Beautiful area to hike and fly the drone. Great to see the use of a paper map again too. That sure seems like a lost artifact with all the technology these days. Cool meetups on the trail. Losing a drone is no fun. Glad you located it. Nice shout out. Sounds like he had quite the adventure. You had some great weather and no wind on this hike for a change. Beautiful drone footage. Awesome to see the area from above. Glad you did not get injured on the trail. That is some tough scrambling up those rocky slopes. Well done on your climbs. Awesome stuff. Have a wonderful day.
Yep, fall apart it was brilliant day and bumping into so many people who watch the cannel was real cool too, even better, they were all such nice people as well, which really made my day. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, Apologies for the late watch on this. We are catching up after having to take a short break from you tube, life has been very hectic of late. Feels like we have missed a whole season after seeing this beautiful weather in the lakes. It is so stunning when you get those clear days. Hard to put into words. Incredible drone footage👌. We agree, return to home is a life saver! They are easy to lose when looking into the sun, or, in our most recent experience, when you crash them off the side of a boat into the sea 🥹😂. Well done Ashley, what a monumental achievement!🙌. We do not know how he managed that either, unbelievable🙌. Lovely to see some metal mania going on in them there fells!😊. What a day! Enjoyed that, we will look forward to catching up on some more of your hikes soon. All the best, Shell and Pete 😊👊👍
I know what you mean, we just got back after 5 days away and a total break from YT but now I am way behind with everything lol but it was worth it. Such a lovely day this was and fall apart, one of the best walks I have done for a while I really enjoyed it. So nice to bump into people who watch the channel too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Thanks very much for watching Max and what a great day it was, great weather and a great days hiking, made even better by bumping into so many wonderful people, cheers Alan
We never get enough of those views that you share! Agreed - biking in those areas looks like it would be challenging! Thank you for sharing your trek and love that you met some subscribers!!
Thanks for watching, really appreciate you stopping by and what a great to be out hiking and so nice to bump into people who watch the channel, cheers Alan
So nice to bump into people who recognised me and said they watch the channel but what was even better, they were all so nice too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Beautiful scenery there, I love rugged rocky walks, looks like you met some lovely people, one of the things I like about hiking is some of the people you meet on the journey as you know its your kind of people with a love of the outdoors (99% of the time). Cheers for bringing us alone 🦇🦇🖤🖤
Yes it was, brilliant views and great weather too, long day and it got really warm too and fall apart, I had brilliant day, made even better by bumping into so many people who watch my channel. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Gosh you must now realise how famous you are haha .., and quite right too with such a super channel.Nice to chat to all those lovely people 😊 You picked a great weather day but as you say, thirsty work .. What an amazing blue sky!! Sorry to hear you had a tumble ... comes as a bit of a shock but pleased you "got back on the horse " as it were ! Brilliant idea to show the different paths ,, very helpful when people are making up their minds which route to take. Not many left now ... looking forward to the 214 next May but also all the other hikes inbetween. Take care & happy hiking 😊
I need to go back there for another 3 on the other side of the road but that will be next year now. Hoping to get to Wasdale on Monday for 3 of the smaller Wainwrights there that I started to climb last Spring time but the heavens opened, I spat my dummy out and I ended up driving home in a huff! This was such a good day and made even better by bumping into so many people what watch the channel, all of these real nice too. Thanks very much for watching very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Howdy! I enjoy how you show the maps of where your route is headed. Glad youre feeling good for such a long day of hiking 🥾 Rhino Pass. I absolutely LOVE those creepy windy roads beacuse theyre so scenic, but yes, sl9w and steady does best. What an announcement! Id pove to do something like pack a tent and some light fare and do the crinkles without having to worry about time. But youre an accomplished hiker and I admire the long hikes you do. Easy does it Metalman🤩and you did it!!! Woweewowow!
Thanks so much for watching and another great days hiking, really enjoyed it (fall apart) and real cool bumping into so many people who watch my channel but what was even better, they were all such nice people too, that really made my day, cheers Alan, cheers Alan
I love your channel Alan, A down to earth canny lad with such a great personality. Keep entertaining us all with your fabulous adventures. Look forward to you completing the wainwrights, you're almost there mate.
