Soy opinion, this game is going to kick ass when it's fleshed out. This game plays like rs2 and most importantly IS DRIVEN BY THE COMMUNITY not some shill devs. I'd rather play this game as opposed to what ever AAA garabage is coming out. Also the subtle russian bias is pretty funny ngl. Don't be butt hurt about politics in video games, it's based.
I don’t wanna sound like a hater cause this is better than anything I could put together but I think a certain couple of TH-camrs are learning just how hard and tricky it can be to make a good, all round game
Yeah but the more modding support they get the better the game will end up being. The game could easily compete with the 🗑 AAA companies are making once the game has a good year or two more put into it. It could also be a game that helps people get hired at companies if they can make large/unique enough content.
@@patrickjohnson5245 and? COD MW 2019 was made about the war in Syria, that still ragging today and killed more people than even Ukraine, the difference is that this is a goofy mod, that has a Campaing with political messages, not that its wrong, just don't act like this is the evil because you care for Ukraine war or something
Not sure if my comments are blocked on this channel yet, but I wanted to leave a comment (not for Moi) but for Skiddle, Ponchovie, and the other modders who made the content featured in this video (who I know will probably watch this) who have been getting targeted and bashed by content creators recently. Guys... I just want you to know how much I have loved watching you be excited to make some of your first mods ever. I know for some of you... this is some of the first work you've ever created. For something made by people with little to no experience in Unreal Engine 4... what you all have made is (in my opinion) a huge achievement. I'm so happy that Operation: Harsh Doorstop has been a free place for you to happily experiment with Unreal Engine 4 development, and to make things you enjoy making. People like yourselves are the exact reason I made this game, and I love seeing people in the community who actually understand why having an open Unreal Engine game (even a barebones janky one) is so much dang fun. I hope after you watch MoiDawg's video here, you'll see this comment... and you'll know that no matter how much people try to bash you for spending your own free time to make something you and your friends can play and enjoy... that you'll have still me (and our community) who support your development journey, and who believe in helping you create awesome things (even if we're still just a ragtag group of dudes living off minimum wage doing our best to make a fun game.) Thank you all for making the dope mods you made. I know you all know for a fact how much fun both I and the rest of the community have had not only playing your work, but also watching how excited you have been to create it. Please don't let videos like this discourage you. I don't care if you haven't yet updated that volume block on the edge of your map... who cares, its still dope... and I am super impressed with what you've made. That's all I have to say here.
the game is lack luster in too many ways man. yet another project taken out of the oven when its still completely raw and gooey. i think people are rightfully justified to give negative reviews about getting totally unfinished content. even if its free and even if its labeled early access.
Just like we didn't let all the negative streamer videos about squad get us down either. fuel for the fire! No-one who hasn't done it can tell anyone how easy/hard it is until they have. It literally takes many years to produce these types of games. Harsh door step is 2-3 years in and just starting to solidify all its core systems.. given 2 more year maybe it worth playing.
Fair criticism for sure, but the irony is that Squad was a jank sometimes broken mess for years and one of the most played maps is based on the War in Donbass, as in, Squad was effectively doing the same thing during it's development period. I think a couple others may be based on Chechnya. It's fine to get political too, but saying you don't want to and then clearly want to while pulling up military budgets is odd. Just speak your mind, pretty sure that's what most people fight for to begin with.
@Swiss It's a video game where creators aren't bound to facts so the desire to use them to make a statement suggests the motivation is political especially after saying they don't want to be which often ends up with people doing it anyway. Common misdirection. You can change the US Army to fight with paintball guns against Star Wars clone troopers. It would be fair to assume that's probably not a political statement, but if someone really wanted they could decide to say it is, which is fine. However saying you don't want to make a statement and then beating around the bush to effectively make a statement anyway isn't really necessary, just say what you think. Here's an example: I don't think the 2 separate mods on a World War 1 map should be taken very seriously. Conversely if people think it's intentional to stir up drama, then just call it out, but like I said, Squad already did that, even if that wasn't their intent (which if you use that reasoning there then it might be reasonable to use it here too), and it would be ironic to see people who play Squad saying that, which is part of what I think explains all of the above. The point I'm trying to make here is that it shouldn't be a big deal to make a political statement on something you care about, because if this was really as simple as "mods for this game aren't good", it wouldn't have the second video made on the topic and focused solely on this, and yeah, mods in a video game aren't good enough? Okay? Welcome to gaming??
