    I enjoyed this game. It was very difficult.
    The zooming camera, spirit gauge, desperation moves, and battle damage where ahead of their time.

    Love the massive sprites in AOF and still play occasionally on my NeoGeo Arcade Stick Pro and I think there's also AOF3 which was an unlockable. Keep up the awesome work!

      I plan on having a look back at AOF 3 at some point in the future. AoF had some of the largest sprites I had ever seen in a game and I still remember my jaw dropping when I seen them for the first time.

    This game would have been a smashed hit if you were able to play as the whole cast.

      Yeah I agree, It was weird how in the 2 player you could select far more characters but then when that bout was over you had to select Ryo or Robert.... I had always felt that SNK put more emphasis on the two player. It also did prevent the little bug that was evident in Street Fighter II two player. When playing a single player campaign in SF2, you could literally play a two player just to defeat the roster and go straight to the four kings.
