Thanks. She's featured on a few of the early videos on the channel. Dee will chase tennis balls but given half a chance takes off after the Deer in the woods hence that tracker on her collar.
Great to see you back on TH-cam again. I would be very interested to see a video on outboard servicing, not least because having watched your previous videos, I am intending to exchange our Mariner 2 stroke for a Tohatsu 4 stroke, and installed by the same company that you used. Best wishes for the season ahead.
Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. I've had no problems at all with the Tohatsu or the little Suzuki. Say hello to Cameron when you have yours fitted. Phil
A kin feel the excitment, summer aheed, Dee keeping you right 😂 Bliddy hell’ that Tohatsu is very quiet Phil and both engines running like a watch 👍 great stuff al be watching oot for the engine service, great tae see anither video and see fit yer uptae ma freen 🎣
Thanks Gordon, swapping the old Mariner 15 hp two stroke for this new Tohatsu 20 hp four stroke was one of the best things I've done with Reel Time. Less noise, no smell and sips fuel in comparison. The bonus is the electric start - luxury 🤗
Thanks for commenting. The Sea Jeep is also a fine fishing boat. It was on my list when I was looking to buy a boat. At 350kg and 15 foot it's an easy size for solo launch and recovery. Soon as this weather settles we'll all be out again. Stay safe on the water mate 👍
Shoulder and arm looked good when starting the little engine, glad you are on the mend. Don't forget to let me know when you are planning to go to Cornwall too
Thanks Tommo, the little outboard really doesn't take much to pull start but I was mindful not to get too enthusiastic pulling 😎. Can you either message on Instagram or contact via the email on the about section of the channel 👍
@@anotherangleUK tried to Instagram you Phil but it won't send my message to you, probably because I only have a business Instagram. Haven't found an email in the about but yet 🙈
Hi Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm awaiting delivery of the service parts. I hasten to add that I'm not a trained mechanic but have done my own services on cars and older outboards in the past.
Hi Phil. Great to see the shoulder support is off, almost there!! I like the idea of cutting the green bin down. So whats the reason for propping the trailer up?
Thanks Dave, I have to raise the front of the trailer to pivot the rear / outboard downwards to get the skeg deep enough in the tank / wheelie bin. I realised putting the 10 inch wheels on trailer made this more important as the boat is higher up. 👍
Hi, great outboards and very economic to run too. I honestly can't remember what length of cables I used. I'll have a look and see if it's written on my paperwork.
Starting to get the boat ready for new adventures. Always feel good when the outboards fire up after their winter in the garage.
Great little dog!! First I have seen of it! I had a Malteese Poodle that loved to chase a tennis ball all day long.
Thanks. She's featured on a few of the early videos on the channel. Dee will chase tennis balls but given half a chance takes off after the Deer in the woods hence that tracker on her collar.
Hi from Ralph in south Wales, yes love to see the service of the engine,
Hi Ralph, No problem. As mentioned in another reply I'm not a trained mechanic but have maintained my own engines as much as I can. 👍
Glad everything is working well. Hope your shoulder is improving
Thanks for watching, commenting and the kind comments. Slowly on the mend 👍
another good little video mate, of course we wont to see the next one Phil, keep them coming mate,
Thanks James. Hope to get some fishing to video soon. 👍
@@anotherangleUK hope you very very tight lines mate,
Nice video Phil, outboards going like a dream👍

Nice video again. All the best with your summer ☀️ adventures.
Thanks, you too. Tight lines and stay safe out on the water.

Love to see the service on the outboard as I need to do my Mariner 9.9 and I don’t really know where to start.🤔

I want to buy the exact same Tohatsu.
What Length of cable for throttle and clutch did you buy?