@@pcrizzwhen u make a game and put some facts in it that does not mean u have an agenda that mean u want to simulate the facts so every one can have a realistic experience But when u do a game and put some imaginary things to twist some facts it defiantly means u have an agenda Focus only in simulated games not some MMO RPG magical world Try to not have double standard cuz if u will hate squad for doing some agreed facts then why u do not hate others for doing agenda to non fact things ? Lmao, imagine working on a mod by yourself and don't have 2 copies of yourself lmao. Now I going to cry about how I am not patient and want mod + game to be ready even when Bluedrake said it was going to be on early access.
The "too soon" argument has never made sense. When does war suddenly lose its seriousness? Why are the world wars, vietnam, and middle eastern conflicts acceptable but not specifically ukraine? Did millions not die in the world wars or something or has it just been so long that it doesn't matter they died? It should either all be acceptable to make art (games) about or none of it. What about movies? Is it "too soon" for a ukraine war movie? What about drawings or paintings? What about songs about the conflict? All of those things are art intended to either inform or entertain the consumer, so what makes video games any different?
FYI, this is not a game, it's a mod, actually it's a combination of mods - on a custom server - in a game that does not yet have automatic mod downloading upon server join, so he had to very intentionally download the corrwct combination of mods to play
That's probably the point tho? Free open source modding tools to make whatever you want? I was never under any pre-conceptions that the game would be this amazing whole experience neatly bowtied... Squad, when it first released had infantry only PVP. Now look at it...
@@mental720s PR is stuck on a 19 year old engine and it shows for how utterly clunky the gameplay is... comparing squad to PR is like comparing pac man to quake.. stupid comparison.
but in the early days of squad it was actually fine unlike this piece of garbage. there is a reason why there is legit not even 300 people playing OHD and it hasnt even peaked at 2000. the games gabarge the mods will be better but i fucking doubt they will ever compete with squad
I love this game so much. 100% worth playing. Easy to get into for some fun just wished more people talked in the game. Also, a recent update made joining servers much easier as it auto-downloads mods for the server. So far this game has improved loads and has constant updates always improving the gameplay experience.
What’s wrong with recreating battles in a current conflict? We all do it with past battles throughout all of history via video games. What makes it so bad? How recent it happened? The US left Afghanistan a year ago yet people still play games with insurgents/taliban-type forces vs USA yet it’s no big deal. People need to stop being babies about everything.
It feels really out of touch to have fun playing a game about people who are currently actually fighting a war. I know you live in the US and it seems really far off for you but here in Finland everyone was worried that our country could have been invaded too and it feels wrong to use the situation to have fun.
The Wagner one is mostly based around the 2010-2022 Wagner where most of their units were more traditional PMC style former Spetsnaz, VDV, and Russian Marines. However, since they are now in the thick of the fighting, they have conscripts from prisons to boost their numbers. Also, Ukraine got a patch to give most of them optics soon after, so it's more balanced now for anyone watching this after this comment.

Maye he has played completed games like squad, sandstorm, ... for a long time so he didn't like the gameplay of OHD. I meant OHD's gameplay is kinda not good right now but it's early access + free for that reason. I meant If anybody look at Arma reforger last year, pff OHD is much better.
