World of difference when you add sway bars or bigger sway bar. One of the best mods I did for my A4

Honestly the fact that the B6 could get even that close to the B8 with like, half the power is impressive. The B8 looks amazing rn tho, ive got a black 09' B8 A4 2.0T and thats like, almost exactly how I want mine to look haha

We have a customer with a well maintained B7 Audi A4 Avant packing the stock 3.2L V6. It’s one of the smoothest and sweetest VW motors I’ve driven in my 22-yr automotive career (many of them spent with VW of NA).
It doesn’t make “turbo power”, but being NA it’s smooth and brilliant as a daily. None of the PCV and oiling issues of the 2.0T family. 🍻 ❤️

Felt like a track hang without actually having to be there. Loved it!

Should try the left foot braking the pro's use to overcome the engine placement. The front will grip better through corners.
Could help to boost load at the same time.

B8 sounds so good! I'm running just the stock rear muffler on mine, stage 2. What do you recommend to toss in to get that tone?

Honestly my exhaust is just a mess of different pipes lol. I’ve got the catless dp, kept the stock front resonator, removed the center resonator and put a vibrant ultraquiet resonator in its place, and removed the rear muffler, converted to dual exit.

Have you had any CV boot/axle issues? my b8.5 a4 has blow through 3 cv boots and 1 entire cv axle.

So far I’ve only ripped a cv boot, but I’m pretty sure that was partially due to the excessive heat and lack of gentleness I was using to replace my control arms and ball joints

Look at me..do you have only 1 status for live track ..Nitron R3 system coilovers.. without racing coilover you don't feel Power or grip!! After tyres Yoko A052 ..

I feel like the B8 would've gone faster with the smaller stock turbo on a track like this because of the instantaneous spool up. Big turbos just don't spool as fast and require higher sustained RPM.

    • @FlinkFilms

Definitely agree. With the bigger turbo this car has very little low-end now. I gotta find a track day at a bigger track next summer to really take advantage of it
