    For everyone talking about how he cheats them out of money, this is how the game is played, it is up to the seller to figure the value of his items, and it is up to the buyer to get them as low as possible. If the seller doesn't know the value, then the buyer wins, and vice versa.

    • @keiko3781

      @A B then you might make a spark of argument from the seller to give it back. Depend on the seller if he’s an asshole

    • @realmofoz
      @realmofoz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +58

      Exactly. All these people saying he's ripping them off, no he's not. He gave what the seller wanted. If re-sellers offered what an item is worth well they wouldn't make ANY $, they would lose $. In this business you don't offer a price, you ask the seller what they want for it. Then you offer a price somewhere on the low and gauge the situation if they want you to make an offer. These people don't get how the game is played. Knowledge is power, and how the game is played is equally important. They are just trying to make a living, just like everyone else. These people don't think twice about Walmart or some other name brand store selling them an XBOX game for $60. If you ask me that's a rip off.....here is the deal, if the seller wants like 70%+ of what an item sells for on Ebay then they can go sell it on Ebay and deal with all the overhead costs that comes with it. By the time you sell a $100 item, it becomes like $40 after everything is said and done.

      Oh my goddddd 😂😂😂😂😂 this’ll actually be the first time I ever told ANYONE this, but boiiiii I tell ya what!!!! When I done blow a while back (yes I am an addict, & once an addict always an addict, no matter what. But I am not an active addict!) I swear me and my buddies all stayed up one night just ripping lines after lines, and i had court the next morning…. (You already know it’s bout to be crazy)😂 so, court time rolls around and I am still hitting lines. Just me and one of my buddies at this point. I needed to shower cuz I know I looked like a crackhead FOR SURE, so I took a shower and whole time just feening for a line… I can’t go 5 mins without craving another bump or line once I’m actually high. So after the shower I hurry and go back in the man cave and tell my boy if he will you go to court with me? Surprised to hear his answer, he said freaking yes… so we both go to court. High as crap. Feening for another line. Feeling like I’m dying. Sniffling the whole time. Feeling absolutely miserable. Sat thru the ENTIRE court hearing for everyone, & I’m the last one in there. But forreal I shit you not, the judge asked EVERYONE who came up to the stand, “Are you currently under the influence of any drugs or alcohol today?” & he’s NEVER asked that before from what I’ve seen. So I know it was cuz of me and my boy, we were both sniffling the wholeeeeee time so I know people noticed. I was just gonna say I was sick if he did ask me why I was shaking and nervous and sniffling… lol😂 but yeah ended up being the last 2 people sitting in that court room and my public lawyer told me, “buddy, your court time is at 1pm, not this morning at 9am…” AND THEN TOLD ME THIS, “you might want to fix that problem you’re having with your sniffing too, it’s a little bit too excessive.” Then told me to be careful and to make sure I’m back at 1pm. I was so scared. To go back. But I did, by myself this time. I took another shower and a short nap and woke up, & was totally fine! Sorry for the long comment but thought it’d be kinda funny to share.
      I did only tell this story cuz imagine if I did tell that judge that day, “Yessir I am under the influence right now, no doubt about it, & then say I’m kidding..” he would’ve had me arrested immediately but maybe not!. 💀💀😂😂 but who in the world would say they’re high!! Only people who are lying! Maybe that coulda saved me. But In the end, God saved me by making sure I didn’t have court at 9am and making sure it was at 1pm! (:

      Talking about each item immediately after the clip is better for a few crucial reasons. First of all viewer attention span. Many viewers won't be able to sit through 20 minutes of just flee market wandering, so taking the time to explain each find immediately after will retain the attention of the viewer and also satisfy the need for education sooner, generally just making the video worth your time spent

    We have had one to two storage units since about 2002. I calculated that we have probably spent $70K over the years. Well enough was enough. It was worth it to just let the stuff go in one of the units just because we were sick pf paying storage and didn’t have the time to sell the stuff since we work full time. We had a big ole garage sale on Saturday and honestly it was fun watching people get so excited over what has been a weight around our necks for so long. Did we make as much money as we could have? Absolutely no. But so freeing to be down to just one unit!