I’ll say this the game is rough but I love the concept/idea behind it, having the game be funded for production then released to the public with all the tools is amazing & would be absolutely fantastic if the mainstream did this however I wish the game was polished more THEN released
I've been playing it for a week now and I like it. I think the word "free" is not the main one I think, maybe "community driven"? also early access. It is like a developers build at this stage. I think it is a good start and has solid ideas that need to be further developed. Many of the think you mention about your experience is provably valid for that particular server, I have played in a bunch of different servers with different features and configurations, is like the experience across servers is not necessarily "standard", it very much depends on the configuration and I see that they're experimenting with different scenarios, rules, constrains etc.. Like I said, I like it, it is usually fun to play. It lacks many things at this stage but the fact that is community driven is refreshing
That's a fair and even assessment. I think there a few valid salt miners around though when it comes to development progress criticism. If you had seen the build up of criticism that proceeded this project.. you would have a slightly different perspective. Developers of other games were scorned or mocked and told.. Game dev is easy. you guys are just lazy. Now what we have after nearly what 3 years.. is a vastly under developed product. I support User generated content and a huge mod booster. So I will keep watching and supporting here but.. there is a large can of humility that needs to be cracked and shared by the guys building this.
Sorry to ask this but are we going to get a continuation of the war 83 series or a new foxhole series soon I watched the whole series in one night and I need to see the Royal spuds in action again you guys are awesome
To be honest, we need more games where a team has cheaper equipment than the other team. I mean, I still have a lot of fun fighting with Mosins and SKS in RS2:Vietnam. But in this case, I think both sides should have the same type of equipment with small differences per class.
i mean squad is literally that the middle eastern side relies on trucks with turrets and ieds and ied drones while the other side has actual military firepower
the whole concept of harsh doorstop is genius - but it's not really worth it until there's some more complete/finished mods in the game - it all seems like a beta right now.
Give it time. Yes, I know they might have bitten off more than they realised but as someone who cannot play MP due to a hopefully temporary eye problem, I’m enjoying the single player version. I also play ARMA as it’s the only other title with a single player option (other than the arcade-y titles) but ARMA is a lot more complicated to just bring up a battle due to its higher realism milsim focus (Contact aside :D). And I’m finding the ARMA3 visuals just a bit, er, old, now. As I work in 3D when not waiting on eye surgery the look is maybe over-important to me. Anyway, I understand the criticisms but I’m having quite a bit of fun anyway, and that’s the goal for me.

bluedrake has been doing the same thing for years and years which is his passion, covering tactical shooters. now he's making a tactical shooter which will basically be a framework for modders like arma 3 but on a significantly smaller scale with mods, i'm sure he'll be working on this for 5-7 years even especially with his passion and i'm sure it'll come out as something great
i completely disagree. This game has alot of potential and the devs are doing a great job at keeping us in the loop and coming out with good updates especially since its FREE you can make the game to almost anything and i even think it has good potential to compete with the bigger titles in the future
it looks like shit, plays like shit and has no real content. Expecting modders to carry your game is lazy and a bad idea. I think this game will outright fail if they keep using that excuse, because its not hard to find any other modern shooter better then this

Wanger getting red dots is not that big of a deal, tho stuff I knew they got more optics than Ukraine there, the idea is something like TDF vs Wagner, wagner is actually really well equiped (but not in this way, yes they are hence why sucess if you look at maps and stuff), meanwhile the territorials are conscripts (hence why they are not give super weapons) The problem tho is that people got too political, which kinda expected that guy just removed the comments on the mod. Either way the problem he has is that RPGs are not as usefull as scopes, but removed that, Wagner getting Tarkov tactical reloads is probably just because of how he got those models, not a statement over who has best guns and stuff.
It could go both ways imo like if the Ukrainians were very well equipped and wagner isn't it, wouldn't be technically wrong because it all depends on which units are fighting (UKR SOF vs non-assault units)
@@rllybigguy that is true, this is why its better to do a 1x1 level, so both gets 1 scope rifle, 1 mg same ammount of everything else than slighty different
Wouldn't it make sense for the private military company to have scopes and attachments since they're a private company rather than a regular state military?
