I stayed in the Hilton hotel hua Hin Thailand. The treatment of the staff was equal to what you got at the Atlantis & it cost me €62 per night.

I find $120,000 to lay your head down for 1 night totally obscene,half the world doesn’t have 120 cents a day to stay alive
I tried to find something that justifies such a price. Found nothing. It’s not even the more luxurious hotel I’ve seen on the internet. Looks like a normal five or six star hotel room.
@@EnkiPtah You should leave your town for once lol, like where I live a coca-cola costs 3EUR, but when I take my car and drive 20 minutes further to a different town it's 10EUR. It all has to do with how much people make in that city. Ex. I started to work as system engineer in Bruges Belgium where I was born, I only made EUR3200/month, same job after that but in Brussels I made 5500EUR/month, I then moved to some of my family in London where I had the same job and made EUR12.000/month. And everything in those towns have different prices for the same product.
Room starts from 1.000, it depends on how many people, wich room and seasons.
Its our own reality .. sad but thats how life works. Lets educate the world on that

Hey Harry, I stayed there back in October last year and I had an early check in at 5am when it should’ve been 15:00.. You should try that next time because these luxury hotel can’t say no and will try to accommodate you if they have rooms available. I paid £3000 for 6 night for the Palmscape room and had £200 room credit also… When you go this time of year, it is so expensive. Regardless of how pricey it is, it’s still worth every penny staying at that hotel for sure. Gonna go back again in September for 7 nights and can’t wait to experience it again. BTW, that was really nice of you to treat your mother like that.

Beautiful hotel. When we were in Dubai in 2022 they were telling us about this hotel. They were putting the final touches of the hotel. It was already completed but they were insurring all the final edminities of final touches to the hotel. We also stayed st 5 to 7 star hotels throughout Dubai and Abu Dhabi. And when you are out they usually put up wine and fruits there in your room. When we were there we visted 5 out of the seven of UAE. We had a marvelous time in all of Dubai. I glad you and your beautiful mom had a great time there in Dubai. Thank you for sharing. ❤😊🇦🇪

Priceless moments in an extremely pricey place indeed. Ultra luxurious dining experience in a historical Medieval spirited fine dining, with paltry servings, making fun of each moment with side banters with your Mom. 🥰Lady 'Beauty' from Assam is terrific going the extra mile explaining the menu and other things, so is that friendly lady from Mexico, and the charming Myanmar lass. I like that the hotel have real topnotch and diverse international staff. But every nook and turn is 'screaming' dollar! dollars! since you have to pay and pay even for 'standard facilities' like the pool, etc. 😄Fortunately, "breathing is free!" as you pointed out. Hello from Sweden. "Lax" is salmon in swedish and "dill gravlax" means that is´t prepared raw with salt, sugar and dill. It´s super delicous. Hope you tried it.
Totally jealous, glad you and your mum had a great time at the Atlantis Royal, I only just left Dubai at the end of last year, and I have been looking at staying at this hotel on the next occasion, so thanks for the insight, you present well. I plan to stay here for a week, but the cost is about £4,400 - £6000 depending on what time of the year you travel, yikes !! 😱 so thanks for your video and your exploits all over Indonesia & Malaysia + Pakistan & India which are a real treat, love to your family

The fancy restaurant was not worth it especially after seeing what they serve and what the prices were. the hotel overall was nice with the views decor and design. Staff seemed friendly but i guess they're just doing their job as professionals. Were you able to figure out if the spray was free?

Thanks for showing us this, though; most of us will never get to see what the uber-rich do. Be good to do a behind the scenes/dreams on where the tons of uneaten food go, pay, rights and housing of the workers, particularly the construction workers, energy costs of the hotel and how much oil and gas is burnt to keep them going, maybe the state of the depleting aquifers where they get their water too.

When I was his age I also went with my mom abroad after medical school graduation. We visited Turkey and Greece to see ancient ruins and cities. We went to see culture, not luxury. I like Turkey very much (Istanbul, Izmir, Anatolia) as the people there are old world genuinely friendly. The Greeks were like Westerners, much less friendly, very aloof, and disinterested. I would never for the life of me go to Dubai. It is a fake place, dressed up in luxury but like a Mickey Mouse place in the desert. ----from Chicago, US.

I’m just working hard, so I can escape to the beach for $87 a night. I can’t even afford that!! The most I ever paid for a hotel room was $350/night, over 20 years ago at the Doubletree in Times Square NYC. Back when I could afford those things. Now I’d be happy with a tiny room on the beach.

I’m lucky enough to have visited Dubai twice. It’s so expensive it’s like Monopoly money, it doesn’t feel real. Great experience though to look back on.
Salads are not as healthy as they claim. Fruits and veggies sprayed alot with pesticides and chemicals and not properly cleaned usually.
