One thing I'll chime in about the discussion at the end: I don't necessarily see pirating as bad when it's used for exploration. Sometimes I pirate a game to see if I'll like it or not if it's too expensive for example, if I like it I just stop playing and go buy the actual game instead. Worst case, I don't really enjoy the game but I still play its pirated version, but in that case I wouldn't buy that game in the first place anyway so the dev doesn't really get affected. In some rare cases the game actually grow up on me and I buy that game or the dev's next game, or just promote it to my friends, etc. So yeah pirating a game is a gray area tbh and not always a bad thing.
I think we lost a huge aspect of the gaming community when everything went to digital downloads, and you are no longer able to rent games to try them out before buying them. I used to rent a new game every weekend, play it for 10 hours or so, and if I really enjoyed it, I would plan to buy it. The only way you can experience that same mechanic these days is via piracy.
@@Starhawke_Gaming Developers still have the option to provide a demo! They just don't because it'd cost time and money. And it's probably hard to sell to execs.
@@manoflead643 - yeah, it is funny how many examples of "demos" have been found that are actually the full game, or an early version of the full game, with some hard stop built into it, and a little creative hacking turns that demo back into the full game.
Have you thought about making a 'games I enjoyed most in 2024' end of year review video? You could divide it up into categories, like 'action', 'run based' and 'incremental/idle game'
Btw the best play is to go 1 and 1 from the bottom left corner and then going 2 right and 1 up from there every time and then two up and one left from those points
Just make sure you do a voice in your new game but only speak your native language not English just put English subtitles so everyone is like wtf is this?!?!

With steam refund, it's kind of a moot point though.
Unless you played for 2 hours+ then you decide it's not for you.

you resetting every time was so painful, you gain the dream shards immediately you dont need to reset
He did it to restore the dream shards in the area because there’s a max per area per reset
You should get an auto clicker for things like the end where you have to spam, really bad things can happen
