Recently they issued a new pattern that resembles the multicam but the color was changed to better suited with Indonesian tropical environment. The pattern was called Indocam and i do think it was much better than the old DPM
for Finland you should look at their other camo too, namely their snow camo's (plural) the Finnish M-05 camo has a version that has green with some white for when it's lightly snowy and then a full white out camo as well... The Finns take the snow VERY seriously

The previous Joint Military Chief(the highest rank in the Indonesian military) actually came out with a new camo pattern that was heavily inspired by multicam pattern and they were in the process to fully adopt it for the entire army but as soon as he stepped down the project simply "dissolved". He became too popular and made the president very uncomfortable. So they erase every major change that he did during his tenure. Politics is a just nasty

The Army adopted the camo pattern you are referring to (IndoCam) after he already became the Commander of the Armed Forces not as Chief of Staff of the Army (afaik) and he did not "stepped down" he retired naturally from retirement age. The camo you mentioned is also in use still today and still being gradually given to all Army personnel actually. The whole "He became too popular and made the president very uncomfortable" is just your wild theory that is wrong on so many levels lol.
I gotta admit that the current Italian Army desert uniform is good looking, especially with their cold weather jackets. I can't seem to find a good picture of them online.

The funniest thing is that it's basically the same pattern as the current Japanese camo that came later, although in very different scale. The blobs on the Nepali camo is much larger, and is a plain khaki backing color whereas the current Japanese camo is a more sophisticated bicolor background color of green and khaki (multiscalar camo pattern). That being said, the color swatch and pattern shapes are basically identical.

If you compare the current indo dpm to the retro era, the differences are so clear, heck even in early 2000 it wasn't this colorful. I really think they start to brighten it in order to look like it's a brand new uniform everyday.