Thank you kindly, really good of you watching and your very kind words are something I appreciate. It has took a long time to get this far, a lot longer than I was anticipating but will be glad to be on the summit of that last one lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
That's good of you Keith, a day I really enjoyed, despite taking a tumble and the weather was unreal, what a difference today, never stopping raining once :o(. Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Hi, Alan. Another masterpiece, well documented film. I bet meeting your loyal subscribers gave you smile ear to ear. Early start makes really stunning views. The hiking trails have very unique characters comparing ones I hike here. That makes me more interested and appreciated. Bravo to you!
Thank you so much, real nice of you to stop by and it was a great day out made even better by meeting so many wonderful people who recognised me on the trail. Take care, cheers Alan
Always great views and lucky the drone have a return home Button. Just be carefully! Seem like a busy hiking as a change, with everyone you met this time. Have a great evening Alan and cheers 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
I use that return to home button almost every time I fly the drone and man is it useful. So nice to bump into so many subscribers and what made it even more special was they were all great people too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Early and chilly but it looked so beautiful there Alan and nice that you got sun too. The views are amazing all around. That sounded like a scary road back 😯 no wonder you are hesitant to come back to finish those 3. Loved the drone footage and music with it and the running water was lovely. So nice that you met Martin out there cycling and Andrew and Blair who helped with the lost drone 😃Views from the Pike of Blisco were stunning, not many more to go now, 12 I think you said :) It was gorgeous looking at crinkle crags. Also good that you met Dave too, and others ! You always meet so many people, Metalmania for sure 😃 I will have to check out that video of Ashleys that you suggested. Those ladies did well climbing Kilimanjaro :) That was fabulous, like you said, the views were unreal , I hope Geoff and Katy had a good wildcamp out there and that you had a nice roast dinner 😃 You met so many out there today 🙂👍~ Anna
So nice to meet brilliant people and I had a good chat with them all, really enjoyed it, really gave me a boost when I was flagging a bit too. The weather has been amazing the last couple of weeks but due to change tomorrow night, so I may get one more day out tomorrow. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, superb weather to be up in the lakes, great your within touching distance of completing all 214 wainwrights, iam similar when going over to the lakes dont need a alarm clock always awake long before its due to go off, loved the drone footage if not your fall, stay safe cheers nigel
Yes, fall apart it was a brilliant day and real nice to bump into so many great people who watches the videos too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Fantastic video, Alan. You did an awful lot of hiking in one day. Well done, you. Bet it's a great feeling meeting people who watch your channel. 😊 I dare say that sunday dinner was the best after the day you had. 😋 Fabulous drone footage 👌
Glad you enjoyed it and I was starving when I got in 20.15, so really enjoyed it. I normally make it a rule not to eat or drink after 18.00 but made an exception in this case lol. Really goods days hiking (fall apart) and brilliant to meet so many people who watch the channel. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, Thanks for the video. Im always blown away by the sharp colours that your camera catches. It was such a nice shootout to Adhley! It's amazing that he keeps you motivated. Mexican standoff.... haha. I love your videos when you're out and about, but I quite enjoy your review videos. Especially the food ines and the hotel ones. How cool to bump into some viewers out there. Thisnis a great watch!