It’s pretty much how it is, aliexpress optics and kit and most conventional forces of Ukr don’t have kitted our guns wether it’s because they’re TDF or just conventional with iffy logistics
PMC groups with actual good soldiers would have kitted out rifles with expensive gear. Wagner is not that, their company is largely made up of convicts who have no prior military experience. You're thinking of American PMC groups that are comprised pretty much entirely of ex-soldiers/SoF.
Exactly, idk why people are propping up Wagner forces for something that they’re literally not. Theirs is tons of videos and photos of them wearing basic kit that many soldiers and even groups around the world have. They’re nothing special, azov even shares tons of equipment wagner has.
Just saying but Ukrainian-Russian war is on going not from 2022 but 2014. If you had no issue with Afgan or Iraqi maps in Squad you really shouldn't be complaining about politics in other areas. Also Wagner Group is professional private military group that fought in Syria or Africa for years already using top class equipment. In Bakhmut tho there are two Wagners - one well equipped, based on ex-military specialist and other conscript one so little research before video would be nice in the future ;) And... it isnt like Ukraine get tones of aid and they use scopes all around their infantry - actually what mod potrait is more realistic than any Squad/PR/Arma approach probably because majority of Ukrainian Army surely doesnt use any optics.
@@Dili832 biased or not its truth Russians just producee more and better things There is a reason ukraninas are mobilising and basicly hunting man on their streets while russiana dont...cause of losses of course
But there is mobilization in Russia though? Obviously it’s not going to be on the scale of Ukraine because the two populations considering military strength aren’t really comparable. Russia creating better equipment is also very debatable considering the two nations tons of the same equipment, the equipment you see on basic troops on the Russian side isn’t even remotely too tier and even a lot of common equipment the Ukrainian soldier may use is by far more superior than their Russian counterparts considering it is vastly given from the west. Both sides have huge mobilization efforts and both have their fair share of bad equipment which can be seen in videos, photos etc but come on, this mod is a tad bit goofy. It’s still not “too soon” though because it’s just a video game and no one else cries over past wars.
@@Θωμάς-ξ5ψ mobilization vs the draft... there is a difference, mobilization is when active or reserve soldiers get deployed, the draft is where your 40 year old uncle is deemed fit to serve... Ukraine is doing both, Russia is only mobilizing
@@bingbong6127 I'm well aware of the difference but Russia mobilizing troops is still essentially drafting troops into service because a huge majority of them are listed as conscripts. Thier reserves can just as easily be put into a conscript tier judging from their quality and actions on the frontline. Russia may just say they are only mobilizing but reality says otherwise, hence people from villages super far east of Russia being sent to the front kind of proves that, doesn't really make much sense to pull farmers from crazy far away to fight on a front if only a general mobilization is happening when they could easily pull people from nearby reserves, bigger cities etc than people who are no doubt just conscript level troops.
Wagner getting slightly modified AK-74's with camo is completely made up? Even a quick Google search would prove otherwise, let alone a thorough following of any of the conflicts they were and are involved in.
When I clicked on the video, I thought it was going to be a Ukrainian developed game with a donation button to support the country, which I would have found very interesting to see who is developing what in a country that's currently fighting for its very existence. I can't even say this is "too soon" because it's a mod for a game and except for the names and some minor visual queues, you wouldn't be able to tell what the scenario is or who's fighting.

you're acting like the game devs made a ukraine war game (aka bluedrake) which they didn't, it's literally a community server just based around the ukraine war conflict?? these types of things are literally everywhere including arma 3 more then likely?????
