A _"PRINTED"_ User Manual + Tutorial included inside the package along with the device would've been EXTRA NICE and saved a lot of us from all of the running around all over the place Online to acquire this information ~ especially since you're *ASSUMING* that everyone has easy or convenient access to Internet and/or Smartphone Apps!
i mean if you have an action camera you're most likely sharing pictures and videos on the internet so... ???

This is helpful. Thank you. I just bought an Akaso Brave 7 LE and I'm pretty sure the accessories are pretty much the same as these.
Tip: Use the housing instead of the tripod adapter and zip ties. It allows the camera to be much more secure and allows you to easily remove it. It also uses less parts which makes it more compact and less complicated. If you need sound, use the other door with the housing. The waterproof housing won't move or unscrew like the tripod adapter either.
Note: keep the cable tie a little loose. I'm talking about the one that wraps around the camera and mount to keep the camera from falling out. I made mine a little too tight so the case activated the shutter button. This put the camera in a bad state which could only be remedied by removing and reinserting the battery. Took me two hours to figure that out.
The best video so far that shows all accessories and connecting to various items. Great thank you so many accessories which was slightly confusing.

So we need to zip tie it all the time :/ it doesn’t even fit in the clip case without moving around, but what ever going to make it work :p
has anyone found a good way to hold it underwater wih a wrist strap in case you let go?
The mount that goes directly on the camera is that supposed to come with it? Because I cannot find that anywhere
I´ve got a question, can It be somehow mounted on FAST MT helmet like on the nvg mount? like I tought I could just glue the adapter what is shown on the first helmet to the nvg mount. I wonder if there are any other ways to do It or I need to buy gopro ngv mount.
You go through a lot of zip ties with this camera. 😂
Zip ties are easily removable and reusable with this camera. Handy feature for sure.😝
Hye may i know why the quick release buckle is different compare to 2020 edition? The previous one is similar to the gopro type. But 2022 model seems different and bit hard to release… anyone here noticed?

Hello. Just purchased one of these cameras. Can you please confirm, is the case waterproof with both types of backdoors that come with it? In your video you detach one back door that appears watertight for a backdoor that has two slits in it - hence my concern. Thanks

I ended up taking this to Hawaii last week and took the risk with the original case and tried it while I snorkeled, and it worked! No water got in, pictures turned out and camera survived 😂. I did try it in the sink first as a sanity check before diving into the ocean haha. Worked for me but try at your own risk !
The door with open slits is for dry use, while allowing for better audio input.

I must have gotten the wrong model of that black case (called "Clip 1" at 0:42) bc mine seems just barely too small for the camera. When I squeeze the camera in to get it snug in the case it seems like there's not quite enough room for it and sometimes it even pops out! I'm enjoying the camera but I would not trust the case to hold it in for stuff like biking or running with it on my chest, even with the zip tie. 🙃
The clip 1 usually comes with the camera. But some models don't equiped with it. Would you mind sending a pic of your camera to cs@akasotech.com, so that they could check for you?
I can’t even find a computer with an SD slot anymore so I’m hoping I won’t need one and can just upload direct to my phone and share my photos/ videos that way?? Thank you so much for this video. I had a hard time getting the back door off I felt like I was going to break it but I finally got it off and put the waterproof one on.
Thank you for your comment! It's great to hear that you found the video helpful. Nowadays, it's true that many computers no longer come with an SD slot. However, you can still easily upload your photos and videos directly to your phone using the "AKASO GO" mobile app or a phone card reader. This way, you can easily share your content with others. Can this not be mounted to an actual motorcycle helmet like for a super sport? I feel like the adhesive is not gonna Hold The camera if I'm going 140mph
Hi, some of our customers would recommend mounting the camera with a Chin Strap Mount if for a super sport helmet.

I just received my EK7000 and I'm trying to unbox it, but mine is mounted backward on the top of the box compared to the one in the video. I can't wait to try it out, but I really don't want to break anything, and I can't seem to get it to budge very much without applying A LOT of pressure.

Hi, what is the tool used at 00:29 to remove the mount buckle from the waterproof case? It didn't come in the box, and I can't undo the buckle by hand
It's a plastic wrench specifically designed for that piece. You sure it's not in the box? Pretty important piece. Maybe you can contact them?

For the helmet mount does it have to go onto the side or can it just go on the top?
Hi there, it depends on the helmet you owned and the angle you plan to capture. The mount can be used on the top or the side even the bottom, as long as it can be stuck to the helmet.

Followed the instructions on this video for how to install the camera to the waterproof case. In the video the back door with the slits is used so I followed suit. Within seconds the camera was flooded with water, should I have used the original back door?
Yes, if you want it to be waterproof, please use the original back door. The door with holes will allow sound to be recorded but not waterproof.

I bought this camera for open water swimming so I am not mounting to anything. Not sure how to use it while swimming or even how you recommend strapping to a wrist. As it is a waterproof camera, that info would be very helpful! You also need to update the video regarding the 2 backs to the camera so we doing flood the compartment.
Hi, if you want to use it underwater I suggest you buy a wrist mount or a floating hand grip to hold the camera in place.

Only SD cards are required. Different models of cameras are adapted to different types of SD cards. You can tell me which model you want to install it in.
How do I mount to a full mask snorkel?
Sorry this is a hard question to answer in words. Maybe you can just google "how to mount a sports camera on a full mask snorkel" for a video that will make it clearer.
I wish this video showed you how to remove the camera mount from the helmet.

It is REALLY hard to get it off the plastic part of the box. Had to get a very strong person to help and he cut his thumb open. Just know you have to apply a lot of strength.
Honey I'm sorry this happened. When removing it from the box you can remove the waterproof case first. Then lift the clips and pull the base backwards. It's actually quite simple. But this video was taken a long time ago. We'll be updating it again soon with a new video to make it easier to understand.

😥 I think baseball cap is hard to hold a camera securely. Maybe a different cap or a chest strap mount for the camera.
