In highschool Jimin was excellent in both sports/gymnastics/PE and academics (especially math and science, the best member after RM), and was the ”Class President”. Above all, Jimin was (still is) legendary, an absolute top student at ”Busan Highschool of Arts” and was majoring in Modern/Contemporary Dance. He was exceptional and entered at the top (no.1) of All classes, including All students of both genders, in All majors (Dance, Music, Arts). Normally students majoring in Music or Arts enter at the top, so it’s very rare for a dance-majoring student to enter at the top. At one of his teacher’s wedding he got to do a solo dance performance. He could’ve had an International career, but his dream was to become a singer.
His highschool friend told us that Jimin was famous and popular in school. Apart from his extraordinary talent, he had many friends due to his nice, symphatic personality. He was popular with girls who once after his performance started shouting his name, tore down the stage and chased to the toilet.
Jimin’s WIDE RANGE and brilliance in multiple genres from hiphop to contemporary and classical ballet etc is astounding. He’s the most versatile and best idol dancer we’ve seen, one of the greatest dancers in the global music industry. He is considered the top dancer from the 3rd generation Kpop groups. He’s known for his core strength, perfectly angled body arcs, prominent moves, impressive flexibility, fluidity and smoothness, his extraordinary stage presence and confidence, and his fascinating duality on & off stage.
Jimin is awesome at drawing and is the best after to JK. He has studied different kinds of martial arts and has a black belt in Taekwondo. K-media wrote; ”Basketball, jump rope..What can’t he do? Besides being an entertainment god with a natural sense of entertainment, he’s also outstanding athleticism”.

As a dancer myself, I don’t think general people understand the strength and control Jimin has. His flawless graceful lines, his posture, how he keeps his toes pointed in his jumps, the airtime and still manages to lands lightly which takes years of hard training to ever attain. He is on a whole other level than any idol I’ve ever seen. He is very well-known among Korean modern dancers who agree that he’s better than modern dancers.

I honestly am continuously shocked every time I watch their dance practices and on stage choreo because of how amazing they are at getting to their perfect places in and out of formations. Truly they are some of the best dancers I've ever seen in k-pop and no matter how many times I see their videos I am floored every time.

Your conversation reminded me how BTS maun choreographer said that in the beginning, as they were becoming one group, and one unit, choreography was more about being perfectly in sync. After as they improved their skills, and became a well-oiled machine that they are, they started mixing perfectly synced qnd more relaxed moves, that shows each members individual styles.

BTS performances are top tier, and even if their dances may not be the most difficult or trendy , they are the ones that cactches the public attention the most. Also, yes Jungkook is amazing at dancing, we usually appreciate hsi vocals the most since he is the main vocalist of the group, but he could be a main dancer in any other group LOL

@SolidoNaso. that's your opinion when it depends on what style you prefer. I've danced multiple styles growing up so your opinion as a non dancer is subjective. I would say Jhope is the best dancer technicality wise and every bts member says that. Style wise jungkook is my favorite since he dances with power and precision. Jimin tends to over dance and he's off beat a lot bc his style is to exaggerate movements. So again everyone can choose who they feel is best bc what you think is an opinion not fact.

i couldn't agree more to what was said here about jk, apart from him being an outstanding performer i'm happy sm actually talked about the "acting" part bc with a lot of performers/dancers in k-pop for me personally it's too much or too artificial, like i sense that it's not that natural for them (even tho they dance good) and they add things (like make exagerrated facials) that i take as "forced" trying to outdo the performance, and i understand some people like that or don't really see my take on it, but yea JK is it for me, the way he acts is not like that, it comes completely naturall for him, like he's just submerged in the act of performance livin the stage and staying true to himself

You've got to remember that they aren't JUST dancing, they are singing/rapping LIVE as well so they can't always have the insane choreo or they wouldn't be able to sing.

The dance line bring different things to the table, I personally love Jimin's dancing the most, to me he makes the most of every move and add little details to the choreography, I use some of his videos as inspiration in my dance lessons, I did a couple of covers and he makes so hard for me to copy him and teach others, hobi too, my god he has no bones 😂 the struggle is real but in a different way, the hardest for me are those two, a couple of friends love to imitate jungkook and his unique style bts have something for everyone❤, glad you watch bts content, they are amazing guys, even the guys that are not in the dance line do it AMAZING❤❤❤❤

Everyone is different. I love them all, but I am that way with JK… since the very first time I saw them perform in “Run BTS” dance practice, then “ON Kinetic Kanifesto”. It’s odd how you find that one and even when you didn’t know who they were your eye just went to them. I think Jimin is an AMAZING dancer (one of the best, esp in contemporary) so I can certainly see how he would be the one to catch your eye. 😊
