How do you beat TKD? -stay close to your opponent. How do you beat Muay Thai? -Stay within 300 meters of your opponent. How do you beat wing chun? -outwing the chun.
I was gonna say that. That’s not any wing chun I’m familiar with. Plus the way he moves is Bruce Lee inspired. He doesn’t even punch like a wing chun practitioner.
The black and white footage confused me. The TKD guy had ample opportunity to set up combos with his kicks, throwing strikes to the body and redirect them to the WC's open head. He seemed to be too polite and opted not to do this while the WC practitioner was more than happy to give the TKD player fat lips. Weird, that.
To be honest, TKD kicks look so weak, that's why every opponent don't fear them and continue to move forward even if they take some, and short the distance to punch TKD guy infinitely. In my opinion, TKD kicks are weak because they use jumping and skipping to kick instead of performing a strong momentum the pivoting leg firmly on the ground.
You may say that the Tkd had openings and more, but for she know that? Everyone has different mentality and different perspective. I guess the tkd instructor failed to teach him to capitalize on his advantages and aggression. This is what happens when a student doesn’t learn how to fight and only learn to be flashy.
Us Muay Thai guys really love it when you blade your stance. It's like an invitation to an all you can beat buffet. 😂 We'll gladly take a punch to deliver low kicks and we'll enter with punch while exit with low kicks. After a few, if you're not conditioned, the fight can end.
Not a lot of actual TKD fighters in this clip as far as I can tell, the training in TKD favours bodyshots and kicks especially competition training, but not punching to the face, this makes it difficult when sparring with a fighter from another style, fortunately here in New Zealand our instructors would mix it up when training for self defence on the street, head kicks low kicks, punching to the body and head and aggression was what we were taught. Was interesting to see the different styles though.
LOL. No Wing Chun guy in his right mind would fight or even spar a full time Judo or JiuJitsu fighter with more than 1 year of experience. It would be a 60 second fight with WC guy choked out.
@@repealthepatriotact Yes. For instance, the fact that TKD and savate are specialised in kicks, that doesn't mean they can kick good compared with other styles. Same for BJ Jujitsu and other grappling techniques.
idk if the commentary made WC girl look good but all i see is she was blocking tons of punches with her face just in the first few seconds, the fight would probably be over without that face protector, but kudos to her. and i'm surprised that the TKD girl gassed out so fast. TKD training are usually cardio heavy...
The wing Chun practioner in black with an unorthodox stance reminds me of the movie actor in Master Z. Later Dueling with Donnie yen in one of the Ip man sagas. Great fight scene........this one👉 th-cam.com/video/mAUYfj7bML8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SVRGHCx-Xo8Qu7U2
1st example, the 'wing chun girl' had a reasonable top half, but her footwork was basically none existent, you never run around like that in wing chun, it's all about keeping your feet planted and sliding your feet in circle steps to move around. Without that the whole thing is useless because that is where you generate power. 2nd example that is not a wing chun stance, you should never have your arms down by your leg ffs, ho would you ever perform the basic parry's. 3rd example worse yet, not a wing chun stance in any shape or form. 4th example, yes at last, that actually IS wing chun.
I trained wing tsun for 3-4 years, in the EWTO asociation, when wing tsun was the Big thing in europe in the 90s, just before the mma Big hit. And, i have watched a lot of your videos, and the wing chung girl of the first video IS the closest thing to what i was teached. Almost all the other wing chung fighters in other videos are too scared to close the distance, and they keep the distance and they are beaten, and the Best they can do Is a bad and hesitating Kickboxing. The only thing that the girl seems to lack Is chisao training, to fight in the clinch distance. Maybe because she Is too Young. Anyway, i dont think that wing chung , as much as i loved it, would work against an average kickboxer or grappler, Styles that i trained, too, during more time, if only because they were funnier to train because you did sparring, un like the theoretical wing chung exercises
How do you beat TKD?
-stay close to your opponent.
How do you beat Muay Thai?

How do you beat wing chun?

The second guy trying to fight like Bruce Lee.
I was gonna say that. That’s not any wing chun I’m familiar with. Plus the way he moves is Bruce Lee inspired. He doesn’t even punch like a wing chun practitioner.
Yeah bladed stance and it looks like he can take punches to his body. So probably JKD thrown in.
Second wing chun guy could fight
The second guy have more of Bruce Lee's "Wing Chun" style or JKD even.

I think it's do to no experience, he took one punch of the face and looked confused. The wing chung guy reacts like he is used to taking punches.
ALL of these TKD fighters are low skill. None of them are throwing kicks with enough speed, power, or frequency.
the one at 3:50 is from a meetUp group I used to belong to, I reconize the park and neighborhood! neato

Weight and height advantage for wing Chung was huge
The WC girl in the first clip was pretty good, she had the forward pressure, the footwork, the body structure.
There's something funny about this. Wing Chun requires much practice and dedication.
See if you can find Red Boat Opera. The version of Wing Chun that was popular with the old movie stars and stunt men

In fighting game terms diet Bruce Lee in the second clip was just holding down back and building meter 😅
If tkd managed distance and kept her out she’d do better.
I think the third WC guy is the most skilled among the four, although I like the last one shoving people into walls and stuffs.
What was the WC guy's stance?
Also, Jerry, do you have WC vs Judo? Thanks!

WC has ground and clinch techniques. Their application were demonstrated by Sifu Francis Fong in Kevin Lee's videos.
@antoniostrina82 Lol. Against 2 styles that specialize in takedowns and submission grappling? Please man.....😂😂😂😂

second wing chun guy does not look like wing chun, but I'm here for it. edit: is it jeet kune do?
Last TKD guy had a bit confusing outfit. He wore a yellow belt but his dobok signalled at least fifth dan?
Why do wing chun people always fight bladed when they are taught square stanced?
Second guy might be more jkd
That’s a bai jong
I saw a wingchun guy against the k1 fighter nd wingchun guy got smashed 😂

that's not a TKD match, looks like punch to the face and no kicks to the leg tournament
the tkd fighters are horrid, not using enough feints or punches
Lacking kicks for win chung
Oh no don't fight bare knuckle it's not good for anyone involved
Are you trying to sound like Bill Burr?

This is why TKD has a bad name. You have these low skill practitioners poorly representing the art on TH-cam smh

So many kickboxing champions with taekwondo background. You should wisely select right clips for analysis
Oh, Taekwondo is weaker than Wing Chun.
No. That TKD was not hitting that WC guy hard. Actually he could defeat him.