I think one issue with the weapon selection would be due to different modders' choices, although I looked up both of the faction mods utilized and they're by the same person. I suppose I'll continue on the point even if it may not totally apply here, I mod a similar game known as Ravenfield - and an issue with all these different mods is that modders have different ideas on balancing - and it isn't the easiest thing to unify the balance of peoples' mods. As an example, you could have three different M14 mods out there and each one functions differently - maybe one is higher damage, higher recoil, one is lower damage and recoil, and another is high damage and low recoil. I have heard that OHD is planning on letting weapons not be locked to factions, so you can swap out the weapon presets per faction (eg. Vietnam GIs with WWI-era weaponry). I don't know how easy it is to mod OHD, but I do notice a credits section in the description with quite a few models from other creators utilized. Coming from the experiences of a modder myself, modding can be difficult to get into at first as you're learning new systems 'n whatnot. Shoot, it took me around three months to get an incredibly poor-quality Baker Rifle mod working, and I'd imagine a lot of these modders are pretty new to the scene given the game isn't all that old. Given the graphical fidelity of the game, I'd also imagine it would make much more sense to have more people in projects specialized to things like animating, modeling, UV unwrapping, rigging, weight painting, scripting, compiling, etc. etc. So that'd be a lot of work for just one person, though not all of it is required depending on what you're doing. After all, these faction mods do appear to be made by one guy with the assistance of some models from others. In terms of the mod being tasteless, I don't have any issues with it. Shoot within the first few opening weeks of the conflict I've seen mods themed around it come out - but it's really no different to any other ongoing war with people fighting in it, or even historical wars in theory. Besides, the mod description clearly states that any political messages will be deleted. I should also point out that the author is also aware of balance issues and is currently working on a patch according to the Steam comments.
Moi this reeks of smarminess. I don't understand breaking into factions over different games you play. Yeah the devs touted it as an ARMA killer but amateur game devs can be forgiven for hyping their own game. A month removed from your last video of you saying its a "wait and see" so continue waiting...yeah it sucks right now, but squad has roots in OG Project Reality and PR contributors that also happen to not just mod but introduce current conflicts into their base games. Lots of needless pearl clutching in this video that seems a lot like Squad VS everything media. I'd rather support a game like this than keep playing Squad with pay for play content, and yes, both of these games need course corrections. I've ceased playing Squad for a bit now and I was keeping up to date with it using your channel, but I think I'll use a different channel for that now. Good luck.
I find it odd that I've now, in two videos, said that I think OHD has a bright future, but right now is not the time to play it and because of that you've been offended enough to post this. I'm not going to fake my enjoyment of this when it's so incredibly bad despite future development having a lot of potential. I've posted many videos blasting Squad. I generally dislike Arma since I don't like playing against AI and games that take over a day to set up. OHD is not a fun game right now. I'm sorry if you don't like hearing it, but it's not. I would have guessed that the mod that has been the most popular one in the server list for the past week or so would have actually had content but it doesn't.
@@MoiDawg Thats fine, just say that, why are you going "Look at this, its LAUGHABLE, don't bother playing it" Nothing in this video needed to be said from your last video so why keep reiterating it and dunking on OHD? I understand your points but you also have to factor in that it's in very early access and I bet it's been in development a fraction of the time hell let loose or arma was in. The point I'm trying to make is that if you give it a year or 2 it will most likely meet a majority of expectations that the fans have
Wagner is better equipped than the Ukraine military, most of Ukraine's military is old soviet weaponry... this is just a simple fact, like it or not. The standard rifle for Ukraine is the first generation ak 74, while for Russians, its the ak74m or ak12... additionally, Wagner assault groups are better equipped than regular Russian army, they are specialized and thus get better equipment
5:32 idk if you are just complaining on how everyone has scopes, but Wagner assault units (the ones being to assault urban areas, with cover of artillery) are usually very well equipped, compared to regular units that just have vintage AK-74s
Technically Wagner does have good equipment when you actually watch their videos. They are contractors who served in the Middle East, Africa and currently fighting in Ukraine.