Glad you enjoyed it and really appreciate you stopping by and brilliant to bump into so many people who watch the channel, what was even better, they were all so nice too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Glad you enjoyed it and fall apart it was such a good days hiking, dam warm for the time of year but I was not complaining about that. Appreciate you stopping by, cheers Alan
Morning Alan What a fabulous day for a hike ❤ Congratulations on 200 Up and out early, we're the same Loved the drone footage, so glad you didn't lose it Great that you bumped into someone subscribers too ❤ We really need to visit the Lakes it's on our must visit list. Hope you and Mrs Metalman are both well ❤ Have a great weekend
Thanks so much for watching and what a great days hiking this was, 3 brand new Wainwrights, brilliant weather and despite the awful drive over (and the fall) it was brilliant to bump into so many people who watch the channel. Have a great weekend, cheers Alan
Love crinkle crags Alan going across the crinkles is class. I come down the bad step. Was a tough day to say the least 😂 you will enjoy great carrs and swirl how. I've just done wetherlam swirl how and great carrs parked at tiberthwaite went up steel edge on wetherlam up the prison band to swirl how then onto great cars down Westside edge circle back to carpark. Great hike. Adding grey friar would of been too much for me 😂
Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, real good of you and what a great days hiking this was, I really enjoyed it, cheers Alan
Such a great days hiking and fall apart, I had a brilliant day, despite the long drive over and back home again. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Metalmania on steroids!! Everyone seemed to know you. I have to say we were very touched by what you said about us, we almost fell off the sofa!! But thank you so much. It was 7 peaks at 700m not 7000 but I'll take it! Only was able to do it as I'm stubborn, determined, and have a never give up mentality - bit of stupidity could be added in there too!! Anyway, back to the video! The drive up the Wrynose Pass is epic, you probably turned and went back the way you came, but going on thru the zigzags and past the Roman Fort is also brilliant, hairy and exciting, but so good. Starting at the 3 Shires post was a great idea because you are already high up. We did Pike 0'Blisco from the Langdale side and it's a steep climb up so you missed that joy. I was so glad you made it to Crinkle Crags and stopped there as Bowfell is a beast - the ascent after the Crinkles from the 3 Tarns is brutal and that might have spoiled your day - The views you got everywhere were superb, you will wait a long time before getting it as good as that again. We did Bowfell from the Langdales with Esk Pike and down the Band and that was an epic hike for us, its a hike I would do again. Well done on the 200 landmark, you and Eddie are both almost there - I think your future plans are great and done in a Metalman style will be great to watch. All the best, Ashley and Andrea.
Well I meant every word of it and I hope that video gets seen by a hell of a lot more people, it sure deserves too. I was going to do Rosset Pike and Bowfell today but after 2 long hikes in 4 days, another one today may have been pushing it. Thought I would leave it till later on in the week - just checked the forecast and the weather is rubbish now for the next 10 days :o(. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN Thanks. I remember doing Rossett Pike. Esk Pike and Bowfell together, that was a brilliant hike. Sitting above Angel Tarn in the sunshine was spectacular. Wait for a good day!! Ashley
Fair old trek that. We did Cold Pike and Pike o'Blisko from the Langdale valley in our June trip this year. Been many years since I last went over the passes. What a stunning day though. It did look a bit like a Metalman fan club day out at times! 🙂
Such a fantastic day and in great weather too, what a difference today, never stopped raining once :o(. Despite a fall I was in high spirits and every time I started to blow a bit I bumped into someone who watched the channel, what a lift that was, especially as they were all so nice too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, what a cracking day! The sun gave the landscape such a wonderful golden glow. It was nice to meet Martin on his bike. What a fit guy. Great that you met several other fans too! Absolutely stunning views and an incredible blue sky. Ooh, lovely to have a roast dinner waiting for you on your return. You're a lucky man, Mr Metalman! ❤👍
Glad you enjoyed it and it was fantastic to bump into so many people who watch the channel, even better, they were all so nice too. Fall apart, I had a great day, with unexpectedly super weather too, this was last Friday and the weather since has been awful :o(. Appreciate you stopping by, cheers Alan
Thank you, very much appreciated and it's been a long old haul but worth it. Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, Another one of my favourites... the Crinkle Crags. We have done the Crinkle Crags a couple of times, the first time I remember the weather was just superb and it was delightful. unfortunately we didn't film that one.. The one we did film, however, the weather was really bad. We set off from the Old Dungeon Ghyll car park then up Pike 'o' Stickle. when we got to the top we could see anything at all and struggled to find the correct route off. It was in the days before I downloaded the routes to my phone and we had to use the compass and the map to navigate off the top. We carried onto Cold Pike and then rambled over the Crinkle Crags in the clag just to get down to the Three Tarns and down The Band back into the car park.. You mentioned Bow Fell though.. not sure which route you are looking at but we did Bow Fell from Old Dungeon Ghyll and up past Whorneyside Force and Hell Ghyll. Then took the Climbers Traverse to Cambridge Crag. The spring at Cambridge Cragg was really nice, the water from it as Wainwright states 'Nothing better has ever come form a barrel or bottle.' Theres a bit of a scramble up from there but nothing too bad. Loved the drone footage.. and I did laugh when you lost it... we have done that loads of times.. and that feeling you get in your stomach when you are feverishly searching for it in the sky.. wondering where the hell it is... 😆 It's good to see though that the Return To Home feature works.. I have never used the feature as I can never remember if it had updated it's position from where it took off.. 🤦🏻♂ I've always managed to spot a landmark on the screen and guide it back.. Yet another fantastic film... not many more now Alan.. 💪🏻👍🏻 Be careful out there!!! Keep em coming!! All the very best Matthew & Sue
Yes I will be doing Bow Fell from the Old Dungeon Ghyll and almost did it yesterday, with Rosset Pike but got side tracked at the last minute, which was a shame, so another day now. Haha, I used that return to home button on most of my flights but have to remain still, as it only comes back to where it takes off from but fair play it has worked every time (thank goodness). I was real lucky with the weather, this was last Friday and the weather has been awful since, hopefully this is not the end of the summer. Thanks so much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan another well documented review and hope your okay after your fall , but the views were just amazing and i know what its like flying a drone as i get a bit nervous but even worse when you think youve lost it but pleased you recovered yours , ive not been over that neck of the woods but wouldnt fancy driving along those narrow roads its bad enough on normal roads , Anyway thanks for sharing and looking forward to your next adventure up The Wainwrights , Cheers Kev .
