Venerable Yonge Rinpoche is not only happy, he is pure. When I watch this video, I'm not only seeing a Buddhist monk speak about a central part of practice - meditation - I am seeing an embodiement of Buddha's teachings personified by his character. He has an astonishingly gentle and kind approach to a subject which is infinitely transformative to all people from all walks of life. Long life to Yongey Rinpoche and long life to all sentient beings wishing to develop an open heart and wisdom.

Sometimes meditation can stir up some emotions you might not know you were carrying. Sadness, anger, worry... Keep with it though. Acknowledge those feelings, and then let them go. With enough practice, you'll be able to see where those feelings are coming from.

I like this Rinpoche-I appreciate his gentle, yet genuine way of his mindfulness improved through the practice of meditation. I believe my panic has to do with wanting to believe there IS A FAMILY OF MANKIND TO DEPEND EXISTS-WHEN I HAVE DOUBTS IT DOES NOT! and so tomorrow I shall begin this ANEWED to my better senses which concern US!
More than this-for a start-I can not conceive going past this, which I present.
AND SO, I AM CONFIDANT THAT I WILL HAVE PROSPECTFUL RSEUTS.
...and that - is pretty much it - y'all ALL!!! (MAKES SENSE TO ME!)

Great advice, love and light to you, Mingyur. Your English is very good, I love how you describe a restless mind as a 'monkey brain', everyone can understand it. And for the rest of people with complaints in the comments, I suggest to try to make a video in Mingyur's language and see, if you do as well as he does in yours. Please keep up the good work by blessing us with your knowledge / wisdom. It cannot get more authentic than that - from a real monk from Nepal like you.

Marti it has been several years now since i noticed Buddhism. i was depressed a lot seeing what some have t go threw in some countries. i didn't think religion was helping... no disrespect to any religion. it was just how i felt. Then i started listening to this Dali Lama guy.... going on about acceptance, greed and attachment, and it just all made sence. I have yet to take the five respects... but i think i will soon. If the meditations help you i highly recommend taking a good look at the mind set behind Buddhism. Meditation is helpful but there is soo much more :)

I admire this man. Why? He speaks truth! How do I know? Intuition. I will Garner what I can from him. Our minds can see across time and space ... They are not jokes ... We have untapped superpowers. We can generate millions of volts of electric potential in our bodies ... That and unity consciousness is amazing. I want to defend Earth from creatures undeserving of these powers but that yet seem to have them . We all should ... and turn this place back into heaven on Earth. Not an Orion/Draco feeding place. There is my intent. Good speed to all that have are and compassion.
