How often are you changing the battery? I heard this bike drains batteries big time because of the energy needed to start the bike, and also because the fans drain the battery very quickly when it is hot. Did you have any grabby clutch issues which are common with this model bike? Many thanks.

Well all these things are issues which are stock issues..stock exhaust who keeps that. Bike was made to not have those mufflers that was only for emissions to pass for any country. Remove to a shorty single pipe and look u can clean that one area u couldn't before... Also the heat thing to me isnt a issue. Sitting on top of a ENGINE in the heat..what were u expecting air conditioning? Ppl dont need to ride who complain about things which are obvious when buying any bike. Hot motor no a.c.. Ever been in a hi hp car? No a.c. u can feel the transmission heat up the car inside. Also the fuel gauge is likely the only real issue as a tune or thermostat will fix the "heat" issue.
2011 models came in with an electronic steering damper is it?!? I thought 2014 is when Yamaha realized they need to give the consumers more other than just the engine!!!