Glad you enjoyed it and some of those roads were insane, I could feel the grass either side of the car brushing each car door, God know what would happen if you met a tractor coming the other way lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
What a brilliant day Alan 😁 so glad you didn’t loose your drone 😅 the views are just fantastic on this walk. You’ll finish the wainwright’s in no time!
Thanks 👍 and what a great day it was (fall apart) you could see for miles and the views were stunning, really enjoyed the hike and really enjoyed bumping into so many people who watch the channel. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Yes it was, been really lucky with the weather last couple of weeks, maybe one more day and then it all goes down hill. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Metalmania indeed, Alan. Full on youtuber celebrity status. The three Wainwright's looked pretty stunning. Lucky that you didn't pick up an injury on your tumble 😮
Yes, I got a shock but could not myself from falling backwards and to rocks as well, real lucky it was not a loot worse. That apart it was such a good day, great weather and met so many wonderful people. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Look at those Lake District colours, wonderful! Some of those roads are teeth grinding! These drone shots are getting better and really work with your music accompaniment. Great approach to tackle these ones. Down to the vest I this lovely weather. I always wake up before the alarm too, hope I haven’t jinxed it I need to wake up before 5AM to get to the Dolomites for the first time. Nice meeting with Martin. Return to Home and the compass in the corner is a life changer. The drones position relative to yours is the biggest game changer on my day out with the expert. Pike O announcement, 200 well done. Well done Ashley, nice back story. Cracking views and you’re really ticking them off, more amazing drone shots. The vest is out! More nice Metalmania meet ups! That was always going to be a question of mine, what would be your next challenge? I think you have answered it! Cracking playground the Lakes is, wish we could get to it faster. Superb 👍
Oh the Dolomites sounds nice, especially of you are going this week, as the weather is pants, so pleased I got 2 hikes in last week and was supposed to get another one in today but had to bin it in the end. Fall and roads apart this was a cracking day out, absolutely loved it and despite feeling real tired at the end all the wonderful people I met made up for any mishaps. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMANloved it Alan, think my question might remain, beyond filming all the Wainwright fells after completing them , what is your next challenge? Personally, I’d like to see you cracking off Ethels or Munros, that’s my opinion, but just happy to see you out and about doing what to love best. We all love it too! I’ve researched the back end of my Thursday hike, and I can tell you now we are the most under prepared we have ever been. It’s our first Dolomite, ts 9000 foot and it’s infested with bears. Could not be happier. In no place physically or ready for this challenge, record will be on, this video might be our last! We will die VERY happy❤
Hi Alan, good to meet you near Red Tarn and thanks for the inclusion in your video. Glad you had a good day and made it over Crinkle Crags. Cheers Martyn (on the bike).
