My R6 is overheating, no proper mech to fix that in Bangalore. This bike doesn't have quick initial but to get into madness u should keep the accelerator until it reaches 5k RPM then it becomes beast and this is the only problem coz u can't judge your timing to overtake a vehicle. Plus the owner didn't mention about no fuel level indicator. There is only a light that lits when it's about to get over.
Maybe you are new to the riding the R6 that's why you cant judge your timing to overtake a vehicle, we never experienced this issue and pretty much all the sbk's from this period don't have a fuel indicator that's a fairly common problem.
I have been waiting for someone to come out with this topic for the past 6 years! PLEASE do make a video on "how to verify the bike is clean?" if possible.

Brother the reason Yamaha doesn't import R6 is that it is a 600 CC bike which is sort of not legalised in India. Cbr 600 is technically somewhere around 590's CC which makes it street legal. R6 exceeds 1-3 CC more soo its not legal. Yamaha could better enter Indian market easily by reducing the CC to 590's.

Amazing video.. Loved it... I'm interested... But I hate the 2017 model.. I want the 2016..Or 2010..anything from 2010 to 2016 model... But not the 2017.. Cause I loved this bikes headlights.. the looks.. Especially the rear tail.. And in the 2017 they have ruined it... So Where can I find them.?
Thank you , Very difficult to find a model between 2010- 16 in India. You are going to have to check that with SBK dealers maybe some of them might have one for sale.

If you buy an imported bike like the R6 or 600 RR u might have to get it done from a mechanic who services imported bikes.

The import custom duty is not paid on the bike, hence making it illegal.

R6 vs daytona which one would you prefer??
That's an interesting question, as I love both.. well keeping in mind our current situation as the newer models of the R6 is not available I would buy the Daytona but if Yamaha decides to launch the R6 in India I would definitely prefer the R6.

Please don't put yourself through so much of trouble, as Indian customs rules are super stringent.Would be much better and cheaper if you get one from hear [maybe another bike as its probably difficult to find the r6 hear] Saying this out of personal experience when I imported my personal R1 from Europe faced a lot of trouble. But if you are stubborn to get your bike my advice to you would be get in touch with a good custom agent find out each and every details, duty structure, docs required and the landing cost along with registration only then think of importing it.
