Mine would be a power bank emergency car starter that had a MagSafe compatible ring on it and a USB-C output. I keep one in the car in case of cold start problems and of course it would be handy to also be able to charge the phone on the MagSafe "port" or the MBP via USB-C. Solar charging for the power bank would be awesome as well since it's hanging out in the car anyway.

I think the “MagSafe Trio” (the MagSafe Duo knock-off) is really cool, because I have an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods. Apple should make an official MagSafe Trio to replace AirPower.
I have never ever needed to charge all 3 at the same time. The battery on the airpods lasts so long that with minimal effort you can charge it in between the watch and phone.
I use the anker car mount in a semi truck every day and it works great. Phone hasn’t fallen one time. Just make sure you use a case with a good magnet. Not all MagSafe cases are made the same.
The magsafe Belkin car vent mount was notorious for not having a strong enough magnetic grip to counter vibrations while driving. Did your experience using this newer mount show any improvement in reliability of the magsafe connection? I wish this wasn't such a superficial breeze through these products. The depth of this coverage is often about as meaningful as just reading the packaging or manufacturer/Amazon listing for these products, and shows little indication that those reviewing the products meaningfully tested anything (whether or not that is actually the case).
My smartphone XSMax was falling down every time when driving. So I had to weld to my air conditioner entrance. That hack worked and it is highly recommended.
Use the belkin magsafe battery pack in portrait mode but with your phone in lansdscape, when you want landscape is much better imo than laying it down as shown in the video. The way I mentioned suspends the phone in the air which makes for a much nicer, angled viewing experience. Great video btw 👍🏽
Ankers battery pack has things missing that apple battery pack have. Anker gets hot easily since it’s more of a “charger” rather than a battery “extender”. While the apples one never gets uncomfortably hot since it’s optimised. Not to mention the battery status indication
Also for Model 3 and Y after market Jeda makes a MagSafe chi charger with the Alcantara finish. Version 4 you can also charge airpod 3 or pros wirelessly

Great video. This may have came out after this video but Mophie 3 in 1 travel charger also does full MagSafe 15w fast charging too. It also comes with the 30w power adapter. I like it a lot more than Belkin because it folds for travel. Only drawback is that it can only be purchased through Apple.
Huh? It’s available on other sites like Zagg. It also does NOT fast charge Apple Watches as it has the old puck. Also reported issues with charging unlike the Belkin which is a superior made product
Tried that anker car mount and the sticky paid would not stick to anything on my dashboard. So has to be for a specific brand of car or truck for it to work.
I have a metal phone holder that is stationary goes high or low but this MagSafe version. That twists to various angles is pretty cool and will pick one up now thanks that.

Magsafe works with any phone. You just have to buy a cheap metal ring. Now I can use magsafe and I don't have to have an iPhone! I get magasafe with a superior Samsung phone!.. Winning!

well i also have the 13 mini and use the old belkin boost 3 in 1 (the design of the new one is just atrocious) and the magsafe duo. Obviously one at home and the other one on the go, sleeping at my girlfriends etc. Others I don`t have, but I also don`t own a car and use old fashioned hard cash
Do the LEDs on the „trio mag safe duo“ always stay on, when it‘s charging a device? If so, it‘s impractical to be on a nightstand since those lights look like their pretty bright!

Everyone is mocking the official MagSafe powerbank for not having as much capacity as the competition, but the voltage of the battery is as important if not more. Apple’s powerbank has, as stated by the competitors, less capacity but a higher voltage, making it capable of releasing the same amount of charging percentage to the phone on a complete cycle as Anker one, which is yes bigger in capacity but with less voltage. Capacity and voltage goes hand in hand when it comes to charging, but we tend to forget about it. We just think at capacity for batteries and watts for cables, when the two are in fact correlated. Moral of the story, both Anker and Apple’s powerbanks deliver the same amount of charge
In India there’s a company called ambrane that produced a limited time magsafe powerbank with 10000 mah and it also shows the magsafe animation. It only costs about 26-27$ and the only quirk in it is the not so strong magnet and charges at 15 watts
Is the product you got the folding 3 in one (Triple "MagSafe Duo" with Power Adapter) from UCOMX or some other company? The link listed says UCOMX but per Amazon there's a UCOMX logo on the apple watch portion of it and the one you have doesn't have the logo.
I have a iPhone Xs Max in a large case. Will the above products work for it? Trying to especially find a safe car mount for my iPhone to display maps. I’ve tried car air vent clips but the weight of my iPhone pulls vent clip out or landscape mode slowly swivels to portrait. Also, my current portable charger is extremely heavy and bulky. Not the best I’ve seen and the one with 3 devices takes up a disproportionate amount of the video. Greater variety - you showed numerous that were similar concepts - like chargers and wallets. So many others out there you didn’t invest the necessary time to invest so downvoted. My view - at least. Ta
That wallet is just too extra. Just get the nice popwallet +. It says it holds 2-3 but it has a stretchy material so it’ll stretch and I can fit about 5-6 in it

Just got an iPhone 13 so automatically I got a MagSafe case and a MagSafe charger and to be honest I don’t like it at all. And the main reason is the charging puk and phone get really hot and that’s pretty bad for the phones battery. And this phone has such a good battery that I need to charger it only once in a about two days and that’s charging it from about 30 to 80 and for those little moments when I charger my phone I rather just use a 5 watt charger with a lightning cable. It charges fast enough and it doesn’t kill the long term battery like MagSafe dose. So when it comes to charging the phone in my opinion it’s a waist of money but the non charging products did look pretty cool. And I might check ‘em out. But good video. That’s 😀

Look for cases that say compatible with Mag safe. They have a magnetic ring build in the case to strengthen the hold.
