1970 Fiat 500 Revival - WILL IT RUN after SITTING for OVER 30 YEARS?!

We bring home a bargain basement 1970 Fiat 500! Can we get it running? First we have to figure out how to start the bloody thing! Does anyone here speak Italian?........

That was some pretty slice diagnosic thinking on the carburetor. now to kind a elderly Fiat repairman who speak english to find out how to set the timing and adjust the valves. Great job.

Why we want to watch you guys? Because you are funny together and you do interesting stuff! Excellent work getting that engine going. I wonder what the original colour was, the red looks like a repaint without the underlying paint not properly removed, hence the flaking. Could be that the original colour was red too, but faded by sunlight, happened a lot with those cars I seem to remember (I grew up just seeing faded Fiats, or maybe I needed glasses even back then). I also saw blue which confuses me even more, I will have to retreat to my safe space to process all this.

It’s a Czech Republic (not Czechoslovakian) license plate from between 2001 and 2004. So if the plates are original it can only have been sitting for at most 22 years 😉 it’s also a Prague license plate.
Ps I was a passenger in its successor the (allegedly roomier) Fiat 126 twice. I was sitting in the back and couldn’t fold the front seat back to the normal position.
