- I'm happy to share with you my favorite fast, easy and delicious spinach pastry recipe!
I found this recipe years ago in a cookbook called "Secrets of Cooking Armenian / Lebanese / Persian (Amazon link: amzn.to/3Ik4I6G)
It's light and filling at the same time. Full of flavor and good for you as well.

In my humble opinion, this is the only way to enjoy spinach. It is a leaf that I cannot eat by itself but love it in recipes like this. I do like your pastry method, isn't it quick and easy!
And to add another great idea, you have given this the great taste and texture of walnuts...

That’s a great recipe. It sounds delicious; I make something similar, but mine has feta cheese mixed in with the spinach, onions, and pine nuts. I don’t have a big food processor, so I make my dough by hand mixing. It’s not nearly as easy to work with or pretty as your dough is, but it still tastes good. If you do make it by hand, grate your cold butter with a box grater and keep it in the freezer until you are ready to mix it with the flour.

Adding some feta is a really great idea. It would add a little more saltiness as well.
I would love to make the dough with my hands as I like playing with my food XD
But I am starting to get a bit of arthritis, so I need to rely on the tools I have :)
