thanks to you I bought vvdi and bimtool and I don't regret my choice, I make duplicate keys without any problem whether it's e or f series. very helpful channel thanks greetings from poland!
I've had a big key problem from the day I bought the car. It only came with one key. Then when I was working on the car I lost the actual physical part of the key (The cut part) and now only have the one working key fob and no actual key. (I went crazy looking for it but I believe I threw it into the garbage while cleaning the car out). I never lose keys. But I guess there's a first for everything. I've bought some key fobs and keys on ebay that have the chips in them with blank keys. So next I will have to get them cut and programed. Such a big hassle! I guess I'll have to send my cas in to someone to cut the key now. That sucks! lol.
Any lock smith with a similar tool this BIMtool, will be able to get you sorted. The tools use the working fob, to decrypt the key data in the CAS. Think of it as a check sum backwards calculation. However once they have decrypted the data, they will then have the key cutting code. Which a real lock smith can put in to his cnc key cutting machine and produce the blade.
Hello. I have vvdi bim tool but not read cas3 on the table. reading via obd connector vvdi + cas3 are you using an additional unit? how do i start vvdi bim to read cas3
I tried for many hours and many different setups. The only way i can get bimtool to connect on bench is when there is a JBE wired in to the setup. Looks like bimtool will not connect direct over k can, it needs d can which is what the JBE sorts out.
andrew do you think you could program a e92 335i dme to fit in a e90 320i ? i am toying with the idea of putting my turbo barra in my e92 instead of my e90 320i will the 335i dme work on a 320i body loom? that is the question cheers glenn
Unfortunately not. The 320 will run on a MSV80 dme not a MSD80. They different physical hardware for different outputs and functions on the motor setup. That said if you were swapping a 320i motor in to a 335i shell, it would connect to the body loom. But you would need the 320 engine loom.
Hey there do you have the part number of the jbe module you are using I’m thinking the one I pulled from wrecked car is no good, I can communicate with cas modules perfectly with vvdi cas cable but if I try using the test platform cables like yours I can only communicate with the dme and I’m assuming it’s because the jbe is not translating the slower 100 kbs to 500.
61359226328-01 ended up working for me with the blue plug closest to the edge instead of in the middle like yours, pulled it out of a 2010 3 series everything all working now.
As mentioned. I wouldnt rely on it. However, if you learn how to fix them cas modules when cheap tools brick them, that is the way to go forward. VVDI bricks are normally fixable through OBD with winkfp.
So we bought another Bricktool... 😂😂😂 after watching all these programming videos I'm just calling e90_shitbox. In all fairness that one looks legit, so people asked about the update and not the new Dave????
Thank you for all your hard work!

Thank you for doing all of this.
Could you show what you did or how to make your bench set up? Thanks
Got the mad scientist look goin on. This stuff is way beyond me but still interesting
You my Sir are a mad genius 😂👍🏻
Dear where are I can buy all connector wire?
🤯 Mind blowing stuff
All this flashing is making me Randy, Andy!
hahaha
have you seen a surging idle with an N54 and solved it before ? Can email logs and codes. Been kicking my tail for half a year can’t drive the thing……
Not personally. It could be so many things. Let us know when you get to the bottom of it.

Hi mate. I try already is well many connections on bench but still not successful.
can u please share your connection.
I have a bench harness that uses jbe module. Not from vvdi, you need a jbe to connect to the cas with vvdi2 or bimtool
What about Cluster virgin with VVDI prog can we do that
If we can would u make a video whenever u can
Thanks very much

Not from the KM matching between KOMBI and CAS it's from the VIN not matching
its both
Can I trust it to do Obd cas 3 9389116 to make keyless go Obd setting you said on 4 for downgrade

Can the vvdi prog program new keys?
Vvdi is an programmer it read and write. Not more
No it can't do much with the data, it can only read the chips and write back to them.
Vvdi prog works super, it's mega tool
I hope so.
Vvdi prog best 🔥🔥🔥🔥😊

Not a single soul has mentioned "new dave"
What happened to your hair looks like the electricity hit you
Lol it’s the stress of dealing with vvdi products
