  • The Catholic Church has been rocked with allegations of sexual abuse carried out by priests for decades. Now survivors of abusive nuns are speaking out. Patricia “Trish” Cahill and Anne Gleeson were teenagers when the abuse began. Even though these two survivors grew up in different cities, the grooming and manipulation conducted by the nuns they say abused them sound eerily and tragically similar.

I was raped by my step brother from the age of 5 until my 14th birthday. He was 16 when it started. Almost nightly.. my mom let him do it and told me I better not tell bc I will be the one to jail. He would dress in a clown costume and hide under the bed or in the closet. I'm still screwed up in the head. I have 3 son's now, ages 18,14 and 9. And I've been told I'm too over protective of them.. that may be so, but I can't help it. I'm 36 now, I still hate my mother, who btw, still talks to him and come to find out they've been sleeping around even back then.. I hate them! I'm still scared to use a closet and my mattress is on the floor so nothing can get under there. I know people will laugh, but I tried to open a closet and I've tried having my bed off the floor and still can't do it. Also my middle son was born on my rapist birthday.. My anxiety gets bad and I have nightmares. Sorry I'm just rambling on.. somehow I forgot for a moment I was on TH-cam.. hmm, maybe I needed to vent a little and didn't realize it.. thanks to whoever is reading this, that you actually took the time to read the whole thing. Hope everyone is doing great in these times. Love to all and keep safe

Shelley DeWitt so true bc A little boy the same age as my youngest daughter would come over and play. I had to put a end to that the moment my daughter called me and said the little boy and the girl his cousin had tried to sexually harass her and my step son. I was at work crying bc I never heard such hurt like that from my child and not to mention she was crying when she was telling me how uncomfortable it made her feel.
Also being a victim myself of child abuse and rape as an adult it made me feel very angry bc I know the effects that it does to a person. It’s a shame that ppl may not believe it but a lot of kids can also become predators at a young age and then as adults what they turn all the way into.

law school ? most the system is occult created and run . why do you think we get summons to court like one summons a demon. Cause we are considered already dead in the eyes of the courts. We "rise" for the judge like the dead rise from the graves after being summons. You and me own nothing , we can't cause we are dead. Everything is owed by our "persona" we are given on our birth certificate. That's why when filling out official papers one signs at the bottom where it's labeled "your persons" . Ones persona is in Caps on your birth certificate as it is registered as a franchise of the corporation of the united states of america. Our persona is not own by us but those who rule over us. However if one is born within the controlling occult ; their name is not in all caps as they are considered alive like the judge and they legally own their property. There is of course soo much more i cant remember off the top, including many terms and procedures within the legal system. There are many judges and DAs in on it and some defence lawyers who regularly have favors which are paid for to let people off. I know most would not believe all this but consider what you may be getting mixed up in as you would always be an outsider and always be at a disadvantage when working cases. but if you do carry on ... good mo fo ing luck.

As someone who has had a bad experience with nuns. Let me tell you why. When I was younger I was taken to a missionary Baptist church school and I was kinda new and I was young, I had anxiety at a young age so back then before leaving class, everyone was supposed to pray the Lord prayer but I was new so when I saw the person who was supposed to pick me up from school was standing outside, I got up while others were praying because I desperately needed and wanted to go home until a nun pulled me and then went and locked me and herself in a closet and forced me to pray while she held me by my coller and the other hand a candle. Every since then I see nuns as something else than nuns.

For all the pain they cause they will not be judged, because they are animals, blabla, they kill to survive and crap, and in fact it's our sin that makes them do it.
As i see it only applies to humans that they will suffer in your invented hell because they had a bad day, they did a mistake, or they got born at the wrong place, but other shit causing pain for years will not be judged, Not to mention, they can just apologize to jesus and enter his "party", and be forgiven, as criminals.

