*Bi-Han tries and gets kicked into the pits of Netherrealm, burning alive in lava.*
Kuai Liang: You were Earthrealm's defender, it was said that you would protect our realm from the forces of outworld and not join them, that you would save it and not leave it in darkness.
Bi-Han: I HATE YOU!!! *Scream and squirm in pain while, being consumed by the flames and his skin melting and his toasted flesh turning black*
Kuai Liang: You were my brother, Bi-Han... I loved you... *leaves.*
*A couple of minutes later, Quan Chi appears and take Bi-Han's soul with him. Days later he wakes up in Quan Chi's workshop. Wearing black, still feeling the pain of being burned alive but his pain was overwelmed by the unlimited rage he was feeling. That was the end of Bi-Han, the chosen one of the Lin Kuei, and the birth of Dart... I mean Noob Saibot.*
Smoke and Scorpions brotherly bond is heartwarming. Both deserve much better than Sub Zero as a older brother.
At least this vile version of him. The brother they deserve is the caring kind who values family and duty above all else. But may I ask what type of man betrays his own father because he thought him weak, or forsakes his own family for unchecked power?

The best part for me as indication of Bi-Han's and Kuai Liang's personalities, I think, is right before they embarked to the Emperor's fort; Bi-Han outright insults Raiden and Kung Lao saying that they will only hinder the mission because they are not Lin Kuei. Kuai Liang remains cool, calm and defusing by only stating that they were trained differently, and that the mission calls for a Lin Kuei's skills.
The funny thing is, both genuinely think they are being betrayed 😂😂😂
Except one of them actually is. Guess who.

Bihan is just not that smart in this timeline. "Let me believe these two (Shao and Shang Tsung) after knowing them for a short time and because I don't trust Liu Kang" make it make sense lol.
Don't get me wrong, I like the story, but I don't like the way they wrote Bihan at all

As cool as the reference is, I pray that he doesn't become Noob in this timeline. He was already Noob for the entirety of the last 3 games.

We finally got the origin of the shirai ryu's creation and rivalry with the lin kuei
Well the Shirai ryu in past timelines where created by a former Lin kuei
Not exactly.
Liu Kang restarted the timeline. But changed things to be different than the previous games.
The Lin Kuei in his timeline begins as protectors of Earthrealm instead of the past iteration where they were mere assassins.
Kuai Liang, the 2nd Sub-Zero in the past timeline-is now Scorpion, still brother to Bi Han and even the scar on his eye.
The original Scorpion Hanzo, is now a young boy found by Smoke and is a student in the newly built Shirai Ryu.
Origin? lol this is an alternate version of their creation 😆

This is a new timeline. That wasn't the only thing that changes.

It's still sad that their is still a rivalry between sub-zero and scorpion...but it seems their always destined to be rivals...Crazy how it's Kuai Liang and not Hanzo although i hope hanzo lives a very peaceful life...

They could have done so much more with Bi-Hab character, making him a morally ambiguous character but they instead chose to make him another power-hungry stock villain…
I saw the potential too. I really hoped he was going to be different. Especially after the trailer’s “United as brothers” line.
What could they have done with him?
They made him a touch too stubborn in my opinion. He failed and it cost him and now the Lin Kuei are outlaws in all realms. And he still thinks he can get what Shang Tsung promised? No way.
I would have been fine with Bi-Han being more ~evil~ now…but they couldn’t even make him be an effective villain, he was nothing but an easily manipulated, power hungry idiot.
I was so disappointed in how they handled Bi-Han I made a rewrite for his lines in the story. I really wish Netherrealm studios did more with his character.

Remember that Liu Kang built the new timeline from scratch trying to give peace to everyone, until the "old" Shang Tsung had to corrupt him. It wasn't supposed to be that way.

Well, in MK9 before being twisted as Noob Saibot, he was pretty neutral, Scorpion killed him, as Quan Chi manipulated Hanzo mind.
So I never got who was the bad guy. I get scorpion has to kill bi Han to begin with but it wasn’t his choice. And of course they have backstories but it never shows who started what
In this timeline Kuai Liang is Scorpion instead of Hanzo Hasashi and Bi Han aka Sub Zero is his older brother who has betrayed everything the Lin Kuei stood for and corrupted it. Kuai Liang and Smoke broke away and they helped found the Shirai Ryu of this timeline. In the Smoke ending he finds a young starving Hanzo and they recruit him.
In this new timeline you can disregard the previous back stories as it's a new timeline. In this new timeline Quai Lang is Scorpion not Hanzo

I always thought that Sub Zero was my favorite character but now that I think about it, it was Kuai Liang. I wish they kept him as Sub Zero because him being Scorpion is just as weird as Hanzo being Sub Zero

To prevent Hanzo losing Harumi, his son and clan by Quan Chi and Sektor. Hanzo tried in MK11 arcade ending restart history, but always failed as Harumi always got killed. I think new Hanzo will be similar to Takeda from MKX

Kind of makes me wonder what Frost will be like in this timeline. Like kind of like many of former villains she's a good guy or girl in this timeline.
Bi-Han could end up becoming Noob Sabot and this time Frost becomes the new Grandmaster and Subzero and she's the one who reconciles the difference between the Lin Kuei and the Shirai Ryu.
Or, something even wilder could happen. Like a reversal of what happened to Frost in the 3d era. Only this time its Bi-Han whose sealed away in ice and ends up locked away in the Lin Kuei temple.

I can't stand how Ed consistently disrespects Sub-Zero in favor of his PrEciOuS scorpion, this timeline made it even worse and the story suffers for his Bias.

This sub zero is a bastardised version of OG Bi-Han, like he was always cold and ruthless but never this power hungry and just plain stupid at times, sad really. OG sub would do anything to preserve the Lin Kuei, this Sub seems tyrannical in his endeavour to strengthen his clan, in his ending he brings back the Cyber Initiative…yh nah, OG Bi-Han would never icl.
