  • The Disney Resort Line is an automated monorail in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, which operates between JR Keiyō Line Maihama Station and the Tokyo Disney Resort (TDR). The system is operated by Maihama Resort Line Co., Ltd. , the subsidiary of Oriental Land Co., Ltd. that operates the TDR. Trains on the 5km loop line travel in one direction only, taking approximately 13 minutes to make one circuit. All trains stop at all stations.
The Disney Resort Line is not a "attraction" at the TDR, but a “railway” constructed in accordance with the Japanese Railway Business Act. The line intersects public roads, so most of the site is owned by Oriental Land Co., Ltd. , but the Japanese government considers it "transportation" rather than "play". Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, TDR was temporarily closed from February 29 to June 30, 2020, but the line operated as a public transportation.