Thanks, you too! I hope you had a great day, fall apart I had a brilliant one and even got a decent ride back home too, which was a bonus. Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, very much appreciated and great to meet you, cheers Alan
Glad you enjoyed it and yes, what a great story that was and two great lads as well, been friends since school and climbed all 214 Wainwrights over 30 years of yearly visits to the Lake District. I hope you are well! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Another good walk alan ....some cracking views up there ....I hope you have done hard knott harter fell and green crag because that's a pain in the backside to get too...especially for us coming from our area on its Another couple of mile on to hard knott pass ....keep knocking them out nearly their ...ATB Andrew ⛰️👍
My worse ever day on the fells, just over a year ago, was slogging around those three fells in miserable weather. Mountain forecast got it wrong (again), supposed to be dry with some sun, turned out to be grey, miserable and low clouds. The awful boggy walk around still happened mind, after that long drive over and then down the Wrynose Pass, there was no way I was binning t, although the camera went away after about 10 minutes. I do want to film all the Fells I have done but not filmed over the years but for those three I may well make an exception lol! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Absolutely brilliant the metal man strikes again i need to do these myself so nice one for sharing marra what a day for you sunshine and views good stuff I'm not a mention for mention bloke but my new vid ive mentioned you on just for being a inspiration and the efforts you do mate as for it amazes me and my partner when we watch you mooch around these fells keep em going mate 200 in class alan get yourself a water fillter marra just incase days like this again you won't go wrong with one marra and I for sure if welcome will meet on your last one not to hang around but to put a hand to the metal man on compleition cheers alan great as always and agree thanks to return to home hahaha😂
Yes, thank you for that mention on the summit of Glaramara, real nice of you and something I am always a bit embarrassed about, same when people stop you and tell you they watch the channel and how good it is, it's so nice of them but I always feel a bit uncomfortable, as there are so many other channels a hundred times better than mind and so much more professional too - I just turn up and say the first thing that comes into my mind, which is mostly complete rubbish! I do need to get a water filter but a good one, as I did get a cheap one a couple of years back and it did not last one summer. That return to home button on the drone is a life saver, I use it on just about every flight lol! Thanks very much for watching and your kind words, appreciate it, cheers Alan
Thanks very much for watching and you very kind words, something I appreciate. Love Raven Crag and sounds like Sunday was the last hot day, been miserable since, so not had a chance to get back out again this week. Take care, cheers Alan
Absolutely awesome Alan. You never cease to amaze me. That's a tough walk too. Easy to have an accident, usually when you're a bit tired. Four litres of fluid. Blimey I'd have needed a few pit stops ha ha. Do you just take water? I ask as I use SIS electrolyte powder. Two scoops make one litre along with energy gels. I need all the help I can get cause I'm older than you ha! I was up on Birkhouse Moor & Catstye Cam yesterday. Had the top all to myself. Well apart from a sheep perched precariously close to the edge. I tiptoed about just in case it fell off the other side. Metal-mania, well deserved recognition I say. You're an inspiration for many. Great video Alan. Many thanks for sharing your adventure
I used to always take electrolytes with me in powder form in my juice and a few bars too but it just got too expensive, so had to drop back down to juice and water. Really enjoyed this walk and (fall apart) bumping into people who watch the channel - all really nice too which made it even better. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Great video, thank you Alan. Hope you do continue the hikes, they are brilliant. They gave me inspiration and would have started my adventures if it wasn't for you When I am out i always wonder will I bump in to Alan.
Thank you, I will and I appreciate you watching and your very kind words. Fingers crossed that we do bump into each other one day out on the Fells. Take care, cheers Alan
Well done braving Rhinos pass, never done that, never will haha.. to do these I parked at the old dungeon ghyll, ya should be able to do bowfell and rossett pike from there.. Crinkle Crags is one of my favourites, glad ya managed to get it on such a fantastic day.. 2 a month now for 6 months and High Rigg will be ready in time for the summer :D
I was supposed to be doing Rosset Pike and Bowfell tomorrow from the Old Dungeon Ghyll but after 3 long hikes in 6 days, my legs are still a bit stiff. So I thought, I have another 3 or 4 trips to complete the lot but got till next May to do them, so having a chill day tomorrow. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Thank you, you too! A real good days hiking in real good weather too, unsure how many more good days like there will be this year. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
It was late when I got my roast dinner and I was ready for it as well lol. A real good days hiking (fall apart) and a place I will be back to again in the future. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Good evening Alan, wonderful video again, and what beautiful weather. We’ve certainly been blessed these last couple of weeks. I drove over Wrynose and Hardknott passes the other day, I love em, so much fun! 🤣 You really did meet plenty of fans out on the fells on that one, superb mate. Congratulations on the 200 up too mate. I did Cold Pike and Pike O Blisco from the same spot when I did them. I branched off left before Red Tarn and did Cold Pike first then straight down and up to Blisco. I dropped off the back to pick a path that was on the map……certainly wasn’t on the ground! 🤣🤣 All the best mate 😀⛰🥾🌞
I hate driving on those really narrow roads, God knows how the farmers get about down there, on second thoughts, I do not want to know lol. Really enjoyed the hike mind (fall apart) and some stunning views down the valley. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Really good to meet you on our way up mate, we had a brilliant wild camp and were treated to a stunning cloud inversion on Wednesday morning, keep up the vids 👍🏻
Thank you, good to meet you both too! Real good to hear you had a good night and even better morning by the sound of it as well. Thanks very much for watching, take care, cheers Alan
I know you weren't too sure if you were gonna be able to do all three wainwrights today, but you did! You seemed extremely tired at the end of this one! It's great that you ran into so many subscribers on one hike!
