    In a C minor chord we used C Eb G and not C D# G - Even it's the same "actual note" should be named Eb. Why? because D# does not belong to the C minor scale.
    Thanks for the video though.

    Using just chord notes, not even scales as basic material is a "Music Theory Hack"? And a slightly modified 4 note-appregio is a "catchy hook"? I don't wanna sound arrogant or old fashioned, but sometimes I miss the times, when musicians learned to play an physical instrument before they started programming things in a DAW ...

      i see your point but especially in dance music, more complex chord progressions and melodies would distract the listener and the music wouldnt be "danceable". simplicity is the key in these Electronic music genres

      @@Cloud2KK I'm not sure what is cause and reason here. That genre got comercially successfull in the 90ties, when the record industry replaced musicians with DJs and marketed that with big "raves". That shaped the listening abilities of young people, which then became DJs ...
      A friend of mine once held a workshop about electronic music production in a youth centre. The kids were not able to programm a simple four on the floor beat. Once he helped them with that they turned the tempo up to 180 bpm and "danced" to that. For half an hour ...
