0:45 BTW, I've learned an interesting thing about dispenser chests and power generator.
You want two of them and a pushback to split resources into two dispensers on any incoming line. Then combine these 2 paths back and direct into generator.
The reason for this is that maximum power generation is achieved at 32 fuel per second, but dispenser chest can only go up to 31 and you need at least 33 for _stable_ 32 production. The thing is it always flicker between what you set on the chest(s) and step below. So, if you set 31 it'll be flickering back to 30. With 2 chests you want to dispense 33 per second, so it'll flicker between 33 and 32 and since 32 is max there will be no flickering.
Also, shroom power is messy garbage and devs need to work on optimizing how it works in the background. When I stay at the base it works just fine, but whenever I go away to Station 5, as for example, it start to glitch out. One time I just end up all the way there without any light whatsoever. Spent next 30 minutes looking for my body which I lost behind one of the buildings. -_-
2:50 I've learned that 1 grav ore node produce a tiny bit more than you need to supply 1 factory processing grav-ore and factory processing grav-ore produce a bit more than you need to produce grav ingots. So, simplest solution will be 2 factories per node. Grav ingots one should be at least 1 step away from the processing one since it needs 3 ore, so by the time it finish processing there'll be 1 ore in between, 1 inside of the processing facility and 1 just finishing processing, so all 3 will immediately drop into ingots factory and it will start making the next ingot.
Another BTW, you can put a thrower on the line to throw things over a lamp or a tree instead of belting around.
Haven't experimented much with blood ore much yet since it have barely any use at shrooms phase beside weapons production, but quartz have its own ratios. 3 nodes → 2 processing factories → 4 ingots factories. I personally set them up in 2 rows 3 factory each. 1 processing and 2 ingots in each row. But it'll work just fine if you place all 6 in the row. It's just the ratios that are somewhat important and even that goes out the window when you over-produce those ingots.
And, btw, you don't really need to automate glass production even though it will be nice to automate entire lamps production, let it fill a single chest and remove it entirely. You'll need those picker-pals collecting flowers for shroom power anyway.
6:55 While game teach you to place picker-pals in a sequence it's actually a lie. ;) While they take a little bit less space this way (no belts) they don't work very well when there's two pals coming to unload at the connected platforms. They will interfere with each other and one behind won't be able to finish unloading while one in front unloading. So... it's better to place them next to each other instead and drop all the flowers on the belt.
BTW, never build throwers over flowers or berry fields. They can grow in the space between thrower and its destination, but picker-pals can't pick that!

A few more tips:
* When you setup shrooms production make sure to remove toads from blue and red shrooms after you finish a chest or two of batteries. This abomination keep sucking shrooms in front of itself and when line stops they keep piling in the same place. This may cause performance issues. After I manually picked 2 piles of a few thousands shrooms each (literally) main base became less laggy. Devs really should rework these toads. Add an internal inventory and exit port, perhaps, so it'll stop pulling when reach maximum.
* Entire weaponry and walls production with sole exception of smoke bombs seems largely optional due to supply pods being extremally cheeseable right now. I'll just say that walls don't have to be made of walls. ;)
* When you get to the point when you'll have to catch deers you don't have to use special deer traps. They are rather inefficient at their job and only incapacitate deer for a while. So, if you place them and go away deers will eat them, take a nap and go away. Additionally, if there are berries or sap nearby deers are likely to ignore traps and go for those instead. It's much easier to just rush one of them, drop the same bomb you'll use on chargers and toads, and immediately detonate it. This will incapacitate them as fine without need to wait and hope they'll eat the trap.
Well, you can try to setup automated catcher, though. Surround a trap with throwers and direct them into a walled-off section. At least this worked in the game trailer. Haven't tried to do so myself yet since it doesn't seem like we need many.
* Deers can and _will_ eat edible stuff on production lines (berries and sap in particular), so be careful where you lay down your belts. If deers spawn nearby they may come over and nibble. And take a dump right on the belt. And that little present may go all the way to the power plant and clog the entire line until you go there and pick it up. Happened to me twice before I realized what's going on noticed one little rascal nibbling on sap line near berries line. Had to remove that sap to avoid luring deers next to the berries.

Loving this series
The frog is to the 'north' you can use the item finder as a compass. The frogs are slightly beyond some water - you will need to make some red batteries(water resistance) (red can be found in the forest where you found the bees). I spent so much time running in circles trying to find that stupid toad.

Just got this game yesterday, seen the trouble you had getting through the supply pod by punk monk. I built a bunch of factory's about 2-3 layers thick and it worked to keep the pushers out and held up well against the exploding things. All I had to do was take care of the bees with the smoke bombs.

The lights aren't a pain just use the "spring board" (when you forget about spring boars) to pop over the light and tada save room on building space rather than building around the lights, not sure if you can launch them over or through a tree though since I'm not playing it right now also spread out the pickers to cover more area rather than stack them in lines otherwise they harvest the exact same spots rather than harvesting untapped zones and bump into each other when trying to drop off their loads resulting in just a very slight delay in production
I wonder if the stone paths on the ground lead to the other stations? It looked like there was one leading to Station 3 where the Punk Monk was. I bet if you followed the one southwest of Station 2 it would lead to Station 1.

Z the massive ammount of blood water that you found in the last episode is called the blood lake and you can find the frog in the blood lake but you need to get the red battery because it give you the ability to not die from the blood water.

might want to start removing the dispensors for your red flowers and just trow them in as fast as you can gather them
I think you've started cutting too much, last example is @11:56 where you say "all the way back" but you cut out "the boring parts" and bam you're there.
If I see the full walk I get a sense of scale of the map and build it in my head as an immersive whole.
Also building items, at least let us see you queue them
For context, I watch this series for relaxation so I value a smooth flow a lot more than quickly getting things done.

I can't believe he forgot that Bees spread plants if there's one mature example so he should lights the glow berry fields then place bees to POPULATE more berries just be sure to harvest fewer berries that are being spread & it should be sustainable. So excited to get farming stuff but instantly forgets how to use it typical Z1 lol

Watched your whole series so far and still infuriated you have two dispensers going into your power… why? Your not splitting them, and they’re backed up so your pickers can’t even unload. Just get rid of the dispensers for the love of god, man!
