Great video as always. The Samurai Shodown series are some of the best Neo Geo games available. It's amazing to think that we now get access to these awesome games on the Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection for a fraction of the cost nowadays. I've got this collection permanently installed on my Nintendo Switch Arcade Cabinet setup and it never gets old. Keep up the awesome work!
Thank you for sharing your experience! This is such a unique review and retrospective. I fell in love with this game. Love your format and the way you tell your personal experience about it
Yes!!!! What a series! When talk of new Mortal Kombat crossovers happen, i always wanted Youkai Kusaregedo for Samurai Shodown V! He's been in my nightmares since i first saw him!
Really enjoying the stories from the arcade. I remember the first time I ever saw a Neo Geo out in the wild, it was really like nothing else out there!
@@nomadjock yep. It's a horror movie about Amakusa Shiro returning to life to get his revenge. He has to fight Jubei. They looks just like the Samurai Shodown incarnations.

Too many memories from a misspent youth, I spent wayyyyy too much time in arcades as a youngster.
This game was heavily inspired by the film Samurai Reincarnation.
As a kid the chance of killing your opponent was shocking.
I never knew that about the film, I will need to look into it for sure.
