I’ve never had copies of Bullocks or The Clash debut on vinyl. CD, but not vinyl. Just listened to Fresh Fruit and Under the Big Black Sun the other day. No X-Ray Spex? 😆😎 Seriously though, great list.
you need to listen to both on a good rig....They sound fantastic....flushes the CD's IMO and make it the Brit version of the Clash, how they intended it.
Black Flag was hands down the best the lead singers, their approach to music, the shifting of the type of music they played,a perfect band who had a great vision for themselves and sst records, even their concert posters were special.punk music was veried miles of diff between the germs and the clash,in terms of scope and vision.for me there was the SEX PISTOLS then everyone else the one album they put out and original singles changed everything,,blew everyone out of the water one album and they wiped prog, rock, disco, ect out of the park, and they only barely toured,in fact the summer they were around and king tuts tomb was touring the USA,more people were talking in the media about the pistols than tut, amazing they came, they conquered they self destructed.at the time its what music needed it had become so stale, now punk even the name punk was a fixture of rock scene magazine in NY, who spotlighted pistols, ramones, blondie,ny dolls ect in fact first time i heard the term punk was thru rock scene magazine.Good video and maybe a video idea might be usa punk vs English punk, who was better????i have my opinion.good luck and stay safe,i remember seeing blondie and tom petty played the whiskey and they were called punk hahaha, it was all new then, Eddie and the hot rods played the whiskey, punk???????have a good weekend.
I saw the King Tut exhibition at the LA County At Museum. Black Flag were the complete package. Their name, their logo, their flyers and the music was like a brand. It was recognizable at once. Thanks for watching and I always enjoy your comments.
...as expected, a great video - if you don't have a clue who else has it - but the missing 'ramones' breaks my heart ;-) the pistols are way overrated, i would replace it with 'wire - pink flag'! but misfits, minor threat, angry samoans, adolescents, black flag - oh man, more than classix, just epic...
I probably should have included The Ramones. I think Never Mind The Bullocks is better than Pink Flag. Though I do like Pink Flag. Thanks for watching.

Do super black market clash
Great list. Still hunting that English Dogs album
Thanks for watching
Great review! Check out a video for original song "Rock and Roll Sell Out" from our band The Magnadoors forthcoming album Underground Heroes! Will be available on vinyl and CD! th-cam.com/video/Gsopjv2RSCI/w-d-xo.html
Ritchie I have never ever ever bought a punk Album. Were should I start?
It depends on what bands and music you like.
Why is no one talking about the debut of the Adverts-Crossing The Red Sea?
I don’t have that album. Also the Blitz debut is great.
Some great albums there, some I need to look in to.
Guinness should really be drank from a glass to get the best from it, but then I'm just being "picky!" 😊
Great video
Still think that four album run of The Buttholes is the greatest four album consecutive run of any band..great list Sir!
I can't disagree. I love Independent Worm Saloon.
Nice list , i would put Earth AD/Wolf's blood instead of Walk Among us, as it is more relentless and has a more raw sound , some Discharge (Hear Nothing) and certainly some Ramones(S/T)
I probably should have added The Ramones. I don’t have Hear Nothing on vinyl. The Exploited, Cockney Rejects, Four Skins and Rudimentary Peni were all very close to being included. Thanks for watching.
Hi Richie can you please let me know the best type of outer sleeves to get ? Thanks man.
There are a lot of companies that make them. I have been using Square Deal Recordings and Supplies. I prefer anything between 2ml to 3 ml in thickness.
@@vinylrichie007 thanks, polypropylene or polyethylene ?
@@gigsfunk I had to go look. They are polyethylene.
Thank you
I’ve never had copies of Bullocks or The Clash debut on vinyl. CD, but not vinyl. Just listened to Fresh Fruit and Under the Big Black Sun the other day. No X-Ray Spex? 😆😎 Seriously though, great list.
I haven’t listened to X Ray Spex in decades. I never cared for her vocals or the sax. Thanks for watching.
@@vinylrichie007 Yeah. I remembered you saying that before. That’s why I brought them up. 👍🏻
you need to listen to both on a good rig....They sound fantastic....flushes the CD's IMO and make it the Brit version of the Clash, how they intended it.
Classy Vynil Collections . Yea.
That Butthole Sufers album is untouchable. I also love that Fear album you showed! Misfits!!!!! Take care.
Thanks for watching
Great list! But you should have included The Ramones (1976) or Leave Home (1977). Two masterpieces
Yeah, I should have.
Check out the Ten Best Albums 1976 video I just made.
The Butthole Surfers were certainly a force to be reckoned with at their peak. Creep and Cherub still frighten me! Take care, John.
The first time I saw The Butthole Surfers they were the opening band for PIL. John loved them. Thanks for watching. I always enjoy your videos.
Yay, Butthole Surfers! Now I have new releases on my want list. Thanks!
Thanks for watching
Patti Smith, Ramones, descendents, crass
All great
I just picked up two from Jargon Records (Defunct I think)
The Ferrets 'Angry Young Ferrets' Lp and a Jargon Comp.
Strange and sad how an east coast label can be that good and never get any air time!!!! Fuckers.
Thanks for watching. I just signed up on the Jargon mailing list. It looks good and it is new to me.
TOP ❤️
Thanks for warching
I'm proud to say I don't own any of these records. chuckle chuckle... Whoops, spoke too soon, I have the Clash's London Calling. Hopefully that doesn't count. LOL
The Clash were a great band. You would have enjoyed them in concert. All four members had so much charisma. You might like Los Angeles by X. Ray Manzarek produced it and he plays in some of the songs. Its just good pumped up Rock N Roll.
No TSOL? Dance with me
What is that t-shirt?? I don't care who that is on it... I want one.
The shirt is a picture of a guy that has a TH-cam channel but I forgot the name.
I'm a lil bit upset no GG Allin here what say you
Brewski Time.....yea
I had a few yesterday while deciding my top ten 1976 albums for my video tomorrow.
BAD RELIGION "Stranger than fiction"
Classic Punk Rock it's Great Sex Pistols. Johnny Rotten the Best Singer of Punk Rock.
I did a video on best punk singers.
Not a Ramones fan, huh?
Probably should have included The Ramones. Something has to be 21 though.
Lucifer, Pereish I recall sin.
In the name of the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost.
Not sure how that Butthole Surfers album is punk. It's an entirely different sound.
Oh man, that's a great list. She shocking omission is the lack of any Blink 182. They were punk as fuck! THEY WORE EYELINER!!!!!!!
Cheers, Tom
They are 21.
