      Thanks so much! It's been so much fun to make. And I just love gift knitting so much. Fingers crossed I manage to get it all done with enough time to have a bit of a rest at Christmas!

    Oooooh the Claudia Sweater is so gorgeous! I would love to (text?) knit it. I’m based in Italy too and I’m dying to try out more Italian yarns. I also recently started a knitting podcast too and you were definitely an inspiration for that. Thanks for sharing your projects with us 🙏🏼

      If you find any lovely Italian new yarns let me know! Congrats on your first podcast episode. Your cat is such a cutie + I also am not much of sock knitter.

    Dear Orsa, I am probably at the same point as you were...I have too many stitches at the division part...do you remember how you solved this problem? And would you mind please sharing it? I just cannot figure it out🙈
    Thank you so much and I am really encouraged right now by your experience that it doesn't need to be over now😅

      Hey Orsa, sorry for urging. I am a new to that and I ve just found on Revelry some useful comments that helped me a lot. So now I know I need to look there first for possible advices and just then urge people like that😅thank you!❤

      Hi! No problem. Unfortunately, I don't completely remember my fix for the problem. However, I know that the designer behind Gregoria Fibers is very nice and has recently released some updates for this pattern. It may be worth dropping her a message via email for some help. I hope you manage to work it out :)

Felicidades!

      Hi! I hope that you managed to work it out. I also had problems with the flat part and feel that there may be errors in the pattern. Let me know how it goes for you.

Muchas gracias

      @@chusmahamud3631 I'm so glad that it turned out well for you! Great job and getting the courage to finish it. The pattern is very confusing at the flat section. I hope you love the finished piece!

    Is Brigitte’s lace really worked up on size 1 needles? I keep reading and rereading the pattern description and the suggested yarn and needle size just doesn’t make sense to me. Thank you for such a thorough pattern review. I feel well-warned of the pattern’s shortcomings. However, your gorgeous IG photos make this bag so tempting!

      Hi! Sorry for the slow reply - I'm on holiday visiting family at the moment :) The yarn that she suggests is around a DK, but I used two strands of fingering weight linen for mine. I think I didn't use the 2.5mm needles though. I just used my 3.5mm throughout. I hope that you give it a go and find it easier than I did. May I also suggest metal needles if you have them because my wooden ones snapped shortly after making this and I believe it was because the knitting together of 4 sts in this pattern was too much for them.

      @@OrsaMakes Thanks for the reply! I have metal needles, I’ll use a crochet hook for the knit 4 togs, and I’ll lengthen the handle. Have a wonderful holiday!

    is Claudia a pattern? or why Claudia?

    • @OrsaMakes
      @OrsaMakes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Claudia is the name of the design - it’s my first sweater pattern. I chose Claudia because I like to give my designs people’s names to give them character. And Claudia also sounds like cloudy - because the jumper is like a cloud.
