now this is rare content i didn't expect to see. i knew it had a inline 4 and knew it was a 3S-GTE which was from a MR2 if i remember correctly. most of the information i got was through playing GT7
I wouldn't have known without GT. Supra is in my top 5. I own my number 2 which is a chevy camaro! Number one is 550 Marenello. 3 would be the shelby GT500. Shit I lost count 😆
If I ever had a billion dollars, I'd spend as many of them as it took to get one of these built and driveable for myself. Such an iconically Cool car...
This is the reason why my celica ST205 GT4 is an ass kicking monster rally car because this legendary race car is that upgraded 3SGTE engine ST205 celica GT4

Interesting car, it’s not as nicely built as I’d imagine it would have been. What is the gearbox? I gathered it’s a 5 speed dog box with I guessed a Tilton clutch?
@@StavTech Yes people forget that race cars are meant to look good from a distance but up close they aren't polished because there is no need to. I got lucky enough to see up close a Lamborghini huracan trofeo and there was terrible gaps between the body panels, this also to be able to replace parts more quickly. Great video btw.
At the end of the day a race car doesn't have to look good or look like they belong on the street. All they have to do is to function and do their job well and that job is to go racing.
@@Stephenc4877 Nah its exactly what you think when you're talking about a supra race car. The 3SGTE, 3UZFE and exceptionally rare 4TGTE were pretty much the backbone of supra victories in high level motorsports. Carbon/Kevlar by looks of it

TRD wide body kit.
Straight cut gear box.
love the sound of em. pre sure it makes for swapping gear ratios easier when there straight cut .
Wonder was the reason for the engine swap they had already developed and had the parts to make power? 🧐
Limited to around 500bhp due to class rules, so run a lighter engine for better handling
