The word "key" was used so many times it's starting to sound like a fake word 😂 I'm kinda following what's happening here but it's well over my head, you have the patience of a Saint trying to sort this stuff out
@@zinchenkoroman9447 I know its not incrypted from the factory... I'm saying you use the bin tool or most readers for that matter it tell you what type of CAS it is
The cas was definitely update to the istap version. The tool is supposed to be able to downgrade, but it fails everytime. Thats what lead to the eeprom method.
You should never overwrite an already existing key position. It just doesn't work. Whatever key is inserted first after writing it back to the cas is the key that is going to take that position. The other key(s)on the same position will not teach in. If you don't write the eeprom back the original key on that position will be the only one to work. It's true that a comfort access cas module can only have 2 CA keys in use but that doesn't mean they have to be at position 1 and 2. If you had disabled the key 1 before programming the new CA key, and would have programmed it to position 3 it would have worked if it was actually one of the few good chinese CA keys. Also that non-CA key you can unlock with bimtool and the cas eeprom dump so it can be programmed again to another cas module ;)
just clicked go. but I don't care what happens in this vid. I got a Little into this (R270 to read my fobs) until I Found my cars are CASS3+ and CASS4? so I am only getting keys from the dealer in Seattle :( GOOD FOR YOU MATE! whatever happens. - Comfort Access is its own beast of issues -It would be great to have one fob for all my cars.

I went out and bought a black one bassed on the videos...I guess no one watched them! LOL!
Unfortunately with ohhrlys blow up we have put the rotors on the back burner. Which is a shame.
can u see mhz frequency
Can I code one key to work for more than one vehicle?
Not with out a fair bit of hackery.
maybe your cas was updated, so it became cad +++ crypt, you need to roll back the firmware to the original
the tool would have told him that
@@bugsy791 you need to look OBD the units firmware to see if it has been updated. The cas is not crypt from the factory.

868 or 315 or 315lp
was thinking that...maybe one of the cars is a german car{868}
I can only see 315mhz when I test with bimtool. I think it’s correct as it works on other cars I have done from the same supplier