It's free and on early access. So yeah it will definitely be bare bones and lacking. I mean what do people expect? It's on early stages of development, the guys working on it are also learning the ways of it, and since it's free you cannot really expect them to have the same resources and man power as a paid game would have in how large their scope of the game they wanted it to be. I mean man, there are Paid games out there that are either a scam or straight up money cash grabs. I'd say give them sometime and understanding. Cause in the end of the day it's free game, you will lose nothing playing or not playing it.
Calling Wagner a convict force is only half true afaik. Judging by Perun's video essays, they have pretty capable assault troops. The convicts are sacrificed to reveal enemy positions and then the pros come in at night for the actual attack. However, for a realistic modelling of Bakmut one would also need to reflect the difference in objective. It seems like the UA forces are currently in the defensive, potentially preparing for a future offensive, so their goal is to inflict attrition while not loosing too much ground, while Wagner needs PR victories to secure their place in Russian politics.
PMC Wagner have been around since the Syrian war back in 2017 and even in Africa as well, I think he's just Biased giving how he gives reviews without getting, "Political" without even having prior knowledge to back it up.
Basically the Operations game mode from _Battlefield 1_ would be perfect for this. Heck... _Battlefield 1_ would be the perfect place to start for a Russo-Ukranian war mod...if only it was moddable.
wagner has billions of dollars so they def have scopes and suppressors and such while ukraine only the yellow armbands are well equiped and green is just taken of the streets
So if wagner have “billions of dollars” why Prigoshin asked about help and saying like “We don’t have enough supplies like 70%”? And can you make your sentence more understandable? Because I’m not braindead so much to fully understand you
Yeah the optics in the Ukraine/Wagner mods baffled me as well. I mean Wagner is known to have some of the best equipment compared to most other Russian battalions and regiments but even still Ukraine soldiers are far better equipped. The mod creator said something about balancing is the reason for the weird optic choice but like you said it’s laughable how silly a choice it is to have one side with all irons and the other with all scopes and optics.
if you think this mod is not realistic then you can make a better one. this was made by a one guy who was learning unreal as well. if you dont like it then just ignore. no need to make a video to cry about it LMAO
@@trazercreations8478 it’s absolutely unrealistic. Not hating on the work just stating the facts. @@Prometheus7272 please link me up with the source. By no stance am I saying Ukraine is kitted to the teeth with every soldier but making a mod where Everyone but the squad leader has irons. That’s just stupid. Both sides Ukraine and Wagner have a similar amount of optics on the rifles with maybe a slight edge to Ukriane as Wagner doesn’t equip their conscript soldiers well.

Moi probably got bribed by them with the infinite money they have just to say this free game sucks, and instead persuade his viewers to burn their money on crappy expensive cash grab games like Battlefield 2042
If you can play a game about Americans killing Japanese during ww2 then you shouldn't have any qualms about playing a Russian killing Ukrainians or vice versa,
im running the game on a gaming laptop, so far my experience has been mixed. i Genuinely think it can be very unique, there are many casual aspects to it too though and there is somewhat a strong emphasis on a tactical shooter. The perfect placed for this game is to hold it where its at and get rid of all the casual aspects and stick to realism in the "foot soldier aspect" that's where that's where it will do the best for the time being. With that being said lots of things are bad in it, things that are crucial for a simple mod experience too not a full fledged multiplayer game. Though it isn't meant to be a game it should still not be as buggy as it is, fix its combat movement, get rid of the arcade-ness of the combat and fix its AI. Now if Bluedrake sees a future for this game, him and his devs need to take it way more seriously than they already do, of course unless they want to leave it a community modding platform then that's fair, otherwise they have to fix much to even have it be a good 10v10 tactical game. This so far has been an okay yet irritating medium scale milsim shooter, but again a long road ahead for it to gain a good reputation and respect across the FPS Genre.
agreed, though i assure you bluedrake is taking this game 100% seriously especially with his unbreakable passion, i could see him working on this for half a decade or more and i believe it'll come out as a great modding platform with great mods and experiences
let me explain, so the ukrainians use ak74s and russians use ak12s with piccatiny rail, though its unrealistic since not that many russians would have scopes in 1 squad
Nah it’s a balancing thing. Mod creator mentioned it in the description of his mods. Something about giving Wagner better optics since Ukraine has a better squad lead and AT. Nonsense but that’s what he said.