It is indeed a problem. But what should happen is compare their actions and sayings to God's words. Not all priests say or do the right thing. They preach wrong stuff and make people believe in things that are untrue. And you need to have a certain knowledge about your religion to point out the flaws of those bad teachings. I get so much the woman of short hair when she said the nun ruined her spirituality, her sexuality her life... I've been abused from men and women, but been abused from the same sex changes you in a different way (at least for me and I could see that for these women too). This kind of abuse from men or woemn always makes you think either it was a relationship or that it was somehow your flat, but abuse from the same sex makes you doubt about your sexuality even when you're just a little girl. I'm chrstian, and sometimes I struggle with my faith and sexuality because of those events, they really took away my innocence and it's been so hard to take it back.
Anything wrong, like this, always swists how things should be, me being abused by women, my head tried to convince me I liked women, which is not my case. When I realized this it made me so free, I finally understood why I felt like that and that feeling stopped. A void was truly filled by knowing the truth.
If your went through something like this, please, don't give up, I know is the hardest battle, but you can heal, and even forgive. Churches did me wrong, but God didn't, he'll make justice.
I hope this can help someone.

But I especially get pissed off by overly “nice” “feminine” “polite” women who are weak because they are the doormats who let this abuse happen to their children and stay silent (usually done by the husband or boyfriend). I’m a woman but I only have male friends. I also joined the army.

    • @zephyr056
      @zephyr056 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

Susie Young No I are not saying that the women are not currently feeling pain that is real. What I said is if they had not got it rammed down their throats that they were victims then they probably would not have seen the relationship with the nuns as a problem. If the therapist had told that they were lucky they had received love from the nuns then the women may have went through life with fond memories of the nuns. It seems that Ann's problems could have been linked by her family not approving of the relationship with the nun and trying to put a stop to it. And Trish' said that she thought her problem was caused by being raped by her priest uncle. (The section where the women tell how they defended the nuns starts at 9:00) Sometimes stress and anxiety can develop for no reason at all and then people try to find something to link it to.
There are some religious women who are told they must wear a mask over their face and if someone tore the mask off they would feel stress like they had been raped, so it seems those in control tell people what they should be stressed about.
Also if you carefully watch this video I do not think the contact went past hugging and kissing in bed. And the mention of kissing in the diary did not mention if the kiss was only on the cheek. The purpose of this video is to make the nuns look evil. And if touching of the girl's breasts or vagina had happened it would have been mentioned.

I had worked at a school run by Sisters of Mercy nuns. A cover up needed to take place so a false report was placed in my file to transfer blame to me. At a later stage the head nun must have felt guilty that I was damaged by lies so she told me a story about white lies. She did not admit to a lie or say what the story related to but it was obvious to me. She said that if a lie was for the overall good of the community it was called a white lie. (So it was for the good of the community for me to be damaged to protect the nun's holy image) The nuns boast about how Jesus came to earth to get crucified to take the rap for what mankind was said to have done. But the nuns wont even take the rap for what they were responsible for. But they would rather lie about an innocent man and get him to take the rap. If people wished to read my story about that google white lies test blog and google innuendo test blog.

Your mind would be screwed up. If only you could experience what I went through for the full 13 years and more. I wanna see how successful your life is after your done being tortured for that long. . It will only be 13 years worth. You can handle it right? No big deal. You can be the poster child of psychology and show us all how to just ignore it and overcome. Children dont get to choose how their mind reacts to abuse. Some kids minds cant take it and their mind fractures. To blame it on them when they didnt choose any of it is sick. You sound like my abusive mom who said my brother wasnt responsible for what he did to me.

Oh you sweet young ladies - I am so sorry for everyone that suffered so much evil. FAITH is believing and trusting in what you haven't seen. Place your hurt, anger, rage, tears and yourselves in Jesus' Hands. Put your faith in Him - not in people. In the Holy Bible, Jesus says "you can talk to Me as though I am with you like a friend" Younglings, I've done that - His shoulders are broad and strong enough to cry on, broad enough because a lot of people have and are doing just that. I include myself - I've been talking to Him for many years now and if anyone should hear you talking and they can't see anyone with you and are asked "who are you talking to?" Be bold and tell them "Jesus" - and keep walking and talking - He will help you heal emotionally and spiritually. Trust in HIM.

NO kidding...ever hear of that film noir actress, Veronica Lake? She said herself that a priest asked her to sit on his lap so he could tell her a joke. He then put his arm around her waist and grabbed her breast, then put his other hand under his skirt and put his fingers under the strap of her panties...she implied he did something further but she didn't clarify what exactly. (And this was back in the 1930s.)