I was, really unexpected heat, not used to it and despite 4 litres of water I still ran out. Still a great days hiking and so nice to bump into so many people who watch the channel, really gave me a boost. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Yep and fingers crossed back over the lakes tomorrow for Bowfell and Rosset Pike, 3 times in the last 6 days, good to get them all in but I am way behind with so many things, as Mrs Metalman keeps telling lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
I did Pike O'Blisco about 10 years ago and I couldn't find that path so went to the end of Red Tarn and took that path up and down. There was no OSMaps to follow then though 😂
Yes, passed the end of Red Tarn is much the better way up and down, the route OS maps showed was awful, really boggy as well. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
What a fantastic day for a hike. Love the views. Congratulations on 200+ of the wainwrights. 🎊🎉 Do you carry a water filter of some sort so you can replenish your water? I see some nice little water holes from time to time. I’ve done the whole running out of water thing before and walked from 60degrees into 90+ degrees in less than a mile and got rewarded with a painful case of heat exhaustion with about 2 or 3 miles to go. Don’t ever want that to happen again. Took about a half hour of sitting in a river to get myself ready for the ride home. Glad you’re ok too after the little spill you took. Thanks for taking us along and sharing these adventures. Stay safe my friend 👍👍
No I do not have a water filter and I should really as a back up and even though the temperature was no way near to what you guys get it was way too hot for me and as quick as I was putting fluid in, it was leaking right back again again, we were not used to too much heat in the North of England lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
You seem to be following me I have done the last three walks you have done a week or to prior to you, the last one was a bit different I started in langdale and sacrificed pike of Blisco for Bowfell to use your words “what a day” keep them coming you’ll soon hit 214 🤪👍
If the weather holds I will be back tomorrow for Bowfell and Rosset Pike, the rest of the week looks a shocker mind. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN that sounds a good days walking I intended going on to Rossett pike but that hike from langdale to crinkle crags and across to bowfell took it out of me🤨 so I came down the band which after three tarns is an easy path, as opposed to what looked a task getting to Rosset pike. Hope the weather holds out for you 🤨 take care and look forward to the video 😊
3:50 King of the hill ..... 4:30 Pretty as a picture ..... 8:30 Follow the stream ..... 10:30 Have a good one ...... Awesome view ..... 13:00 Hi ...... 24:00 Great to have a drone in these scenarios ..... 27:10 Great place to run into folks ..... 34:35 See ya guys.
Such a great day, made even better meeting people who watch the channel and they all turned out to be real cool too. Real pleased I had the drone along with me on this one, despite nearly losing it lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan

Hi Alan,
Apologies for the late watch on this.
All the best,
Shell and Pete 😊👊👍
I know what you mean, we just got back after 5 days away and a total break from YT but now I am way behind with everything lol but it was worth it. What a beautiful day and place to be for a day... I am envious my friend. Meeting people and being on those Wainwrights... Awesome.
What a lovely sunny day for a hike. 😊
It must be fun running into people that watch your channel!
Have a great day! Kaat😊
Hi Alan, another fantastic video with excellent commentry.A refreshing and honest view on your three peak walk.Keep them coming.
You always meet so many people, Metalmania for sure 😃
I will have to check out that video of Ashleys that you suggested. Those ladies did well climbing Kilimanjaro :)
That was fabulous, like you said, the views were unreal , I hope Geoff and Katy had a good wildcamp out there and that you had a nice roast dinner 😃 You met so many out there today 🙂👍~ Anna
Great stuff, Alan. The scenery was amazing as always. The colors behind you in the sky were great, too.
