I feel as if the STY really needs stronger strafing. It's too large of a front cross-section ship compared to just about anything aside from the Kar Tu Al. The Yeng Tu is one of the fastest firing guns in the game so it has that going for it. It's either they give it thicker shields or improve it's directional acceleration.
I don't think CIG hates alien ships at all. The Defender has a lot going for it, for example.
Yes, I agree. The STY needs more agility, more strafe. Let’s wait and see for the balancing tunings, it’s anyway far from finished. I was hoping for more adjustments, but I guess there wasn’t enough time.

Unfortunately it does not. It’s too less agile. But yeah, balance und tunings are anyway work in progress… I hope there will be some further changes soon, especially with the Sabre and San Tok Yai!
@@cataangle Yeah, the Sabre didn't feel great at all, was hoping it would. Mediums need an extra size 1 shield (maybe not Hornets, I fly the MkII mainly and I feel like it's in a good spot). Sabre looks so nice.
I'm also a sabre fanboy! I was really happy that yogi especially mentioned in his post regarding the current state of master modes from a few days ago that he also doesnt like the state of the sabre. :D
