    You get so many bonus points for the lack of clipping.
    My physics asset+cloth always has it peeking through so easy. Ugh

    this tutorial is great because it is about UE4, other tutorials are like UE4 cloth tutorial and then they start off in 3dsmax or blender or some other 3d modelling software... this is an actual straight up ue4 cloth tutorial.. great job!

    Ok....so I just has that song Fireflies stuck in my head for 3 hours (don't know why), then I sit down at my computer, open up youtube, click on this video, then thought I had gone crazy. What a coincidence!

    I put a cloak in my character the simulation is ok but when I jump the cloth have an offset upwards and even is not colliding with my capsules still have this offset any ideas ?

    Hi, did you make the physics asset of the body to have this very perfect colition or do you have an other and better way ? And just, how do you delete the painting at 2:54 pls ? :)

      maybe check my cloth tutorials? you can delete if you paint 0 for example

    is there away to prevent the skirt from going through zelda's legs like a phantom skirt?

      Dejin1 proper collision settings and it should worl like in witcher 3 i believe

    you think this one also use in some object like pouches and small bags hanging in the belt or those are different?

      Those are different cloth simulation is usually only effective on flat cloths... Others would always look like empty socks

    does skirt has bones? or just skined to the body before UE4...

      If the cloth is to be fully simulated the bone relation should not matter at all.

    hello sir, can you please help me. i have problem where i cann add clothes so i can play with ThirdpersonBP. I made a Blueprint for my Cape added it into the ThirdpersonBP as Child Actor. When i hit Play it works, but the Physics is ignoring the Character Mesh. Its flying through the Body. Even when i Make a BoneColider on my Neck and the Whole Body, the Cape is going through. Where i have to set the Physics when eh Cape is as Blueprint Actor on a ThirdpersonBP ? thank you bro. Unreal forerver !

      Hey I made a tutorial a while ago how to add a cap...the trick is that the cape must be part of the skeleton of the character.

      Cross Taker i think for good collision your cloth part should have a high poly count...and dont forget to set up collision meshes im the physics asset

    Could you please explain briefly how you proceed during rigging/skinning in your 3D package..? Im about to rig a character with some cloth and have no idea if i should weight paint the cloth or what... :D

    This is fantastic and helped me a lot! Except that I wish you also had shown how to set the collision on those legs so that the cloth doesn't blow right through 'em. Still, looks great! Thank you.

    I have a question.
    To this part of the dress, you applied the modifier SKIN in 3 d max or maya?
    And the character and the dress is one object (model) or two?

      Ислам and Truth is all one model and the top of the skirt is skinned to the character...i suggest watching my tutorials

    Great Video. I just can't get the collisions of the boned to work with the clothes. Did you use custom collisions or ue4's sphere collisions?

      Kiwi Hawk no the hair is bone physics but with right settings hair might also be possible via cloth

    Did you fix the physics asset, or just use the default just like your video show, cause I've got some trouble in adjusting the physics asset.

      Hofei Hang the standart physics assets is mostly bad...you have to fit it manually to get best results....AND I think you have to create a new cloth assets whenever you change something in physics asset

      Excuse me,I have got a problem when I try to make a scarf or something like that, I don't know how to calculate air resistance or something like wind, When my character is running, The scarf is supposed to be
      floating up, But it didn't. I have been tried to adjust the Wind drag coefficient and the Wind lift coefficient, and it didn't work either, and I don't know how to work on it, can you please help me with it?

    idk, cloth sim is still rare, some pro teams still using mixed stuff like a lot of bones and some parts is cloth sim, but rarely on a character. I think cloth sim should be like a feature for levels not for a character

      i use GTX 1060 test scene but fps is just 6..
