30:25 No, no you don't. These guys are super-easy to dodge exactly when there's no walls around. Later there'll be a way to incapacitate and capture them, but the whole point of this mission is to learn to dodge them. 38:43 Note that Pushbacks have a major flaw. They literally push every other item. They _won't_ push any items when the main path got clogged. So, make sure you either keep it flowing or setup jump-pads throwing excess back on the line before Pushback.
I think the reason you were running out of power wasn't because your dispenser-chest wasn't fast enough, but because it was empty. Either the OTHER dispenser behind it isn't fast enough to keep up, or the picker pals can't keep up. The fields that your Pals are in are pretty sparse, actually. There's an enormous field of red bulbs near station 3. multiple screens wide. You'd need a lot of convayers though.
Better placement of the picker pal stations would help make better use of the existing patches, though. Too many pickers focused on too small an area of some of the smallest patches near the base, when spreading them out just a bit more would give them access to a lot more growing space. The plants don't grow any faster just because more pickers are working an area, after all.
8:08 I see two problems with this design: 1. Throwers are significantly slower than using a belt and the further they throw the slower they are. They are roughly equal to belt at 1-2 cells distance, but at loner distances might not be fast enough. Well, at least if you add more production on the line. 2. Seems like you still haven't realized full potential of buildings pulling resources off the belt. You literally can just put a chest at the end and excess will go in the chest. So, you don't have to try to fit dispenser in somewhere somehow. They are mostly useless from my experience. Main purpose of dispenser chests is to stabilize the flow of resources and that's about it. Pretty much the only place where you actually want to use them is your power production.
He said this a while back, but the reason it seems like he's not reading the comments is that he keeps a buffer of videos, so he's always like 1-2 episodes off, meaning anything you comment in episode 1 will only be seen only by episode 3 Mr. Z1 Gaming.
@@EliSmith I bet there is also a wiki. I mean it sucks if a game doesn’t explain its own mechanics well, but there are always resources to figure stuff out. For example for the research things; My first thought would be to use them from my inventory, that doesn’t work so go to the only other thing that has research in its name and investigate that, if that doesn’t work check the internet. It’s fine to try to go blind, but there has got to be a point where you realize you need more information than you are being given.
bro... research packs are for the research factory thing.. there is two option... choose the second.. there will go research packs to upgrade the labs.. also why are you suffocating same glow bulb things with multiple picker pals... spread them a far and make outputs converge in a single launch pad... it will keep the flow correct... also make the first flowing thing at max speed and modulate the second one to control the flow... remember your factorio journey... it is sooo much simpler
Move your picker stations so that they are closer to product you want them to get and use conveyers to get the material to the end point faster. The conveyers are going to move a lot faster than the pickers.
I think you should use your lightbulbs to find more patches of the pre needed for power, then distribute the picker pals amoung the ones you can find so you can have consistent ore feeding your power station, I feel the more of that pre you can get the more you'll be able to explore and see new thing, hope this helps and have a wonderful day!
First thing I focused on was maxing out my lightbulbs asap when I started playing. Then you're stuck at 75 though till you apparently unlock some other resource for power
I'm liking the videos but I become very stressed with some things. Please, don't use those 2 dispenser chests in your power supply. This is what is making your lights go off sometimes. If you have a chest giving 12/min but the other behind is given it 8/min, one time the first won't have materials to throw.
you are missing something with the research lab but you did pick it up before i saved up a bunch of them for like teir 3/4 also i am not all the way through but the best way to deal with the dog pushers is to dodge and use shift when bees are near placing walls just makes them attack it and you at the same time i had collected alot more walls and yeahh it wasnt fun dealing with them also you cant do any more stations right now till you get much further (without spoilers)
Research packs are simply for more research (which have done any since like the initial 3-4)i suppose its practically any factory games objective now a days
damm the game fails so hard on teaching you about the belt pulling. You don't need to have on belt for the landing, the item can land in the target itself, like belt or factory or the generator for instance tip, spread your berry farms more, they are all getting stuff from the same place
Idk if this works but put a conveyor -> chest -> conveyor chest Since i think your power problems also stem form the fact to have 2 conveyor chest or set the first chest to max since that is the bottle neck
This is a bit frustrating to watch someone just run around ignoring everything, haha, like, i understand theres a lot to learn, and I'm no expert, I've only played for a couple hrs, i was looking for some basic tips, but you're wondering why your power is running out while having 2 dispenser chests on the same line at different speeds for absolutely no reason, wondering how to find blue mushrooms while running past all the past androids with mushrooms sprouting from their bodies and searching far and wide when there are so many resources you haven't grabbed as you ran right by them like the supply drops. End of the day, i couldn't speak and play at the same time, so this isnt really a harsh criticism or anything, just wanted to leave my thoughts
HI, you can ues the spring board to send the resources into the Factory, it go's through the hole in the roof.
I use the spring boards like that to water the planters so I can use the conveyor to feed seeds with no need for bees.

Hey Z, the "promoted employees are actually infected by some kind of fungus ,that's what the blue shrooms are.
34:41 he's duck diving and weaving!
Knocked out by the beauty of this game. Such an intriguing world.
You've been past a couple of electrical boxes on the ground, will they slot into your power grid to enable multiple inputs.
" I wish I knew about this earlier" if he had read the comments he would have known it

@@EliSmith ah, understandable, thanks

very unique game. love it. I just dont have the time to play so I appreciate you playing for me and letting me indulge :)

Yes

You should spread your pickers out more. Don't have more than one picker per field, otherwise, you deplete them too much.
can you please have the episode number at the front, it's had to see if you have a long title
This game is AMAZING!
you can pick up walls that are low and replace them with full health

Just wanted to let you know that this video helped me make 99 Electrolyte-Paste because I didn't know you could modify the factories like that!
I just carpet bombed the surroundings of the underground storage and ran and dodged around🤣🤣🤣

The second dispense chest is the one that is a lower rate than the one towards the front
There is a rock pathway to follow. Hopefully he figures it out. Lol.

Part of the fun is learning these things, but i think it could be a little more intuitive or at least hinted at

There a research booster you can build
As much as I like the game, the lack of resource management for some things was just pain >_
hi
Practice dodge rolling a bit you are kinda a sitting duck against the enemies
I saw the trailer for this and it looks complicated
I am like number 780
According to TH-cam I'm the first one but I'm not sure
yes

The Waffle House Has Found It’s New Host
its getting painful\aggravating watching you have zero clue how to figure out a game...