    That bell you picked up brought back memories. I grew up in the 60/70s in a neighborhood in Memphis. That’s when Memphis was a small town. All us kids would play outside. There was about 10 of us kids. Our parents all had bells. At dinner time they would ring the bell, or if we were summoned to return home, each bell had a different tone so we knew who’s bell it was ringing, and could holler out to the kid who parents were ringing. Hey , it’s time for your dinner! Or hey your parents are calling you. It was a fantastic neighborhood to grow up in, it blows my mind that as a kid we lived out in the county. Now that neighborhood is in the center of the city. You would have to drive about an hour further out to be in the county now. The lady next door told me that when she moved to Memphis in the 50’s they could drive the hour drive to the airport and never pass another car. It’s hard to believe because now Memphis is huge with big traffic jams. But with more people that means more to thrift and more profit, lol. Leslye

    WATA is super controversial in the video game collecting. Some collectors just won't buy anything WATA graded since their grading isn't always transparent. Personally I'm on the fence about them, I have seen some things that received high grades that most certainly didn't deserve it and then you have their founders selling games on eBay at astronomical prices to artificially inflate the cost of certain games.
    So just word of warning, use it if you really feel like it will market your stuff better but also understand that there is significant controversy as well within your target customers.

You have to take pictures of the item, you have to write a description of the item then ship the item. Even on whatnot you still have to clean the item and show the item then ship the item. I’ve never seen anyone hustle as hard at making reselling their main source of income than Josh and Hayley!! You go guys!! Keep buying, keep selling, keep teaching others and keep smiling!! A Long story! If I had a way of taking the larger stuff or multiple items when dumpster diving, I would. When I found out that grocery store was closing, I got to go 3 times and found a good amount of stuff, on the last day I was able to go, the dumpster was filled with lots of TV dinners from cheaper to Hungry Man, I did take alot, although had I been able to take more I would have. My house is 4 rooms, 5 if you count the hallway and its separated by 2 connected lines, the kitchen, bathroom and hallway are on one line, while the living room and bedroom on the other line. I come close to burning the house down cause of this fact when I put 2 heaters on the same line and overloaded the electricity and it even put my refrigerator out of commission for about a week to get the cord replaced and that was not fun. I would like to have the electrical upgraded to brand new wiring with multiple connections from the breaker box, so that will never happen again, just no money. Cause of this fact I can not heat the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and even the hallway, I choose to do it this way in hopes my dogs will stay warm, yet those drafty holes in their room make it hard to keep it warm, so if you are a praying person, pray that GOD intercedes, one day I may just want to leave if that's GODs plan, I would move if I could in a way, the noisy horns that pass through hurts my babies ears and they will wail in pain and if I had the money to buy or even rent a place that would accept dogs, I would consider moving, yet most rent houses I checked on, up to $600+, they also don't allow dogs and I get a total of $726 in social security. I probably could get a low income apartment, however most will not let you have large dogs, Charcoal and Mandy are Labradors and I do not want to get rid of them, someone threw them out like garbage and I can NOT bring myself to do that to them, they are my BABIES! I LOVE THEM TOO MUCH! I don't know what plans GOD has for us. I hope I can figure that out and move on if that was GODs plan. I wanted to stay in this house because it was my grandmas house, being it was historic I wanted to live here all my life, yet there is no stores close and I would have to bike up to 15 miles or more if I wanted or needed to go to town, it takes around 2 hours one way, 4 hours both directions and no bathroom stops unless you find a tree to hide behind and no real way of carrying dumpster finds or even purchases for that matter. Because I am so POOR, I don't even see a vehicle in my future and no way of driving. Things just happen that we can't explain that only GOD has the answers to. I would like to do better, much better than I am now. My life has crashed down on top of me, though I haven't suffocated yet, sometimes it feels like it, I HOPE GOD INTERCEDES SOON IN OUR LIVES! HOPE YOU HAVE A TRULY BLESSED DAY and NIGHT!

    New style of content for me but at the end of the video the thing that stuck out the most was the fact that I've never seen someone record a car wash before. I kinda liked it.

    What I loved the most about this video is you can actually see in real time how these resellers who have to broadcast everything they do to the whole world are just cutting off their own noses. The next bell like that she finds, guaranteed she'll want $50 for it, along with anything else she sees you talking about in your videos. And most likely she told ALL the other sellers at this Flea Market about you, your camera, and your TH-cam channel, so next time they'll all be marking their prices up.

      Distributors know exactly how much stores retail their product for and they don't try marking up. That's just not how business works.

    Saw a green Nutty Mad on the table with the Star Wars figures. It fell over when you picked up the Staypuffed Marshmallow man. As for what I've seen about getting low prices from people, that's the nature of flea markets. If they sell low that's their problem. They want to move this stuff, not haggle on prices. Goodwill doesn't haggle. You are doing fine. Being on TH-cam people know your face.

    Busy day with great finds to sell. Love your videos and learn a lot. Also love your down to earth vibe and your "appreciate you" to everyone. As for the car wash, it's not relaxing for me. Was in one once and the guy in front of me put his car in reverse. I was getting sandwiched between two cars and couldn't do much. Started honking like crazy and the attendant shut it down just in time. Who would of thought a car wash could be so difficult lol.