Wagner irl, at least PMC part is really well equipped, much better than regular Russian army so wdym? Majority of Ukrainian army looking like one in this mod tbh and you can clearly see it in any type of sources. Anyway I can't imagine the type of all chat conversations that are happening on a multiplayer server where you cosplay and active conflict.
i really don't understand your criticism of mods on this game i can understand criticizing the base gameplay but the majority of content you show and complain about is user made mods i don't know what you expect from a games community after just a couple months and i don't think it is fair to criticize the game as a whole when you blame it on the work of others ie modders. i can agree that the game isn't the best and that you shouldn't throw away your opinions just because its free but criticizing it based on the user made content doesn't make a lot of sense if you really care to give this game a fair shot, witch i think you don't, you should wait till the end of the year to look it at face value.
I know this is in early access but boy does it feel undercooked. Like you can still hype the game and release demos but this shit is barely playable right now.

I hope after you watch MoiDawg's video here, you'll see this comment... and you'll know that no matter how much people try to bash you for spending your own free time to make something you and your friends can play and enjoy... that you'll have still me (and our community) who support your development journey, and who believe in helping you create awesome things (even if we're still just a ragtag group of dudes living off minimum wage doing our best to make a fun game.)
Thank you all for making the dope mods you made. I know you all know for a fact how much fun both I and the rest of the community have had not only playing your work, but also watching how excited you have been to create it.

How is pulling up literal facts being political? Saying something like the U.S. army is stronger than Iran's army isn't getting political.

Russians just producee more and better things
There is a reason ukraninas are mobilising and basicly hunting man on their streets while russiana dont...cause of losses of course

_STALKER 2_ is a game currently being developed by Ukrainian devs who are very much struggling right now. That's being published by *Microsoft* and is one of the biggest upcoming Xbox titles.
_Metro: Exodus_ is a game with _fascinating_ story. Moscow Russian writes some books (METRO 2033-35) Ukrainians in Donbass make a game of it, make another game, war started in 2014, they flee, start making third game, get bought by northern Euro company, finish third game and move the dev studio and all of their families to Malta. In 2019. They just beat COVID, if they hadn't, they'd still be Ukraine when the third invasion started last year...
I highly recommend you learn more about 4A, I think they have dev diaries on TH-cam.

squad users when there will be shitting on brand new tactical games at the function (even though squad was complete horse ass when it first came out)
I think one issue with the weapon selection would be due to different modders' choices, although I looked up both of the faction mods utilized and they're by the same person.
I should also point out that the author is also aware of balance issues and is currently working on a patch according to the Steam comments.
people really playing this like it's a finished game, guys, it's not finished, the mods are gonna make the game good, like many other games

The offensives already happened and failed. They're simply trying to not lose 7 more Battalions in the cauldron.
There fighting in bakhmut still because they have no option to retreat. They have no MSR's, they're all under russian control or shelled to oblivion.
PMC Wagner have been around since the Syrian war back in 2017 and even in Africa as well, I think he's just Biased giving how he gives reviews without getting, "Political" without even having prior knowledge to back it up.
This. Pretty much what I said in my comment. Wagner are better equipped than most other Russian forces but Ukraine is way under equipped in this mod.
Basically the Operations game mode from _Battlefield 1_ would be perfect for this.

im running the game on a gaming laptop, so far my experience has been mixed. i Genuinely think it can be very unique, there are many casual aspects to it too though and there is somewhat a strong emphasis on a tactical shooter.