Glad you enjoyed it and fall apart it was such a good days hiking, dam warm for the time of year but I was not complaining about that. Appreciate you stopping by, cheers Alan
Morning Alan
What a fabulous day for a hike ❤
Congratulations on 200
Up and out early, we're the same
Loved the drone footage, so glad you didn't lose it
Great that you bumped into someone subscribers too ❤
We really need to visit the Lakes it's on our must visit list.
Hope you and Mrs Metalman are both well ❤
Have a great weekend
Absolutely loving the drone shots Alan! A perfect accompaniment to your hikes Brother 🤘🏼
Congratulations on 200 Wainwrights ❤
Thank you, very much appreciated and it's been a long old haul but worth it. Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, cheers Alan
Hi Alan,
Another one of my favourites... the Crinkle Crags.
The spring at Cambridge Cragg was really nice, the water from it as Wainwright states 'Nothing better has ever come form a barrel or bottle.'
Theres a bit of a scramble up from there but nothing too bad.
Loved the drone footage.. and I did laugh when you lost it... we have done that loads of times.. and that feeling you get in your stomach when you are feverishly searching for it in the sky.. wondering where the hell it is... 😆
It's good to see though that the Return To Home feature works.. I have never used the feature as I can never remember if it had updated it's position from where it took off.. 🤦🏻♂
I've always managed to spot a landmark on the screen and guide it back..
Yet another fantastic film... not many more now Alan.. 💪🏻👍🏻
Be careful out there!!!
Keep em coming!!
All the very best
Matthew & Sue
Awsome weather for this great hike. Always glad to come along 😊😊😊
Yes it was, been really lucky with the weather last couple of weeks, maybe one more day and then it all goes down hill. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Such stunning views! You’ve really captured the essence of these landscapes. Incredible videos! 👍74
Thank you so much 👍 Real good of you to watch and take the time to leave a comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
So sunny and beautiful, with incredible views!
It sure was all three, a great days hiking, despite the long drive over there.
Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, very much appreciated and great to meet you, cheers Alan
amazing footage my friend
Thanks for the visit John, always appreciated, cheers Alan
Outstanding video to watch on a Sunday. The two thirty year friends reminded me of old friends, which made me smile. 🤙
Congratulations 200 😮. Went up raven crag with my daughter Sunday was hot. Love watching you vlogs.
Thanks very much for watching and you very kind words, something I appreciate. Love Raven Crag and sounds like Sunday was the last hot day, been miserable since, so not had a chance to get back out again this week. Take care, cheers Alan
Went up fire road as you advised. Thanks for making it possible 👍
@@leejones6579 - great, so much easier and a lot safer too :o)
What a amazing scenery Alan, looks like a another planet actually! Views are just amazing here, summit looks definitely higher! 👏👏
Thanks very much for watching, real good of you and a very good days hiking, despite the long drive over there, cheers Alan
Great video, thank you Alan. Hope you do continue the hikes, they are brilliant. They gave me inspiration and would have started my adventures if it wasn't for you
When I am out i always wonder will I bump in to Alan.
Great video Alan. Lovely day. Nice views from the top there. Have a fantastic Sunday 👍😊
Thank you, you too! A real good days hiking in real good weather too, unsure how many more good days like there will be this year. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
People go on about Hardknott Pass but I've always found the Langdale side of Wrynose much more hair-raising, with that massive drop on the left 😮
Some of those roads were insane, I was dreading meeting something coming the other way and I have to go back there again for another 3 yet - yikes!
well done 💪 view's & weather bang on 👌hope your roast dinner topped the energy levels up 👍
It was late when I got my roast dinner and I was ready for it as well lol.
You really did meet plenty of fans out on the fells on that one, superb mate.
All the best mate 😀⛰🥾🌞
I hate driving on those really narrow roads, God knows how the farmers get about down there, on second thoughts, I do not want to know lol. Really enjoyed the hike mind (fall apart) and some stunning views down the valley. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hello new friend just saw your channel. Nice hike thanks. Have a great weekend.
Thanks, you too! Real good of you to watch and take the time to leave a comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Smashing through them at the moment Alan...keep it going
