Thanks so much for sharing this. I'm just getting into beading on a loom like this, and so this was very helpful for me. I love that there were mistakes in here with easy fixes and that you patiently showed how to fix them. Thank-you. 🙂
This must be very Satisfying once you completed the Project....I was into tapestries long time ago and it look like the satifaction at the end will be the same.... I am going to start off with a Loom and see how it goes !!! I am going to follow you...tks..
Please, please oh PLEASE start doing some more tutorials on bead weaving with Mirrix! Like how do you make your bead tray? How did you create your bead pattern? How do you blow it up like that?
DITTO! Please MORE beading tutorials!!! Also, I'm starting a huge beading tapestry ....what tricks do you have up your sleeve to getting that first row started on a 241 warp project? I am using a Mirrix loom. Thanks in advance!
I like to start with a couple rows of a heavy thread, like Peaches & Cream or a crochet cotton. Then I do a hem of about 1/2 inch of the same thread I weave with (usually nymo beading thread).
Though I've been beading for awhile I always avoided small beads. Now in my 70's I find delicas and small beads very relaxing and would like to get a larger loom. Do you have any advice or is there anywhere that you show your work? You've really inspired me! Thank you for this video.
I like the Mirrix looms the best, mostly because I can adjust the tension as needed, and I can warp it so it goes from top to bottom then back to top, and not all the way around the loom. I don't have anywhere that I show my bead art, but I am working on adding it to my website. Just not enough hours in a day. I will try to add more videos more often though. Thank you for watching!
@@paulettemorrissey9428 Thank you so much for replying. I did buy a Mirrix and found warping it much easier than I thought it would be . I was delighted by how sturdy it is and am working on small projects while learning to tension the loom. Look forward to more videos!
🇨🇦😲 That is a bit extreme., don’t you think?!?! 😂 how long did it take? 5 years!! And will you sell it for a million bucks?!?! Will it be worth your time??!?!
I need to make a pattern for a Native straight dance belt. Do you have a software program to recommend? The belt will use #11 sead beads. It's 4.5 inches x 32 inches
I love your super organized and methodical way of doing this!

I will be doing more bead weaving tutorials, I have gotten really off track for the last year, building up my main TH-cam channel for quilting.
I will make a video on how I make my little bead tray. It’s very handy for bead weaving!

I like to use Delicas size 11 for most of my bead weaving on a loom.

Thank you! I buy them on Amazon. I like size 10 and 12 beading needles.

I really like how you can warp their looms so the warp is not a continuous loop around the loom, and instead be only a front layer of warp.
Where did you get the cloth bead matt?
🇨🇦😲 That is a bit extreme., don’t you think?!?! 😂 how long did it take? 5 years!! And will you sell it for a million bucks?!?!
Will it be worth your time??!?!
Lol, it is extreme, but I do it for the enjoyment, not to sell.
So much patience! Where do you get your patterns from and do they come printed that large?
I make them myself with software called BeadTool4. I do screen shots of each page in the pattern, and adjust the size when I print them.
Hi . Is it ok to make a video about your loom ?
Where can i buy patterns or kit.
I need to make a pattern for a Native straight dance belt. Do you have a software program to recommend? The belt will use #11 sead beads. It's 4.5 inches x 32 inches
I use BeadTool4 for all my bead design work.
That's the program I use it is really hepful
THIS IS SO RELAXING!! do more VIDEOS@!$!@~##@!@!!!!
Thanks so much!! I will be doing more, I just got sidetracked a bit by my other TH-cam channel for quilting.
What size beads are used here please?
I use size 11 Delica beads for almost all my bead weaving.
Uh oh i think i have a new hobby
How do I make the bead patterns? Is there a program ?
Thank you
I use a beading program called BeadTool4. There are others online to use, but I prefer this one.
