    Important to point out that the 30L volume measurement includes all the stretchy pockets, which I have read is more of a standard volume measurement style for outdoor brands. If you don’t include them, they advertise that the bag is about 22L.

    In a younger life, I was more of a backpacker than a traveler, at that time ULA was my go to pack. As I have aged and travel has taken over my get aways ULA continues to be my travel case. I am a huge fan of this small company and really appreciate that you did this video. MUCH THANKS!

      Hey narnialad, did you ever have the mesh rubbing one your clothes cause some pilling? Talking especially about cotton. Save travels!

    • @narnialad1
      @narnialad1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lostintechnology1851 I haven’t had any pilling issues. I do wear both technical fabrics and merino and was out with the pack quite a bit this last week in 90 degree temp and would have liked better breathability on the back, however that maybe the holy grail of backpacks, finding one that prevents me from my back sweating like crazy!

    I just got my Dragonfly in the mail! Since this review the price has gone up to $200 and I also noticed a couple of changes. There are no longer stretch pockets on the straps. I also reached out to ULA to inquire about the material of the stretch pockets bc they don't seem as stretchy as the ones shown in this video. Other than that, its super light and seems like the perfect size for petite folks.

      Yea I don’t understand why they changed the price and took out those pockets on the shoulder straps. I was going to purchase a dragonfly backpack but I changed my mind. It literally went from $160 to $200 in a few months. Weird

    This is a very underrated pack! Do you think this would serve well as a do it all pack? (College, travel, adventure)? Thanks!

    I'm still laughing at that 1990's compact camera you put in that shoulder strap pocket. Great vid.

    I have the atlas and wish it had a little more width vs height. It is lite though! Along the chest strap one could attach the hyper lite Fanny pack, for ex.

    What is the black or charcoal colored pack just off your right shoulder (viewers left)? It’s right between a blue pack and what appears to be a goruck bag.

      I am a huge fan of ULA, they make the packs themselves and while it might add to the time it takes and a little to the cost if you reach out to them I think you will find they are open to doing custom work including pack color abs fabric.

      Hey Carlos! There's a bit of padding between the laptop compartment and the outer fabric, but it's not suspended like some other designs.
