I got the wahoo bolt version 2 and their climb pro version is called summit Free ride mode which was a free upgrade for me on the 2nd May this year. I do like the look of the 540 and 840 as the screen is bigger for my old eyes but the price is too much imho and I do most of my rides using Ride with GPS on my iphone and sync the power cadence data from the wahoo at the end of the ride. I think you made a good purchase as the touch screen is a great feature. Keep em coming matey.
Some are saying the Wahoo Summit feature is better as it allows you to also see upcoming elevation relative to your climb as well. What amazing times we live in being able to ride anywhere and pace ourselves.
I have a 1040 Solar and love it. Not too happy with the lag currently impacting climbs but they are into it. Touch screen is the way to go and that’s what led me away from Wahoo.
Hi the handle bar side mount comes with the Garmin, I’m like you I don’t like it. Depending what handlebars you have you can buy them on eBay not that expensive
Yes was thinking of getting that myself, but as I had a 530 I was use to the buttons and went for the 840 as it had buttons and touchscreen and similar size to the 530 😊

Does it come with a mount to mount it the way you have? I only see mounts that go a bit on the side on the handle bar and I dont like that

@@LakeDistrictcyclist my 810 died well the off/on button broke so i am going for 1040 . had the 810 since mid 2013
