The 50 Greatest Punk Rock Albums

Disclaimer
These are my favourite punk albums. With punk being around since 1976 and so
many subgenres being recognized, I had to enforce some rules again,
so that this list doesn't become huge.
(1) Punk is an attitude, yes, but punk is first and foremost a sound. So I chose
those subgenres which are closer to the original sound as it was invented back
in the 70's (punk rock, anarcho-punk, Horror Punk, Oi!, UK82, D-beat,
Hardcore Punk, NY Hardcore)
(2) I didn't include things that in my ears are closer to alternative rock like
post-punk, art punk, melodic hardcore, post hardcore etc.
(2) Up to 2 albums per artist.

As a big fan of The Fall and The Jam, I like them to be mentioned everywhere 😁, but I doubt that they would be allowed to appear on this Punk music list.

That's the hell of a damn good list! I immediately fell in love with Radio Birdman's music and Agent Orange and I have massive affection for Nowhere League, Dead Kennedys, The Damned and of course The Ramones.
I didn't feel the first Saints album and I am definitely not in favor of Horror Punk and the bands you chose from that genre. Also I am not a great fan of The Clash, but that only depends on Joe Strummer's vocal parts.
So for me, there's room for five different albums, two of them definitely by The Slits: 'Cut' and 'Return of the Giant Slits' ✌️🍻.

NoMeansNo - Wrong
and SNFU - If you Swear You'll Catch No Fish
are two Canadian bands that could find a place in this list, both hugely influential worldwide
And I always feel Berurier Noir 'Abracaboum' gets overlooked, though it was huge and so original in sound.
Deserves a place in Best of Punk lists

I would substitute about 20 of your choices, but a hell of a lot better list than Rolling Stones. No love for Bad Religion, D.R.I., 7-seconds, cockney rejects..... I could keep going. Good list though. Kudos

Not really for a European people I think you listen a lot of different kind of music not just punk music 😅
