motor as a option so they aren't very hard to find. Good luck and keep videoing. To open and close your front cap , look into a set of overhead door openers , you can back load the Pistons to close in , 8 seconds , they worked well on a rebuilt Vette.
DDspeed congratulations on the 55 great achievement I think you would’ve really had a quicker builded if your building the car in a outside garage,,,,,, But everything takes time and a little inside garage just crank in a little better of the builded,,, Hey got one question who is aftermarket wiring harness did you use for the car ?????????????? could you get back to me on that one,,,, When get some time. Let’s see you try to burn those tires off the car .... I wanna see some smoke and not from the motor,,,, junkman do... Good job , took me a few days to wire my old 56's , had to sort out the old generator to alternator stuff back in the 70's
You have put a lot of time and skill in this 55’ , I keep forgetting that it started out as a four door . Nice work on the conversion and mods 👍

You have to put same spacer on the front but don't need vac. On the front. It makes different between low end tourqe and high end tourqe
